Link click: Theory & questions:
*all spoilers for season 1 !*
Just What how why everything? Lol. Every question I can ask will be deliberately left out plot point, meant to be slowly revealed. But let's get on with some anyway.
Most of my theories will be surrounding Lu guang, as he's the one mc shrouded in mystery. And he's totally not my favourite character and absolutely not pretty 😝
1. Lu guang is hiding something, or more like a lot of things. Duh. Everyone knows that.
He radiates this aura as if he's already... Guilty of something? And certainly carrying some burden (the burden of knowledge for sure, But more than that.)
I feel like he's on a mission of some sort. The business they're doing can't simply be for business. It's like.... A training session....? Is Lu guang training Cheng? In Preparation of a bigger, dangerous, life altering mission?
2. Is Lu guang somehow connected to Cheng xiaoshi's parents disappearance, at least knows something about it? I'm theorising this because of the guilt I sense from Lu guang.
What happened to the parents is a big question already, duh, very likely related to the timey whimey stuff (hey I'm still using the term! Hehe it's too perfect)
3. Ahem, what, I mean who is Lu guang anyway? (Or really what) sometimes I feel like he's already time traveling. Him being from the future is a popular theory.
His age is weirdly left unknown, thats also a big point.
He's possessing his younger self??
From Alternate timeline?
Is he actually xiaoshi (and qiao ling's) son from the future?  😂 it's almost scary how it kinda makes sense to me. Maybe xiaoshi died or disappeared or got lost in a dive.
4. Power mechanism. Still don't know how their powers work, since when, rarity of such ability, etc etc.
Lu guang probably can do more than we've seen.
5. What are the odds of 2 people with complimentary powers randomly meeting each other?
From the little we've seen of their backstory, I feel like Lu guang purposefully came to xiaoshi, their meeting wasn't any coincidence. Ties in with the mission theory.
6. Someone on YouTube said that 'maybe our protagonists knew each other beforehand in a different timeline, but something happened that caused only xiaoshi to forget everything. Thus lu guang's reason for being more knowledgeable. - very nice theory! I'd like to extend it, maybe xiaoshi died or disappeared in another timeline, thus Guang feels guilty. Thus his protectiveness and understanding behaviour. Hesitant to approach xiaoshi n start this business but couldn't help it either.
And not just to Xiaoshi, he's also quite protective of Qiao ling. Maybe something happened to her too... (Future son theory intensifies!!!)
7. Lu guang is seen to get tired while using his powers, right? When he's guiding xiaoshi for hours. He often takes naps on the couch at random times and sets up alarm to wake up at right times. Ok, I of all people should consider this a totally normal thing to do, do u need excuse to nap ahem ahem... And especially when you're 'watching a mundane movie through your mind's eye', of course it's tiring. But sadly (and fortunately) not everyone is Opshee, so the way it is shown, this can also mean that using luguangs powers are taxing. Low energy high intelligence.
8. The villain/antagonist, red eyes. Yeeeaah, so who that, what that? Should I even ask such obvious question, that's what season 2 will be about 😆 but I can state my theories beforehand.
That's not just a person, but more like....karma? Time police? A supernatural force that punishes everyone who messes with time? A being without even a solid body.... Woooo that'd be hard to deal with!
- wait, he did say something like being an 'agent' in last episode? Wonky translations, so not sure. But the original title of this show literally translates to 'time agent' apperantly, so......? Actual time police possible??
- or in simpler case, another person with similar powers to our mcs. Who's just a psycho. Wow so simple.
How his or her powers work is another question.
- is that person time traveling? Or just possessing people in present time? It should be time related to make it cooler n match our protagonist's powers, but there were scenes where it can be intercepted as just normal possession ability.
But then he can't be time police type....nah. I'll stick with 1st theory.
9. Obesvation: in episode... 6 maybe, there's a little scene at the police station, one of the serial killer victim's file/page went missing.
That has to mean something later. Maybe.... A police is related?
The assistant police, forgot his name, could he be the main villain? Dun dun duuuun!
10. Lu guang's watch. ...just, something seems to be there about it. It's highlighted more in the chibi shorts. That is related to something of his backstory.
