I finally have a tumblr! This is mostly going to be reposts but I'm putting this very special picture Keii made for Ch.10 of my fic (special circumstances request) here, to show off how lovely it is.

This is Keii's tumblr, she does some beautiful art, not just LoP related either.

This is also my ao3 account where I post all my LoP fics! My main longfic and the one Keii's art up there depicts is Lead to Gold, an AU involving Pinocchio and the Arm of God.

I made this comic a little while ago about a game I'm making called The Beekeeper's Picnic, a cosy point and click adventure featuring a retired Sherlock Holmes.

Now, I do actually want people to play and enjoy this game. I think my creative work is a kind of communication, and it brings me joy to know it's succeeding in communicating with people.

So I'm just going to slip in here that there is a kickstarter for the game running at the moment. And it's going really well!

But actually the main message I want to tell you is this:

I think it's actually ok just to BE and to DO. To dip your hand in ochre and make a handprint in a cave wall because you're a human being, and you want to see how it feels, and you want a way to externalize your complicated inner world.

Our capitalist society will tell you that you must use your resources, you must not squander gifts or opportunities, that you must rise, that you must produce, produce, produce.

But I made a little house in my computer and I found happiness in it.

If I say that's enough, it's enough. ❤️

While I haven't been able to troubleshoot this effectively, testing indicates that the images are only broken in Chrome for desktop. I can view all my content without issue on mobile Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. And you can right-click > open image in Chrome for desktop and it'll open fine.

So uh... I dunno, do with that information what you will, I guess.

Oh, cool, all the Dropbox-hosted images I embedded in AO3 that used to work properly are no longer loading. That's fun.

So three months ago I uploaded a picture of a very silly ship called "Furcarpet". It is what you think it is. Furfur/Mr. Brown, and it's honestly usually quite funny and sweet.

Today the actor Tim Downie wo plays Mr. Brown (And Gale from Bg3) liked, shared and commented on my Mr. Brown Furfur ship saying he love this ship, not only on Instagram but also on my Twitter!

....so that's a thing that happened.

He seems genuinely sweet and I am very flattered, but mostly I am amused that the actor of Mr.Brown loves the "Furcarpet" Furfur/Mr.Brown ship.

...I have been on an emotional rollercoaster when it comes to this.

I'm going to have to talk about Webtoons(company) at one point, and its... impact on the webcomic sphere too. Trying to find the most eloquent way to say that these companies aren't your friends, and that I am seeing more and more creators getting chewed up and spit out when these places are done with them. I'm legit worried for how The Content Creator model is going to hurt so many more people, who have been led to believe that this is the only way to get their work out there.
