I always struggled with charatcer outlines or sheets because there were always stupid questions like “what’s their favorite color” or “what’s their favorite memory.” Stuff that would never come up…
My script teacher said you only ever needed to know a handful of things:
What they want. What they need. What’s stopping them. And what they learn.
Hi, I see you’re a fan of The Wilds. The cancellation is such sad news. Someone started this petition if you’d like to sign. It’s a long shot, but it’s worth it. Please and thank you!

You betcha I signed that! Everyone else should too, if you’re as disheartened by the news as others in the fanbase. It may not lead to anything, but at least you can say that you tried to have your voice heard.
The Council of the Great River convenes to hear the unit's testimony and decide whether to extradite them back to the United States; Abigail attempts to convey the dangers of the Camarilla's influence; Tally ponders if the future is written in stone.

🚨🚨🚨 Sign the petition, go comment and RT HULU's message. We must continue to show our interest and motivation to keep the series on our screens!
Okay so I just finished and I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about season 2 but I won’t really be able to sift through them all enough right now to give a fully detailed review. I’m gonna hit a few things then take a few weeks to stew in my thoughts before diving into my Rewatch Reviews
Spoiler Warnings — for anyone who hasn’t seen the entirety of The Wilds’ season 2, please proceed with caution.
Leah is MY GIRL. The last several scenes with her at the end of 2x08, omg. A confident Leah is going to wreck havoc in s3 and I. Will. Live. For. It
My fellow Leatin stans, we were FED… Leah’s face grab, the hand on head and “said with love”, Fatin’s “different her”, the hand holding when the helicopter flies down, the hug, the absolute belief and trust Fatin has in Leah at the end, and Fatin pushing Leah into the rocks while threatening to kill her UGH be still my heart
Fatin is my MVP during the first watchthrough. Her one-liners are fan-fucking-tastic (as always), she’s shown growth with her mom energy, and she single-handedly dropkicked 1/2 of Leatin straight into canon territory.
I love Shoni, and their domestic moments were sweet af, but I feel like we just missed so much in the beginning that it felt… off?
Reign’s acting for Rachel was incredible and on the same note, Martha’s entire storyline was just perfect for me. The subtle emotions that Jenna displayed to show how Martha was spiraling in the beginning of the season that led to her catatonic state in the end? Fantastic
Dot felt absent to me throughout the season, idk why. Her birthday scene was probably one of my favorites though, hands down
I don’t think the boys were bad at all, but I don’t think the pacing was hitting it for me. It seemed just too all over the place. Honestly though, I’m optimistic with s3 presumably being the boys and girls together because it shouldn’t be as much jumping back and forth.
Phase 3’s goal has got to be showing the girls’ newfound power, right? They’re going to take control and command the group which will lead to that male toxicity coming into play like Gretchen is banking on I’m sure.
I have a serious love/hate thing going on for Kirin. He does so many good things then says the dumbest shit that just makes me want to gag, but then again, he’s a teenage boy so what should we really be expecting?
Considering how Raf is 100% the male Leah, I am surprised that I do not like him when Leah is hands down my favorite girl (90% of the time). And I. Swear. If they set up Raf and Leah for s3 when Fatin is pining her ass off, I will explode
All in all, I think it’s was a good season. One that’s goal was most definitely building up to season 3 and (most likely) the climax of the show/experiment. So while it may have not seemed too plot driven at times, I think their main goal was integrating the boys and launching phase 3 for a big ending. Disappointing, perhaps, but I can’t say that I don’t understand the reasoning.
