Morgan, Xashier, Isla, and Death are sitting around a dinner table with no food. Morgan has a DM’s screen and the other three have various dice or character sheets etc on the table.

MORGAN

You walk into the dungeon and there are a bunch of angry orcs!

XASHIER

Can we befriend the orcs?

MORGAN

No.

ISLA

Dumbass. Can I seduce the orcs?

Death facepalms.

(note: Xashier is a barbarian. Isla is a mermaid. Death is visibly a purple tiefling, but I don't think that contributes much to the bit.)

it's a satirical ad for butt wipes for men but it has to be G rated so I couldn't say "hey bro, do you wipe your ass?"

First storyboard! I know I should finish the script before I should be storyboarding anything, but I'm just super excited for this first scene (from the script here)! So here's a rough storyboard of the first 8 shots. I'm hoping Morgan will help me fancy these up when I'm done! I think that if we end up with really cool looking storyboards, I may end up putting them as a Post+ perk, though.

If anyone has any questions about what things mean, feel free to ask! Of course, things will be made clear if I ever get to film this ;)

Hi, I’m Alex (they/she)! I’m part of the @morgansystem, one of the ANPs. I’m really into writing and directing TV, and would be down to do short films as well. I’ll be honest, though, the “and-film” is just because “alex-tv” was taken.

“Company” pilot: “New Girl” (act one)

Scene One

In a red room--not in the headspace, Uterus (character played by the same actor as the headmates) is readying a nursery. There’s a crib on one side of the room, and an old file tube on the wall. When Uterus is finished setting up the nursery, she anxiously awaits something to come out of the tube. A ball falls from the tube. She struggles to catch it and then gently places it in the crib, but somehow it bounces out and rolls/bounces out of the room.

UTERUS (at the sky) Again??? You fucking traitor!

Scene Two

We briefly see the system body in the bathroom, visibly uncomfortable. Then we see Morgan in the control panel with the same expression on er face. Max walks by and Morgan urgently gets his attention.

MORGAN Hey Max!

MAX Hi!

MORGAN Here, have the controls.

Max looks at the screen. If we see the screen, it has blood on toilet paper or a pad, but we’ll probably avoid it.

MAX Heck no! (runs away)

Morgan is distraught. Raphael comes into the control room to look in a file cabinet. Morgan ushers him closer.

MORGAN Hey Raph! Wanna deal with something for me?

RAPHAEL Sure, what is it? (He looks at the screen) Ohh, no, this is above my pay grade. Sorry, kid.

Raphael takes his file and leaves the control room. Morgan handles the controls for a bit, obviously uncomfortable, and we hear a toilet flush.

Scene Three

Max is at the controls. He’s using them differently than Morgan was, as if he’s playing a video game. We hear Minecraft (or something similar that isn’t copyrighted) noises in the distance. Raphael leans his head in and knocks on the door.

RAPHAEL Remember we have homework for film class, okay?

MAX I don’t wanna do it!

RAPHAEL Well, I’m not very good at this artsy stuff. I thought it was going to be more “how to edit a video” than “how to direct a film.”

MAX I’m not good at it either! Well, I can do art, but not homework.

RAPHAEL (sighs) I’ll go get Morgan.

Raphael walks out. We see Morgan in another room, curled up under the blankets in a bed. Raphael opens the door and walks in.

RAPHAEL You’re wanted in controls.

MORGAN I don’t feel like doing anything.

RAPHAEL I know, it sucks, but I don’t know anything about film and Max just wants to play video games. And, you know, “pet a kitty.”

MORGAN I’ll do it tomorrow.

Raphael walks out, exasperated and clearly unsure of what to do. Suddenly a doorbell rings, and he looks very confused. He walks a little more hurriedly down the hall.

Cut to Raphael in an entryway with a front door we’ve never seen before. Still obviously confused, he opens the door.

We see a new character, Alex (played by the same actor), in a sweater and leggings. She looks just as confused as he is.

RAPHAEL Who are you?

ALEX I don’t know. Who are you?

RAPHAEL I’m Raphael. Where are you from?

ALEX I don’t know.

RAPHAEL What do you mean, you “don’t know?”

ALEX I think I just… arrived.

Raphael and Alex stand there looking at each other dumbfounded for a second.

RAPHAEL I don’t suppose you know anything about film?

Alex and Raphael walk into the control room, where Max is on the couch playing video games (with the controller that controls the body)

ALEX Hi, there! What’s your name?

MAX Who are you?

ALEX I’m not sure, honestly.

MAX Okay.

Max goes back to his video games and ignores Alex and Raphael.

RAPHAEL Max, this… person has agreed to do Morgan’s film homework. They’re going to need the body.

MAX (whining) But I wanna keep playiiiing!

RAPHAEL I know, buddy, but if we don’t pass our classes, we’re not gonna go to that other college next semester and then we can never be a teacher and our life will be forever messed up and we won’t be able to afford for you to play your video games because we’ll be working 80 hours a week in customer service just to pay the rent!

Alex looks a little bit concerned and confused. Max pouts and turns to Alex.

MAX I hate both of you!

Max storms out of the room, handing Alex the controller on his way out. They stand there a bit confused, and Raphael looks apologetically towards her.

Art Blogs

So ummmm since we can never decide on what to create (because we're all different people with different talents and different interests), I think we're all just gonna let Morgan keep the Patreon, but others of us want to make things too! So I created a new Tumblr account (main @raphaelmorgan, follows and likes will be from there) where all of us creators can have our own blog and maybe accept payment on there instead of having to create multiple Patreons bc ugh

Mine is gonna be videos if I ever get to produce them (and until then it'll be scripts, storyboards, etc), Morgan will probably post er art, and hopefully there will be more! Our resident engineers, electricians, and video game makers haven't been out in a while, and the body usually doesn't have enough time or energy for Raphael to write the academic stuff he wants to write, but hopefully eventually we'll get better at managing our time and spoons as a system and more of us will be able to create!!!
