What got you into ASOIAF in the first place?

A friend got me into the books after I wrote a Naruto fanfiction that was essentially a political drama between the Konoha Clans. "Hey, you might like this" line started the obsession.

There were a lot of times skips in the first five episodes of Hot d. In your opinion, what sort of things could've happened off screen that further alienated Alicent from Rhaenrya because in my opinion, Ser Otto losing his position as hand seems like the last straw after a long list of slights.

The show made a mistake that it turned the story about a young woman pitted against her younger stepdaughter by the criminal stupidity of the ruling king into a stupid rehash of 1/3 of Am I The Asshole posts.

So what I think went on during the timeskip was what would've gone in the book too. Rhaenyra acting like a brat towards her little brother, publicly disrespecting the queen, etc. Just let her be the asshole she is.
