Remade and redesigned Alyssums' model, very proud of this one ^-^ I've figured out shoulders a bit more and now the elbows are just my greatest struggle.

Workin on gettin her into VR Chat but the poly count is a touch higher than I'd like > - > (also updating my unity version appears to have broken something so gotta figure out how to fix that with minimal effort before i can even do test builds lol)

Hello Everyone!

Today is the first day of the weeklong strike for a ceasefire in Gaza.

I have realized that I do not think the message has spread far, at least on this website. This might be due to the lack of internet in Gaza, it has been down for days. Not much can be said by the citizens there, it's like some people forgot about them. I encourage all of you to share this post, or make your own, letting everyone know about this strike. This is something that should transcend the aesthetic of your blog. My blog was a gimmick blog, but for this week, it is a blog for spreading information and awareness.

Bisan Odwa (@wizard_bisan1 on instagram) has called for this strike. She is a journalist from Gaza, who has been experiencing this horrid violence for 15 weeks. 107 days. 2568 hours.

Not to be a pretentious fuck or anything but I usually really hate talking about Subnautica with people despite it being one of my all time favourite games because a lot of the time it's just,,, oh okay the developers lovingly crafted an entire alien planet with incredibly beautiful flora and fauna that had a lot of thought put into the evolutionary niche every living creature fills and how every piece of this ecosystem interacts with each other. All done with the express goal of being a nonviolent game that encourages the player to study and appreciate the beauty in the world around them and convey the idea that humans aren't the center of the universe and we should lessen our impact on our environments as much as possible. And all you can talk about is how everything is weird and scary and how much you want to kill it and how you're mad that you can't terraform and destroy more stuff and think the 'combat' is terrible and wish you would get a better reward for finally killing those reapers!!!

#🤝 #nowhere in its promo material or game info does it hint at 'combat mechanics' #not immediately related but its a trend ive noticed in survival games the last 6-7 odd years/decade #where the focus is domination of the world and extremely western/industrial practices and just Kill Kill Kill #exploitation and productivity for the sake of exploitation #part of what made subnautica so successful is it subverted those particular trends and was a breath if fresh air in the genre #if it were made on a bigger budget i reckon they couldve leaned more into the nature/ecology side of things. tbh if we ever get a remaster #(or if the third is back in the crater) i hope we get more complex creature behaviours to express this #anyway ur welcome or im sorry for ranting in the tags of ur post lol :)
