See You in My 19th Life had me fully invested, even though i'm not big on romance, probably because it's so soft and sincere and thoughtful. it's a collection of love stories woven together throughout nineteen lives. it's one love story spanning a thousand years. it's so many kinds of love that can be found even in one life: Aegyong making Jieum her family, Jieum forming a sisterly bond with Chowon, Seoha and Doyoon's brotherhood, Chowon and Doyoon cutely and tentatively pining for each other, and of course the quietly passionate love between Jieum and Seoha.

See You in My 19th Life, at its core, is a story about love: loving people and loving life so intensely you leave no room for hatred, rage, or spite. there's no unnecessary drama. the show's not perfect: there are a couple of loose ends in the plot, but still, it's enjoyable and it made my weekends. oh, and the music is also top-tier 🥰

This scene where he is so lost (and dripping wet) and she is there. This drama gives me so much of comfort for trauma and healing for hurt and just aaaa everything I love.

I am screaming!  But this is such a contrast to his family and honestly something all of us deserve to hear when we had a tough day.

This is so much caretaking…and the intimacy of it!

No wonder he can’t resist. This is in some ways both an angstfest and the softest love story and I AM INSANE FOR IT!

I love that he is startled by himself.

Heeee! But also, he’s older than her current body but somehow he still comes across as younger one and she’s a noona and I love it (side note: I have no idea how Ahn Bo Hyun, 6′2 and with paws the size of my entire head, a wall of a man despite even the diet he went on, manages to convey such utter and complete fragility, but I am here for it.)

God, I love her taking charge. She is 100% the one in charge in that relationship and the whole Gong Xinwen vibes of this OTP (if you know you know) are driving me up the wall in a glorious way.

This was one HELL of a make-out session! I combusted.

It will never cease to crack me up that Tantai Jin took over the Jing country cause the demon mask voice thing in his head convinced him to, it's your birthright etc etc. - so he arguably took it over for Evil Reasons™ and then Tantai Jin proceeded to use his newfound power to -