11. Lu guang's platinum blonde hair, actually kinda stands out considering most people has the natural brown/black. Well, I wouldn't even think anything of it cuz, anime world! 😄 Multicolor hair is soooo common to us, especially when Lu guang n Xiaoshi are designed with complimentary black-white aesthetic. It just makes sense. But it kinda caught my attention from their university flashback scene... Lu guang was wearing a hat. It just felt like he was sort of embarrassed about his unnatural hair...?? Then my galaxy brain thought this has something to do with his mysterious background as well. A side effect of time travel? Future theke আসতে গিয়ে? Time travel makes your hair white? Lol
(Eeeeeeverything about Lu guang is sus. What's next opshee? Lu guang's shoes are suspicious too? His white shirt too?)
12. ..... I'll just clearly state my wildest n craziest theory here - Lu guang is Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao ling's son from the future. 😶
I have no reason or proof or argument for this, and I'm embarrassed, but it just keeps making sense somehow?!
( this note has been sitting on my phone for almost a year, but now that we have season 2 airdate, I better post this now, and let's all brainstorm about these!)

King sentai King-king-ger 12th impressions:
Mainly, thoughts about our new 6th ranger, Jeremy. And wow, WHAT an interesting character, his personality is very enjoyable and fun to watch. The highlight for me was the fact that he's been the narrator this whole time. I'm a huge enthusiast of storytelling techniques and leaning on the 4th wall stuff, so all the 'story' lines Jeremy kept saying, I absolutely loved those!
I have to say, with all these lines, I almost got excited thinking he might actually say " you're all playing roles in this fantasy story I created" haha, but yeah, can't expect this level of 4th wall breaking here. His ' secret' origin wasn't bad, but it's rather simple to me.

George Karizaki: Questions & Theories
Questions:
1. The demon transfer thingy. It's a totally unique concept in this show, never explained. How do you even do that? What was that stamp?! It doesn't seem possible with the info main series has so far.
2. What happened to George's mom? At first I thought she died long before, due to her absence in flashbacks. Wouldn't even mention her, buuut then they showed her in photos, with the same flashback-age George. So, is she alive? Probably not anymore, very low chance. But then when exactly did she die? Or did something entirely different happen...?
( I totally don't have a fanfic level idea that she also went into hiding and is working for foundation X 👀)
3. How come George didn't recognize the weekend base as his childhood home at all? Because he left that place immediately after the fake death? Wasn't old enough to remember?
Plus, his age also doesn't quite make sense, if he's 28 now.... He was 3 when masumi faked death? But the kid in flashbacks definitely looks older than 3, should at least be 5... Well, I guess it's just an actor thing, it's hard to get an actual 3 year old kid to act.
Tumblr media
Or who knows, maybe... He did recognize it. Everytime He walked in, he remembered. He wondered how things turn out like this, what's happening now, etc. Maybe he was falling apart all this time, who'd know? he didn't tell anyone, we didn't get to see that, the show isn't focused on that.
4. And where does George live now, why did he have to borrow Igarashi house after fenix skybase collapsed? Sure, he never seemed to leave the base before, maybe even lived on board for the time being, but the sky base couldn't be his only place to live, right? That's a flying thing, he could've lived there if it was at least a ground base with quarters. He has a car alright, as seen in 45-46. Doesn't he have a house on ground? Fenix also has employee quarters, so there's no logical reason for George not having a place. But then if he does, why did he set up lab at ikki's in a hurry, later weekend base... His own house would be easier...
Maybe, cuz distance? He had to stay close to the riders for work efficiency. Hmm, that sounds plausible.
Tumblr media
So where was he living during the juuga arc though, I've been wondering where that famous rooftop ( 'famous' only to me for aesthetic shot purpose) is located.... That's not the weekend base right? Or is it? Where was his working lab during ep 46-48?
Birth of chimera shows a much better lab that's certainly different from weekend. And it's probably a former fenix lab, that's what they said, right?
But are we counting the music videos? George was basically sitting in his house there, which in reality was Nori-chan's house, so George's house is same as actor's... So George is Nori-chan for real..... Lol where am I going with this😝🤣
Tumblr media
*later Update: looks like the Juuga vs olteca spin off will show George's house, so alright then.
5. Which brings us to this- what's George-kun's full backstory?
Who raised him after Masumi's death, what exactly happened after that? This answer's supposed to be simple, but i have a stinking suspicion that it's not so simple. What if an organisation took him?! Fenix? Akaishi? Was he abused? Well, there doesn't seem to be any sign of abuse... But something is off...
What did George mean when he said "everything (I/we? Went through) is daddy's fault" and "you're not the only one with scars that won't heal" ?  🤔 Just saying in general, maybe as in the whole ordeal? With the igarashis?
or....
