Finished this piece! It's a study of a scene from 'Lupin III' but with a Good Omens twist. Recently I was reminded of the movie again, and ever since I saw that little yellow car I've been thinking about recreating it with the yellow bentley instead.

Time for "Elliott rambles about random details" : different cultures have different ways of squatting, Western people (USA and Western Europe) squat like Jigen in this picture, whereas most Slavic people and, from what I've heard, Chinese and Japanese, squat on full heels. I'm not entirely sure whether it's a cultural or biological thing, I've read that it's first and foremost cultural, but children squatting one way or another will lead to their ankle bones growing a certain way, meaning they end up being only able to squat one way (the other being still possible but rather uncomfortable). So this is another detail pointing towards "Jigen is American" rather than "Jigen is Japanese".
