I just like reblogging things and cute men and women, is that too much to ask? Older than dirt and I know a little about a lot of things.
I build things and work on stuff.
Taking commissions on custom keyboards on subdued basis. Might ramp that up later.
I'm a big fan of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children", which is actually an example of what I was talking about when I said that they're "suggestions".
That one was one of the three suggestions for what eventually became Char's Counterattack with the key difference being the Gundam in question and Amuro's love interest in the manga.
Another one that I like is "After War Gundam X: Under the Moonlight", which is a proposed sequel to my favorite AU Gundam series.
The fandom would probably agree though that THE BEST Gundam Manga though would be a toss-up between Crossbone Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, the latter of which has an anime and we're always hoping that eventually Crossbone will get one.
Japanese Endorsement of Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire
The Godzilla Double Feature in 109 Screen X locations in Japan started last night where they were showing Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla X Kong back to back with an intermission, which was a genius move that I need to happen here in the States immediately.
But anyways, the reviews from the Japanese viewers who are seeing GxK for the first time are some of the best I've ever seen (excuse the machine translations):
I don't know about you, but someone telling me "it was a silly movie made by an idiot and it was very good" is a ringing endorsement and would get my butt into a seat faster than anything else. 🤣🤣🤣
Yup yup, if you really want the full experience don't forget the Manga, but remember that technically they don't count as canon unless they're animated. Otherwise they're just "suggestions" to the canon in the UC universe.
Ho boy, a whole bunch of weird, weird, really weird things. You first really get a glimpse of them with Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam with the introduction of the Federation’s Jupiter Energy Fleet and more specifically Paptimus Scirocco:
He later became the leader of the Titans in Zeta and a major villain in that series.
We didn't really visit the outer colonies again till the events of the absolutely bonkers titled Advance of Zeta: Gundam Inle - Black Rabbit Had a Dream. The basic jist is that in UC090, 3 years after Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and 7 years after the events of Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans, elements from Earth and Zeon arrive on Mars to begin colonizing it and shit goes sideways. All you really need to know about this one is that it had some of the most jaw droppingly insane Gundam designs in series history:
ARZ-124WD TR-6 Wondwart
ARZ-124INL_[Inle]
After that pretty much the next time we check in on the outer colonies is Mobile Suit Gundam: F91 which takes place on a deep space colony:
And then the sequel manga to that: Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam
Which is where the second part of the meme was taken from. Cause yeah, that is the main gundam from the Crossbone Vanguard which are in conflict with the Jupiter Empire.
After that we start getting into the truly insane shit from Victory and G-Reco, and I honestly don't have enough braincells left to dedicate to explain that.
Homura is just straight up one of the weirdest people imaginable. Like, forget about the time loop tragic doomed romance for a bit, I want to see what it looks like if she wins and then actually tries to romance Madoka. She has a massive collection of illegal firearms. She builds her own bombs. She lives in an ultra-modernist white box apartment that she's decorated with a couch made of concentric circles, a giant swinging knife pendulum to remind her of the ever-present flow of time, and a wall of several dozen screens. She communicates primarily in vague and ominous warnings and is more or less incapable of saying anything directly. She addresses everyone she meets by their full name with no honorific which comes across as bizarre and intimidating. If you count time loop years she's 26. She was raised in a catholic orphanage. I want to see her take Madoka on a horrifically bad date and cry in the bathroom partway through when she realizes she's fucking up

Thank you everyone for supporting me all this time.
I've been slowly working at improving my artwork through studies and tutorials and it's all been put into this piece. Sorry this took so long to do!
I hope to continue improving so I can finally create the stories I wish to tell.