Theories:
1. Random theory outta nowhere: what if we see how and why George became a fanboy, particularly this type of fanboy.
With all the confusion of who raised him, let's say a rider tech researcher. if somwhow he actually did watch other riders on a screen, as Footage, (taken with.. mini drones, as for watsonian explanation). Just like a tv show. And in his days of loneliness, these were his only 'friends'. The rays of light in the darkness.
🌚👁️ That would hit too close!!
2. Did George really know about the demons driver secret? At first I totally took him as that type of character so there was no doubt, he lacks morality, everything's an experiment, etc etc. Sure. Buuuut the more I think about this character, take subtle clues from the acting, now I've started having doubts.
He didn't get to know how or why his father got the burns, which was while absorbing Vail in the driver. He did know masumi made it, but wasn't sure of all it's 'hidden power', as stated in ep 24 to Olteca. Akaishi picked up the driver and later gave it to George with some unknown 'strict order' ...... Things are getting sus here.
My idea is what if George didn't know the full details about this driver, but had some suspicions or guesses, just like most things. He always has some idea in the background. That's why he does feel guilty for what happened to Hiromi, but can't fully deny of not knowing. He also has a tendency to appear to be in control.
Also why his excuse sounds lame.
I'm also wondering if all his behaviour while confronting Hiromi during 19-20 were acts....
I hope someone will read this very nitpicky theory session/ rant of mine 😅
Please feel free to suggest your ideas too!

George Karizaki character analysis:
Observations:
1. It's just my hypothesis, maybe they wanted to do something like this at first - George is most of the time being goofy, but he has a rare 'serious face/expression' mode, whenever that shows up, that's something! ikki + vice gets  'things are about to get serious' mode seeing it.
I'm only saying this based on saber finale and ep 23. The expression ikki gave when George took glasses off and made the serious face.
Tumblr media
2. George does seem to have 'modes' or, acts. There are some scenes where he clearly morphs to his 'smug face' from a serious/worried/concerned one. For example, while talking to Olteca in 24 n 25. Certainly put up a 'dont really care' act with hiromi while handing him mass produced demons driver.
Tumblr media
3. More like a fact. George, as an actual villain, would be a force to reckon with. (not talking about Juuga the ultimate rider here. Yah Juuga may not be that powerful compared to many riders from other seasons, but that wasn't even his real goal)
Because he's got knowledge. He's a fanboy, and the twisted kind, plus super genius, knows way more than possible about other riders, so making a rider system which can counter any other rider's power is very possible for him, he's the perfect guy for that. George really is capable of creating the ultimate rider.
As Nori-chan stated, 'even among the characters seen so far, George is a yabai character!'
Tumblr media
Imagine a special movie where he's just out murdering every rider for real and not even the strongest attacks work. Clock up? Nah, countered. And imagine him doing this while having fun!!
4. George's color. I kept thinking yellow...
(also used yellow on my notes. Where's yellow here, Tumblr?)  Maybe cuz Juuga is black n golden... But then it should be golden... Or maybe his yellow glasses... Or him fitting perfectly whenever he wore yellow, even though it only happened once or twice? Dude pretty much wears every color. I can't even figure out how my brain associated yellow with this character.
Tumblr media
But! this has been confirmed officially, direct from Nori-chans words! Only recently (10.9.22) watched the 50x45 special stage show, which actually took place wayyy before Juuga's debut, even before George henshined to demons,
And Nori-chan clearly said "my color is yellow" on stage (so the audience can use that color in their glowstick)

Revice character analysis *Incomplete*
( this isn't even half of what I was supposed to write, it's a totally incomplete analysis, I started writing but never got the chance to finish properly. It's been sitting on my notes, but finally with some courage, and inspiration from @scoups4lyfe , I'm posting this.)
George Karizaki:
Tumblr media
starting with my favourite, yes I'm biased. First, let's just celebrate the fact that I even HAVE a favorite this time? Because despite popular belief, I don't always give out 'fav' title in every season. Even when said seasons are very good and full of good characters.
... But looks like I don't have to write a thing. someone already did a breakdown, of the main question, of Juuga arc. Who? Oh no, not just any random fan.
The actor himself, Hamao Noritaka. He wrote it all! Explained everything!!
