How committed are you?
Success of any kind takes commitment! If you only give your workout a week you might as well not even start. Could you imagine getting married and saying, "Were going to give it a month and see how it goes." To get real success you have to be committed! How committed are you?

Rome wasn't built in a day....and neither was your body! Whether you are in good shape or not you didn't get where you are in a day....it took years. You can't get out of shape in just a day....and the same applys for getting in shape.....don't expect to exercise and eat right for a day and all the sudden be where you want....it takes consistency!

Overnight Success
People talk about overnight success hmmm....what they don't see is the preparation it takes for that success....all the hard work it took to get to that point of success.....all the setbacks.....all the failure....all the heartache. I don't care if you are talking fitness, business, anything there is no such thing as an overnight success. Success starts with an idea. Then a lot of hard work and perseverance. It is easy to look at someone with success and say I want what they have. You just have to ask yourself are you willing to do what they did.

Support is key
When starting a fitness journey support is key. When I decided to make the change to a new program I had a close friend that made the same decision. We both worked out at our homes but would text each other daily for motovation. Now we took it a step further and started a private facebook accountability group. We have had 21 pound losses, 20 pound losses, and 15 pound losses in a month. We even had a person lose 38 pounds in just over two months. Finding the right mentor
I was told a long time ago....if you find someone that has what you want, if you do what they did, you will get what they got! This is true in so many ways....how can a broke person teach someone to be wealthy, how can someone out of shape teach you to be fit, how can someone who is uptight teach you to be at peace?

All about change....in the photo on the left I was working out at least 5 days a week but I had a 36 inch waist and was embarrased to take my shirt off. The photo on the right is 6 months later with the right program and diet. Sometimes it is good to fail!!!
Maybe you have heard of Ronda Rousey, Michael Jordan, Abe Lincoln....the list goes on and on.   What do they all have in common?  Massive success but why?  Michael Jordan was kicked off his high school basketball team and was able to become arguably the best basketball player ever.  Abe Lincoln was ran for congress three times and lost, the senate twice and lost, vice president and lost.  All this before he was elected president in 1860.  Ronda Rousey had a goal of winning an Olympic gold medal.  She got the silver (not bad but in her mind she failed).  She is best female fighter in the world now and a movie star.  I once heard her say she probably would of went back to being a bartender if she won the gold because she would on been satisfied.  She didn’t and it drove her to success.  The same can be said for Jordan and Lincoln.  So my question is how to you handle failure?  Do you let it own you or do you let it drive you to bigger success than you ever thought possible?

Think about that for a second and let it sink in.  Lots of people talk say things like "I want (fill in the blank) but....."  Quit letting the buts get in your way.  I didn't become a United States Marine by letting the buts get in my way.  I didn't graduate the SWAT academy by letting the buts get in the way.  Why do you?  It starts with making that choice.  What are you going to do when things get tough?  That's why I love working out so much.  What do you do when your workout gets tough?  Do you quit or look adversity in the face and say I am going to give it everything I got?  The choice is yours.  Every time you overcome that spot in your workout where you want to quit but you push through you are creating success habits.   Working out properly can help prepare you for a successful life.  The same thing can be said for creating bad habits.  Do you quit when it gets tough?  If so it is time to change that.  So what if you can't complete your workout.  Modify before you quit.  Take a short break or pause and come back with everything you have.  I'm not saying going to failure is bad....I fail all the time in my workouts.  But I don't quit and that is the key!  I will give everything I have....take a short break(regroup if you will)....and come back with everything I have.  If you have been quitting when things are tough just try taking a short break then finishing and see how much better you feel when you are done because of what you accomplished.  You got this!!!!!  If you need help on your journey contact us at [email protected] and let us help you!!!!!
