Hi All, I created this account specifically to try and reply to these wonderful posts, so hopefully this works the way I want it to! Wayne McLoughlin is my dad, and my mom stumbled across these yesterday and shared them with me. We are both so overwhelmed by the love and admiration you have expressed about his work with Warriors and his career in general. He would have been so moved by the beautiful artwork you have created, and to see the impact of the series and his art. He loved his years illustrating these books, and my mom and I were so fortunate to have front row seats watching the magic unfold. Thank you for continuing to share his talent even after all of these years. He was a brilliant, witty, and adventurous man whose passion was sharing beauty and humor with the world. He was the shy boy in the back of the class who simply loved to draw, and dedicated (publicly and privately) his work to the children who may not have felt noticed, or were picked on for being different, but who all had so much to offer the world.