When you don't write breakdowns for years, and only come back to find out actors themselves took up the job. 🙄🤣
Tumblr media
This actor is a fan himself, and truely so. Well, Nori-chan (yes, I'm using this name) Mainly explained why George went berserk in 47-48, I have something more to say. But He pointed out some things I didn't think of either. Makes sense, as my main clues are from actor's subtle expressions, of course the actor himself should know better!
So at first glance, George Karizaki is... Pure entertainment 🤣. Yep. End of discussion.
He's insufferable, a manchild, pain to work with, also incredibly lonely. In a chill mode most of the time, always having fun, but also uses this persona as coping mechanism.
Has no idea how to deal with serious emotions.
Wants to appear to be in Control, not showing weakness. Tries to act cool and unattached.
...........
Relationship with father:
Goerge clearly had a sweet relationship with his father in his childhood, loved and respected him, masumi was also such a nice and encouraging father. Crystal clear from flashbacks.
Also from the very 1st episode, before any flashback, we see how George looks up to Masumi, and still misses him. Yes, the scene of fenix ceremony. When George was talking about visstamp history, after saying "my father made those..." There was a little pause, then he said 'but he died' with very faint, bittersweet expression.
He also regularly attends Masumi's death memorial, as seen in ep 21/22?
So yah, he respects and misses his father, but came to accept and live with it for all these years. But then eeeverything crashes.
And isn't it funny how he figured this all out in the background ? Unlike main characters typically in such situations, he didn't get a grand revealation like 'whaaat! Daddy you're aliiive!!' he pieced together clues, investigated, and came to this conclusion by himself.
Without any emotional support to handle this grave situation.
Even before knowing the fact about inner demon transfer thingy, I saw a bit of 44 when George refuses to visit his father. Thought of another simple psychological state.
Denial. forced detachment.
He lost his father once, it was definitely sad enough then, plus at such young age. Definitely came to adjust and accept this loss over the years, as normal.
But to find out he's actually alive and then lose him soon AGAIN? For 2nd time? 'I'd rather not care, I'd rather not feel.' tried to deny, and not care, to not feel hurt again.
This idea wasn't exactly true, but still not totally invalid. SO many factors and emotions played roles in this case, ultimately resulting in the breakdown.
Ep 28. Scene- first time facing his father,
"Why didn't you tell me you're alive?" Then his father kept talking about defeating Giff, the world, etc.
But in that moment, with every step George kun took, he couldn't hear the 'world' or giff or whatever. His mind was filled with resentment,
'I'm facing you after ALL this time, and you keep talking about missions, you're not even explaining yourself, I have So many questions, and yet everything else comes first to you, before me? just answer my obvious simple question! How could you? How could you?!!Why? Whywhywhy...'
Masumi was dying, and made it his life's goal to redeem himself of the vail incident, spent his last moments engrossed in it too. Very logical and understable, but to George? It hurt.
'Why couldn't you focus on ME, our time more, and a bit less on the world' , as illogical as it sounds. Also resentment about all the mistakes Kari-chan papa did before, they're separated in the 1st place because of those, and had to spend the entire time fixing those.
He felt abandoned, and used.
Juuga arc:
why didn't it happen sooner and longer??! Lol.
Going berserk and totally unhinged (and suuuper cool! )
Was, in simple words, Goerge's strange way of dealing with grief. Dude has no idea how to deal with such emotions.
Despite everything, did you notice how incredibly lonely this guy is? How he barely deals with serious, real emotions?
Now, a big problem here is that I'm missing some info right here, the summer movie takes place right at this time, so might be missing some important piece of info. Also chic, his father's transferred demon , we barely know any info about that. chic is a villain in the movie, released from George. So gimme info!!
If George's behaviour was indeed influenced by chic, that would change some explanation.. but right now I'm describing things mostly without this effect.
I might have to update this part after the movie comes out.
(*later Update: Summer movie came out, and no, no explanation on this whatsoever. A surprising lack of, I'd say. Chic was one of the main villains there, but George didn't even have a proper talk! Chic is definitely interesting, everything demanded a proper face off or conversation at least, between these 2! Like come on!
And the movie doesn't even transition well from chimera special, I mean George's mood is nothing like in chimera. He's not supposed to be the usual peppy Kari-chan, he was already unhinged in chimera special!)
Someone from FB noted that transfer of Masumi's demon gave George 'imposter syndrome'. It happens in real life, when you doubt your own achievements as someone else's influence.
