Review #1 Urahara

Hello everyone! Thanks for reading my first review but before I go, spoiler alert ahead.

Now I’ll start this by talking about one of the newest Fall 2017 anime “Urahara”

Urahara is a show about the daily live three girls and there antics in their own limited-time shop as they come up with fashion ideas and delicious desserts. Well that's partially right but there’s more to this anime and since there is only one episode out, I’ll keep the bad comments to a minimum.

The anime starts with Rito Sudo (The protagonist), a cute but plain girl with two horns on her head like a demon (think Zatch), she also designs food and clothing for her store “PARK”. She heads to the store she works at with her friends Mari Shirako, a cute but dramatic girl who makes most of the clothing the store offer, she more of an ojou-sama then anything. Her final friend Kotoko Watasumugi, the energetic kitten of the bunch that makes the sweets for the store and is a terrific analyzer, she’s also a neku girl (stop your cheering!) because of the noticeable pink ears and tail.

The anime turns from a some slice of life anime to a completely wacky but cliché magical girl anime in less then half the show. The girls become magical girls from a big talking fried shrimp (I'm not kidding) named Ebifurya and a human girl from America named Misa Maruno who gives them magical items powered by their creativity (Which looks like is most of the premise of their power). That helps them fight off UFO like creatures stealing our culture!

 This anime in art style is very appealing to some, with the fluffy character designs and use of colors (like really its so freaking colorful) if you seen Flip Flappers you’ll sort of understand. The plot is sort of mundane but refreshingly new with hopefully more added on in the later episodes. Despite the actual character designs, the animation is extremely weird and standard with three-cut scenes and slow paced movements, if produced by Trigger (my opinion) it would have had a better fast paced action scene since it closely resemble their other series Kill La Kill and Little Witch Academia. 

Overall it was had a good start with the hype it had, I hope it grows as a series and can’t wait for the next episode to come out.
