Keep fighting. Take care of my wheels. Sam, remember what Dad taught you... okay? And remember what I taught you.

It’s funny that people completely ignore the context of Castiel’s “we do have a more profound bond” statement comparing his relationship with Dean to his relationship with Sam. He’s not even being honest. He only says it to cover the fact that he hasn’t been answering Sam’s prayers- because he’s been avoiding Sam to try to hide the fact that he broke Sam out of the cage. Castiel broke Dean out of Hell because he and a team of angels were ordered to. He broke Sam out of Lucifer’s cage by himself because he wanted to. Sam, who is basically the “antichrist” and the vessel of Lucifer- is the first person Castiel freely chooses to be friends with. If anyone has a more profound bond, it’s Sam and Castiel.

I do like characters who do not exhibit any hint of sexuality in any way because they’re too busy being tormented by the narrative. like “yea I might be gay or whatever but the labyrinth is growing so I can’t worry about that shit rn”

i think about the stanford fight every day. i think about sam planning exactly how he’s going to tell john and dean. separately or together? sooner or later? deciding if he can ask dean to keep it secret. i think about things going wrong, john finding the letter or dean making a joke that sam just can’t dismiss. i think about dean finding out and going straight to john. i think about things going exactly the way sam planned them, until suddenly they don’t and he’s walking out the door and never coming back. i think about every single way it could have happened and whether the start even matters when the ending is always the same