If all this time he had the part of his father, not sure how much chic influenced him, so everything he did, achieved, invented, was it his own doing, or was it just because of his father? Who am I? He thought he's been controlled, as clear from the lines "in the end I've been dancing in daddy's palm" and "he transferred his demon to control me".
Character development -
Why you became kinda nice later, George- kun? 😝
He slowly started caring for the igarashis, particularly, Daiji's wellbeing. The change seemed sudden at ep 26, when he was genuinely concerned about daiji vs kagerou situation.
But the reason is, from 25, after learning about the igarashi secret and his father's involvement in this whole thing, experimenting on Genta was the reason why the fam, the siblings are in this mess. So that... Kinda gave him a sense of responsibility and guilt? (From This guy, yes!) That's the point when he visibly became more caring. Probably.
......…..
(more observations, theory and questions coming up next!)

Geats episode 28 highlights:
*spoiler alert*
• honestly, I expected the cliffhanger to end as Ace wakes up at the last moment and dodges, in usual Ace fashion, he's been plotting.. but that didn't happen at all, so it was a simpler yet unexpected surprise.
Tumblr media
• So that's how Ace has been living huh. Even he doesn't know all the answers.
He also wondered about how every parent ends up naming 'Ace '.  So the ceaser coin keeps coming to him but he also doesn't know why.
His life is a mystery to him as well... *Sigh*
And it's definitely tiring.
On the very 1st episode, Ace gave off the vibe of carrying huge burdens. Now we see what burden. The burden of ...life. tiredness of living.
it's wonderful how the acting could subtly imply this so many episodes ago!!
Existing just for 20 years in this world is tiring enough, and 2000 is... *Sigh*
Still raises some new questions though, like, does Ace instantly remember everything from his previous life even as a baby, or remembers slowly?
All the families he's had so far, didn't he grow any attachments to some, or at one point everything became meaningless because he'll just 'pass by' this life anyway....
• it was nice to see Gene's emotional journey too. Emotions hurt huh.
But why's he leaving, the team up was getting good! (Heard it's because the actor is busy?)
Tumblr media
• And a new cast song! I was surprised! Duet from Ace and Gene, rider and sponsor. I honestly didn't think of this idea before, so are we getting more? 😃
"Live for the moment" is a beautiful song too! None of the actors sounded like pro singers (unlike keiwa, Neon and Michinaga's actor's musical experience) but who cares, the tune, melody, lyrics, sounded so nice!
• Beroba is 350 years old, and the actress is 15 in real life. Both cases seems visually impossible so I don't know fiction-reality, anything anymore. Lol
• Good thing Michinaga has plans to overthrow jellybean. Still hoping he has a more interesting wish he's not telling anyone yet.

Geats episode 27 highlights:
Tumblr media
So, we got a few answers to the questions that came up with last episode's revealation.
So Ace reincarnates with totally different faces.
But how most of the names sounds like 'Ace' is funny.
(And I once said that his original name could be Alexander, still wanna see that as the 1st incarnation's name.)
And he doesn't always come across DGP in every lifetime either. Okay.
But is his reincarnation happening due to a wish, or something else, we've yet to know.
Tumblr media
• sleepy and vulnerable Ace is a rare sight!
The cliffhanger ending is nice, but it's not really a cliffhanger because we can all guess what's about to happen. Even if we didn't, the preview already showed Ace all alive 😂
Speaking of which, when's Ace "dying", like come on, I've been saying this since episode 1....
• our trio in sengoku era outfits looked cool. I also liked Neon and Keiwa's well dressed fashion at the beginning (for their date lol)

Geats episode 26 highlights:
*spoilers ahead!*
Tumblr media
Sooo, reincarnation huh? This has been a fan theory since the beginning, so congrats guys!
This has always been a possibility, but sadly not something I find interesting enough... It felt more common... ( Writer pulls something like reincarnation and still I'm not satisfied 🤦...Someone stop me from my 100 different twist ideas for Geats and sky high expectations! )
So Ace retains his previous memories, this is why the high schooler Ace looked so confident in his supposedly 'first' henshin. This is why he seems to carry burdens. ( But considering how even Ace doesn't know many things about DGP... I pretty much wasn't thinking about reincarnation theory. )
• And his names ahaha. It's always Ace? I always thought Ace was a fake name! I wanna see Ace Garfield and Ace Lee too.
I thought his Ukiyo Ace identity was fake, but he does have parents in this timeline, wo der where the mother Gene mentioned is....
And of course this raises some questions again -
• Does he always have the same face?
