A train? TWO trains??
That seemed to make the smaller ghosts buzz with excitement! They zip-zapped all around Katie, talking in sets of excited chitters and chirps.
One of the Electrobeats took a deep breath, before letting out a loud' "ALL ABOAAAARD!", that didn't quite sound like its own voice but a pre-recorded line. Another 'beat jumped in on this, and let out a "CHOO-CHOO" sound, causing all the ghosties to have yet another laughing fit.
During that playful display, they all walked inside a grand, medieval-styled library, with high, dark wood bookshelves with accents of copper. Warm-stained glass windows and small chandeliers illuminated the room for a pleasant reading afternoon.
The one thing that didn't quite fit the aesthetic were the seats- or rather, the several bean cushions and pillows littered around on the floor over a soft, dark red rug. The colors at least seemed on point-
Another thing suddenly stood out.
A peculiar, ghost skeleton with electric-looking hair stacking the books in order. He seemed distracted, muttering to himself until one of the Electrobeats chirped at him, taking the humanoid ghost out of his thoughts. "Percival?" He asked out loud before turning around, and his eyes comically widened at the sight of Katie, with her hair still frazzled. He blinked once, twice and, despite having no visible mouth, he offered a sheepish grin.
"Ah, we have a guest..." He said, mostly to himself, before setting the books down and giving Katie an awkward wave. "Uh, hello! I certainly haven't seen you before- how did you get here, Miss...?"
'Percival' made a series of sound and gestures, and the larger ghost seemed to understand.
"Should've known," He sighs, before floating down to be near their guest. "You walked into a portal, right, Miss?"

They tilted their... head? Body? Who knows, but they tilted in curiosity with a seemingly innocent grin. Then, the small ghost poked Katie’s finger, and caused her hair to stand up in a frazzled mess, again. It seemed this little ghost could produce electricity on its own, but it only used it to mess around. The small ghost giggled more, before shaking their head at her question- they had no idea who Dahlia is. Perhaps a person of their universe, judging by the portal Katie came through. “Peep!“ They suddenly called towards the electric cord, and literal sparks flew out of it. Suddenly, Katie was surrounded by about a dozen more of the little ghosts, all similar in appearance and just as happy.  They all chirped greetings at her, their voices squeaky and a little glitchy, before the first one gestured Katie to follow them. Their master could explain things better.
She yelped as her hair stood on end, the ends frizzing even more than they were usually. She couldn't help but coo over the multitudes that now appeared before her though.
"Oh gosh, look at you! Well, Dahlia's or not, you're the sweetest little things I've ever seen!"
With zero hesitation she strode off after them, her mind abuzz. If this hadn't been a Dahlia thing, hadn't been a park thing as a whole, what could it be? She was so very curious to find out.
"So, this is your home! Oh it's very lovely, lots of room for you lil fellas and fellettes ey? I could fit my whole train in here!"
She made a grand gesture to the hallway with a guffaw of laughter; one that felt as large and hefty as she was, but stayed warm and friendly like her as well.
"Could fit two of them!"

More giggles came, bubbling up alongside a feeling of playful excitement, reflected in the way the static field began glowing, but not aiming to hurt the guest.  A small ‘bzzt’ rung out from a nearby power cord, an orange spark flew out- ... There was suddenly a small, ghosty fellow facing her. Too small and too cute to be seen as dangerous, judging by the red heart on their chest and the slight bobbing of their whole body, as if they were following the beat of a song inside their head. “Peep!“ They said, raising a hand in greeting, yellow, beady eyes lit in glee.
Katie's attention focused on the cord. Only for a moment, as she quickly discovered what was causing things to feel so charged. The woman jumped back- and came face to face with the cutest ghost she had ever seen.
"Oh sweet Powers."
She grinned, offering a hand to the little thing, smiling brightly.
"Well hello there! Aren't you a cute lil' thing!"
She'd seen plenty of ghosts, the park had more than it's fair share, and even more supernatural beings besides that. But here was one new- if not perhaps a hidden creature she'd never met before.
"Are you one of Dahlia's lil friends? It's so nice to meetcha! Peep to you too!"

