Week Six of Spring Has Sprung 2024: Creativity and Innovation!

Daniel, or Danny (son of Tadashi and Fred Hamada) inherited Tadashi's love of robotics, and someday he wants to make robots that help people just like his papa. He enjoys tinkering around in the garage in his spare time, and he's currently working on making a miniature version of Baymax, his papa's most famous creation, based off of old blueprints that he found.

Dawn (daughter of Hera and Kanan Jarrus) also loves robotics, although for her it's more of a hobby--but a hobby with a lot of heart. She wants to be a pilot like her mom when she grows up, but her family also spends time volunteering with Star Wars charity groups like the Rebel Legion and Droid Builders. She's too young to be an official member of either group, but she loves seeing the way her mom's droid, Chopper, makes people smile, so she's been working on her own mini droid, Chopper Jr!

They may not be related by blood (Dawn's adopted older brother Ezra is Danny's uncle by marriage--Dawn was born when Ezra was seventeen) but Danny and Dawn still consider each other family, and Danny always makes time for Dawn when she has questions about robotics or just wants to geek out over some cool new innovation she's discovered!

Week Five of Spring Has Sprung 2024: Lookalike!

Elim and Luna (son and daughter of Zeb and Alex Orrelios) may look similar as fraternal twins, but their personalities can be quite different. Elim is cautious and likes to think things through before acting, and someday be wants to be a martial arts teacher. Luna tends to jump in quickly if someone needs help without always thinking things through, and she dreams of being a knight performing at Ren faires when she grows up. But they both have a strong sense of justice and are always happy to help a friend who needs support standing up for themselves, and they're both very protective of their younger siblings.

One thing they always have in common is video games--they enjoy playing for fun, but it's also a great way to work things out if they ever disagree on something!

Week Four of Spring Has Sprung 2024: Pets!

First up is Dev (son of Hiro and Ezra Bridger)--he has a pet bunny named Henry, but he also has the family gift of seeming to attract cats wherever he goes! (He didn't inherit Ezra's telepathic or telekinetic powers like his sister Hope, so he can't communicate with them, but cats just seem to know that he's a safe person and will always help them if he can!)

Next up is Sylvia (child of Zeb and Alex Orrelios) with their horse and their German shepherd puppy, Angus and Mor'du (both named after characters from their favourite movie, Brave!) There are a lot of animals on their family's small farm, and Sylvia sometimes thinks they make so much more sense than people do. They love going for rides on Angus with their dad, Zeb, and playing fetch with Mor'du out in the woods where there are always plenty of sticks to throw and interesting things to find!

Progress pics of Angelina (one of my Huskerdust fanbabies), ears and tail are done! (Her head is in the mail with her brother, Ace, to get eye swaps, so Rose is modeling her wig and ears!) Her dress is also in progress, but I'm waiting for her wings to to get here in the mail so I can make sure how her clothes fit around those before continuing!)

Week Three of Spring Has Sprung 2024: Colors!

First up showing off her favorite color is Sun-Hee Tomago (daughter of Gogo and Honey Lemon)! Her favorite color yellow is as Sunny as her nickname, which is fitting because she wants to fly as high as the sky with her own robotic pair of fairy wings someday! ☀️ It's also a favorite color of her moms' so wearing it helps her feel close to her family 💛

Next up is Hermione Walker (adopted daughter of Wasabi), whose favorite color is purple because it reminds her of all the beautiful galaxies in space which she wants to study and help discover more of when she grows up!

And of course we couldn't have a week about colors without the girlfriends taking a picture with our Pride flag!

Week Two of Spring Has Sprung 2024: Theater!

"Popular--you're gonna be popular!" 🎶

"Oh Miss Elphaba--you're beautiful!" 🩷💚

Kavi (daughter of Elphaba and Glinda) and Callie (niece/adopted daughter of Zeb and Kallus) met in theater class when Callie first moved to San Fransokyo to live with her uncles and cousins. After a rough outing by a teacher/coming out to her mom which led to her uncles taking custody of her, and moving all the way across the country from her birth state of Florida to California, starting a new school in the middle of the school year was just another big change Callie wasn't sure she was ready for. But almost as soon as walked into theatre class she made friends with Kavi, bonding over their love of Wicked and musicals in general! (Kavi's moms met playing Glinda and The Wicked Witch in a Broadway production of The Wizard of Oz, so she grew up in a very musical household!)

They both dream of playing Glinda and Elphaba together someday (Callie wants to be the first trans Glinda, and they both think there should be a version where Elphaba and Glinda end to together), and they love dressing up and singing the songs--they even plan to perform "Popular" at their school's musical showcase!

When they're not getting ready for their next show, they like hanging out at each other's houses and listening to musical soundtracks, or going on dates to get boba tea at the Lucky Cat Cafe! 🧋

Disney World Trip Outfits

I FINALLY finished all the outfits for Rose and Penny for our Disney World trip at the end of this year! I know I've posted them piecemeal as I've made them, but here is the master post of all of them! :)

Travel Day outfit--Disney World print dress for the plane rides! (Matching dresses for Penny and Rose!)

Mickey Balloon pajamas for resort room slumber parties! (Matching PJ's for Penny and Rose!)

Ariel (Penny) and Rapunzel (Rose) swimsuits--it might be too cold to swim (and I would never take an AG doll into a pool) but I thought we still might be able to get some cute pics by the pools :)

Animal Kingdom Minnie Mouse dress for Animal Kingdom! (Matching dresses for Penny and Rose!)

Magic Kingdom Day 1: Ariel pink dress (Penny) and Mulan (Rose)!

Belle pink dress (Penny) and village dress (Rose) for dinner at the Be Our Guest restaurant!

Epcot Day 1: The Seas with Nemo and Friends dress (Penny) and Spaceship Earth/the Epcot ball dress (Rose)

Disney Parks ruffle dress for Disney Springs (matching dresses for Rose and Penny!)

I couldn't decide whether to focus on Toy Story or Star Wars for Hollywood Studios so--outfit changes! XD Jessie (Penny) and Bo Peep (Rose) from Toy Story, and Sabine (Penny) and Ezra (Rose)from Star Wars Rebels Disneybounds!

Epcot Day 2: Ratatouille (Penny) and Figment (Rose) Disneybounds!

And for Magic Kingdom Day 2 outfits you will probably recognize from the past but I wanted to include the whole trip wardrobe, Ariel's blue dress (Penny) and Rapunzel (Rose).

This has been a LONG journey but I've had so much fun working on this project, thanks for coming along for the ride! I can't wait to get pics of the girls in the Parks having adventures later this year :)

I feel bad I haven't really been posting new outfits lately, I've been lowgrade sick (but not sick enough to. like. take time off work.) for the last couple of weeks ^^; Slowly on the mend and hopefully I can start sewing again soon :P Until then I've just been trying to rest and cuddling with Rose ^^;