How many times was he actually reborn? We've only seen 4 deferred wish coming true, but he could've had many more lifetimes. He could've also made more wishes for later use, in a different style.
Quadruple boost, could he have done that with any other powerful buckle?
• Does his wish of 'participate in DGP till I die' ends with 1 lifespan, or carry on to the reincarnations? Probably not, otherwise DGP would've known this already.
And of course, how all this actually works and Ace's true, detailed identity. Eagerly waiting for that.
• Creation deity listening to his wish could also strengthen the theory that it's Ace's mother Mitsume. And he might also have some special powers too?
...Or maybe not. It could've also been because that's the instruction of his past wishes. I Shouldn't make anymore theories.
And most importantly, Ace isn't a plant? I mean evolved jamato? I'm sad lol! It can still happen I hope (Here goes me and my grand theories 😅)
Well well, curious to watch how everything unfolds next!

The 'Karizaki inner demon' talk:
So, we know the whole deal with George's father putting his own inner demon in George thing.
And I found it to be a very interesting new concept - look, so far in Revice, George is the only human who's had someone else's inner demon in him. How to do that? What are the effects exactly? That's a unique concept, unfortunately never explained or explored.
And I don't even see anyone mention this potential plot for future Revice projects.
Tumblr media
I was kind of hoping that Revice summer movie would touch on this topic at least, because Chic, the said demon, is one of the main villains in this movie!!
Tumblr media
But no, no explanation on this whatsoever. A surprising lack of, I'd say. Chic was causing a lot of chaos, but George didn't even have a proper talk with him? Chic is definitely interesting, everything demanded a proper face off or conversation at least, between these 2! Like come on! (I knew I can't expect karizaki family stuff in an igarashi familia movie, but just a few more lines maybe?)
And the movie doesn't even transition well from chimera special, I mean George's mood is nothing like in chimera. He was not supposed to be the usual peppy Kari-chan...? he was already unhinged in chimera special!
George-kun definitely has many issues to solve.
as I've mentioned before, George's unique state makes him the perfect specimen... Err I mean candidate... (Well yah specimen) For further experiments, right?? ( Btw, I promise I'm nowhere near being a mad scientist or a criminal consultant! 😇) If he's not doing that himself already, someone else definitely should, and would. Like how to put someone else's demon ? Does it only work with parent-child? (Inheriting traits analogy) and in a very rider-ish way, how many can a person take?
Also, how come Chic is so fully matured/intelligent like the Igarashi demons? It's been said that they're so powerful/fully functional because having giff cells, only Igarashi demons are like that, usually other people spawn a mindless monster. But chic is on par with vice, vail and Kagerou, even stronger than lovekov! So.... How? Kari-chan papa, what did you do? How? Is it because Chic was implanted and had years of time to mature? Or could you have secretly experimented on YOURSELF, senior karizaki?? 👀Or maYBe even oN George?!!
Most likely because his own subconsciousness was fused with his father's and that gave ride to an even bigger mad scientist type persona, but that's my assumption, I need the show to say these.
Experiment!! Answers!! (Again, I swear I'm not a criminal consultant)
The new organization in Live-Evil-demons v-cinema could've done this experiment, but nope. Now only the Juuga special remains. But I doubt I'll get to see this topic even there 😭.

Kingohger 1st impressions :
(spoilers only for episode 1 )
Tumblr media
Cousin : what's this? What am I watching, is this episode 1, or ep 20-30 ?
Me : hehe, perfect for someone who used to start a season with episode 28! (Yes I'm strange)
*10 mins later*
Me: wow, this type of emotional acting from red is episode 25 material indeed!
So, king sentai kingking-ger is here! (I like to use this funny translation, but after watching Episode 1, it's so good, I probably won't be using this name, lol)
And wow, the scale seemed massive just from the trailers, and indeed it is. The world building, the lore, strong characters with personality and initial clashing - a lot is going on right from the start, and that's how I prefer my Toku hehehe!
I'm actually enjoying the heavy CGI use for now. The vibe is quite different from usual sentai though... The monarchs assistants seemed like they jumped right out of an anime.
And I'm already finding Red's acting n character to be intriguing, that's great.
Well well, very interesting start and I'm excited for this season!

Donbrothers Finale thoughts:
(I know I'm a week late! Sorry!)
*spoilers ahead*
Aaaand it's actually the end, the finale of Donbrothers!