Her voice echoed down the hallways, altering the silence of the mysterious place. No response came back... At least, not immediately. Bzzt-! A strange sound followed by an even stranger sensation. The air began to hum lowly, a faint static field manifesting around the new guest, causing her hair to stand up in all directions. ...And then, there were giggles, coming from more than one source around her. But there was no one in sight? Were they messing around with her?
Katie's outfit was tinged with metal in places- the brass and copper on her clothes sparking with static electricity as the field appeared. She quickly took her coat underarm as she felt the jolt from a small static shock.
The smell of the dust and the field's charge tickled her nose a bit- a sneeze ringing out with a mumbled 'oh excuse ME' into her arm. Though she seemed oddly calm about it.
"Now then- Dahlia, you didn't tell me you had friends round! What's this all about?"
...Was she just a bit dense, or was she really not spooked at all?

The strange portal that manifested before her had a strange appearance- it did not look like something out of a sci-fi movie, like those flashy portals that spun madly, casting a green-lit room into a chaotic mess with papers flying everywhere. Instead, this strange opening was… calm. It simply stood there, trails of what appeared to be golden sand gently looping at its edges. It almost looked natural, like it’s always been there and not some kind of space anomaly. What was on the other side was just as odd. It was a long hallway, adorned with arcs and pillars of dark wood and stone. There were colorful tapestries on the walls, and even sets of full polished armor, proudly standing up in line. It looked medieval. But a closer look at the chandelier hanging above showed the ‘candles’ were light bulbs… perhaps this was some sort of new attraction?
Now, Katie had very little in the manner of common sense. Anyone could tell you that. So rather than pause, take every precaution and stick her head in... She simply blinked. Grinned. And promptly threw herself through like a child running through the gift shop.
It was a large place to be sure- and she had a spark in her eyes as she gazed around, hands brushing over anything that didn't look too fragile. I mean, it was meant to be touched, right? It had to be some new attraction. It fit right in. Was this in the little area just before Dark Forest? No, couldn't be...
"HELLOOO-OOOO?" Her voice bellowed, a loud and jovial tone that made one's ears ring in close proximity. "Dahlia, is this you?? Loving the decoration, HA! Why was the magic door in my house though!"

Katie was not always the brightest tool in the shed- far too naive for her own good. Always a bit too curious. So when she saw a little portal in her workshed while cleaning her beloved train? Why, she just HAD to see what was in it!

Arthur’s Bio: [Link] Mun QnA: [Link]
This story takes places after the gang manages to save Mystery from the demon’s possession, and things have returned to... some degree of normal.
Which, is not a lot, to be honest.
Arthur wishes to be happy it’s all over, but it’s hard when he’s aware of everything that went wrong on his quest to find Lewis- his death being the biggest factor.
Sure, he’s back now with his family and Vivi, and it’s all Arthur wanted, but at the same time it isn’t.
Lewis is having problems adapting to what used to be his old lifestyle, Vivi is preoccupied with the demon encounters and is trying to find ways to protect the team with Mystery, and Arthur...
He doesn’t know what to do.
What’s worse, he feels they are all growing APART. With Vivi working hard and Lewis avoiding him, the fear of being left behind is stronger than ever.
Because Arthur wanted them to be TOGETHER again, he wanted them to be HAPPY again, even when they had awful haunted places to go through- he just wanted that familiarity they lost when Lewis went ‘missing’, and now it turns out it may have been for nothing.
And he can’t help but blame himself for it. It all started because of him, anyway.
But rather than sit and wait for what felt like an unavoidable fall-out, Arthur began to look for a way to fix everything, but not in a way anyone would expect.
So, let’s say Lewis has powers as a ghost, and Vivi also has supernatural abilities thanks to her ancestor. But Arthur is just the smart mechanic, right?
Wrong.
There are too many ‘Excalibur’ references in his family for it to be mere coincidence. And Arthur had heard that magic ran through his lineage ever since he was a child.
Was it just another joke the adults in his family liked to repeat? He didn’t care at that moment; digging through his hand-me-downs, Arthur finds an ancient tome he’s almost forgotten about. One that was sent to him from a distant relative, with a nearly faded signature at the bottom of the first page:
‘Merlin.’
It took hours of research, and then he finally, finally, found something that could help him set everything back in order.
All he needed were a couple items, a wish... and a life.
