Would time still be stopped if Virgil died in stopped time?

While most of the energy and effort to start and stop time comes from the actual action of doing it, it does require energy to keep it that way. Just not much.

Time would start again but not like it would normally. I actually put a lot of thought into this because I considered it heavily for the story. Will I still use it? Who knows? But I won't finish answering the question for that reason.

How long did it take for Logan to get his secondary power?

For everyone else they popped up around their 20s. Patton is in his late 20s, almost 30. That's late but that's also because he never used his powers until he moved out. That being said... Logan was a teenager. He was about 15ish when it happened because he used his all the time his whole life.

ok powers come from wanting something strongly right (plus the mutation causing it of course), so what did everyone want to get their powers?

Logan's started with his parents keeping everything out of his reach at a young age. It grew with the want to know what people were thinking about when it came to his powers. He didn't like secrets. Funny how that worked out for him.

Patton was a lonely kid. His mother was always overprotective. The powers he got only made her worse.

Virgil wanted more time. Time to spend with his sick mother and time to stop and think and not worry and panic in the moment.

Toman really really wanted to be a hero and shoot lasers from his hands. He was wired with energy as a kid. It grew into his electricity powers. This only happened after his dad helped him get over his fear of thunder and lightning. He thought it was really cool after that.

Kids want a lot of things strongly. In those moments they wanted those things. If it was something silly then they would have had silly powers. It's just a gamble.