So how do I feel? Ummm... I don't.. know actually, because it didn't really feel like any finale, rather like episode 27 or something... Ahem cough....
I was worried about how the show will resolve and explain all the interesting plots they introduced, considering how they're always making funny fillers even with few episodes left.
Well, luckily things got going around 45 and some plot was resolved, the real story finally began! but then again, from 49.... Eh, the pace fell off again?
They introduced new and interesting villains at the last moment, would've been great to see them in more episodes.
Didn't answer all questions/plot properly. Like the while deal with Don kaito ( was looking forward the most , I've been curious since the beginning) but at least this question will get answered in the crossover movie, hopefully.
And seriously, what is up with recycled plot points from KR Revice? 😂 First the dual personality thing, and now the 'main character loses memory in the last episode' - which came out so suddenly in Tarou's case! Why THIS of all things, I don't understand. Revice was built on these ideas in a deep way, but Donbrothers watered down and simplified these.
Donbrothers had SO much more potential right in front them, but as if Inoue-san trolled us.
I was joking if they finish the season with 'its been a manga all along!', (I would actually prefer it than memory loss though) and well, it didn't happen exactly like that of course, but still... Considering Haruka did end up making Donbrothers manga in the end, who knows, maybe we indeed watched her version of the story all this time 😉

Geats episode 22 liveblog:
Tumblr media
- that's a cute way of delivering the mission card. But another mission card... No way of twisting Neon as the desaStar....
Oh, it's definitely very good, to jave the sweet Neon be all tricky. But I don't know what's up with me and wanting it to be Keiwa so bad.....
- Buffa getting approval rating even without being in the game officially. Of course, just like real life audience's approval 😆
- ooo, Sparrow is back in the opening, as team Jamato. DGP team is getting smaller, and Jamato team is gaining members - interesting visuals.
Tumblr media
- ahaha, game master's despair is so funny !
- hope team Jamato is planning something interesting
- fighting the game master, woahhh who would imagine that! *Read in Sarcastic tone*
Glare 2? Wow what a creative name
- .....pffffftt 🤣🤣 uff the reaction on Ace, keiwa and Neon's faces! Hide and seek... ahaha!
Tumblr media
- Keiwa's comedic bad luck returns!
- slipped on a banana peel, ok, when did this become looney toons 😂
- Neon doing her mission. By the way... Shouldn't Ace figure out the spy's identity? Especially after Lopo was eliminated and Neon had the conversation... Frels like something Ace's smart self should deduct already.
- doodles on Keiwa's face.. uff the comedy this episode!
Tumblr media
- Yes of course Ace noticed something was off with Neon. And I should stop wishing for keiwa to be the desaStar....
- And now Neon trying to turn the suspicion to Ace the trickster. How they're both trying to convince Keiwa... Ah, I like this!
( Perfect chance for a twist that Keiwa turns out ... Ok ok, I've said this too many times, sorry)
- ooo, who's the new guy? He's probably a sponsor, lecturing Neon about honesty, wow haha.
But is he Neon's sponsor? Then her father's not sponsoring her, then Who is mr kurama sponsoring I wonder.....
- Ace and Gene's interesting conversation
- lol again at the game master 😂
- Woah Neon! You've definitely changed! What a way to blame Ace!
- ooh, team Jamato was targeting Game master?
- huhu Ace-kun says it too! But wait wait... Keiwa's face seems like he doesn't actually believe Neon....
And he really didn't! Woah, go Keiwa-kun!
- ah... 🥹 Here stands our main trio, but with character development over 22 episodes.
Keiwa isn't so naive and easily manipulated now. Neon's learned to be tricky and interesting, and Ace isn't the lying trickster at this moment (but please keep doing it hehe)
- important info time! Vision drivers are keys to creation deity? And a new visual of a statue. Ok, I'll wait for these to unfold. Heard the theory that it's Ace's mother, but we'll see.
- yess Gene-kun, jellybean is making things more interesting... I suppose. Lol it's like 2 fans arguing about the story direction.
- woooo kamen rider gene (ziin? Me not sure how to spell) henshins!!! Pretty cool suit too!
Next week... Will I still keep wishing the grand twist of keiwa being the 2nd spy? Lol. Let's hope not.

I feel like, Donbrothers will end with Haruka tearing off a page in frustration, breaking 4th wall, - (not) surprise! The entire show we've been watching was a writer's manga drafts. And stuff will remain unresolved because she couldn't write it.
