What are you?
I walked over the door and carefully unlatched the chain opening it slowly. It was beautiful outside the sun was shinning brightly. Walking a few feet out a few feet out I sighed enjoying the feel of the sun on my skin. I wasn't sure how long I had been trapped in that stuffy room but, the fresh air felt nice.
"What are you doing?" I heard him his from behind me as hands grabbed my arms and I was pulled back into the room. Jumping a bit as the door slammed behind us.
"What the Hell?" I snapped feeling angry and embarrassed.
I was about to give him a piece of my mind when him hiding in the darkened corner near the bathroom.
"Are you alright?" I asked alarmed moving toward him.
"I'm fine!" He snapped.
"I was a little taken back by his rudeness but, I wasn't going to let that stop me.
Carefully I walked over to him and laid my hand on his shoulder.
He turned around causing me to fly across the room.
I rubbed my head trying to stop the world from spinning. I closed my eyes taking a deep breath I looked toward him again about to voice my thoughts when I noticed that steam was rising off of his wasn't steam but, smoke he was on fire.
I once again moved toward him trying to ignore the pain in my head.
"I said stay away from me!" He let out an inhuman growl.
"You're on fire!" I snapped trying to see the flames but, there was none.
"I'm fine!" He snapped again scaring me a little bit.
"You're not fine!" I snapped back I was now close enough to see a huge welt that had formed on his left arm his black long sleeve shirt looked like it had been burned. "Where did you get that from?" I cried trying to figure out what had happened.
"I am fine!" He growled standing up and pushing me away lightly.
I rushed into the bathroom and looked under the sink. Sighing in relief as I pulled out a small first aid kit. Racing back into the room I flung it onto the bed. Tearing through the kit I found the bandages and rushed back over to him.
"We have to get you to the hospital." I snapped grabbing his arm freezing as I looked at the spot where the welt should have been. "It's gone? I don't understand I know it was on this arm I saw it..." I said confused as I rotated his arm.
"I told you I was fine." He said sounding annoyed as he yanked his arm from my grasp.
How this doesn't make sense...I noticed the gun sitting on the night stand and made a run for it.
Reaching the nightstand I grabbed the small silver hand gun and pointed it toward him.
He sighed moving toward me.
"Stop or I'll shoot." I said shaking finger on the trigger.
"Avery put the gun down!" He demanded stopping a few feet away.
"Tell me what you are!" I demanded my voice shaking.
"I didn't want to have to do this." He said the gun flying from my hands. I tried to run but, found myself pinned against the bed.
"Help!" I screamed trying to squirm against his hold. His body hovering over mine his hands pinning mine above my head.
"Hel....." I tried again but, this time I was cut off by his lips crashing against mine.
My heart skipped a beat as a shiver ran down my spine causing me to freeze.
He pulled away and looked at me his blue eyes shining.
"Do you trust me?" He asked letting one hand go.
I laid there staring up at him trying to figure it out. "If I let you go do you promise to stop?" He asked.
I nodded meeting his gaze.
He searched my face for a few minutes before slowly moving to sit beside me.
He offered me his hand I refused to take it and watched his hand fall to his side.
"What are you?" I repeated sitting up and scooting to the other side of the queen size bed.
"I'm a demon." He said meeting my gaze.
