The US, on 29 February, vetoed a UN Security Council (UNSC) statement that would have condemned Israel for the mass murder of over 100 Palestinian civilians who were awaiting the delivery of humanitarian aid in Gaza City. “We don’t have all the facts on the ground – that’s the problem,” US deputy ambassador to the UN Robert Wood told reporters on Thursday. He then claimed there are “contradictory reports” about the Israeli army's latest massacre and highlighted that Washington was focused on finding “some language that everyone can agree on.” Thursday's veto is the fifth time Washington has blocked a UNSC statement or ceasefire resolution that would hold Israel accountable for the atrocities it has committed in Gaza.

the flour massacre is ongoing. it is everyday. it was not an isolated event. it was not even the first time israel shot at and killed palestinians going for aid (they do it whenever they allow aid through). in fact, they did the exact same thing yesterday morning. just because smaller-scale murders go under the radar for lack of shock factor doesn’t mean they’re not happening continuously.

Maybe in 50-100 years people will look back and realize that air striking 20k+ civilians, half under 18 that haven’t had a voice in their government since 06 was a bad idea. By then Gaza will be settled and turned into resorts and condos or suffering under a puppet state. Until then they are at the whim of global interests, Hamas, IDF, and their respective allies.
The fact that people cannot understand, or refuse to believe that this is NOT a proportional reaction, or that it’s because of “human shields” and “hostages” is appalling to me. There are people who have lost entire parts of their family tree in Gaza, their last name is no more. It’s a game of push and pull, Hamas gave the right push and Israel has happily responded with a new colonization effort. What a fucking mess. And US taxes help to pay for this bullshit.

Oxford surgeon Professor Nick Maynard on what he saw in Gaza:
Tumblr media
We saw mainly a lot of children coming in with the most appalling injuries, many of whom you knew were going to die. And you couldn't give them pain relief. There was often no morphine. There was nowhere for them to die in dignity. So often they were literally just left lying on the floor of the corner of the emergency department to die.

day five of watermelons for awareness for Palestine
take care of your mental health guys, we can't pour from an empty bucket so we can't allow our buckets to empty. mental health is very important right now, it's easy to become demotivated and lose hope.

I remember the uproar around 9/11
Approximately 2,000 people died that day, I think.
That justified
...
So much.
How many have we killed over there, since?
How many laws have we created to "protect" our freedom?
And now...
30,000 civilians -- probably more -- have been killed in Gaza since..
When has this begun?
I don't even know.
All I know is America and other countries have done a lot worse for a lot less.
I want to live in a world that is better than this
One where we don't justify the deaths of others for differences
I'm tired.

Followed just cus i saw the "dni if pro Izzy" bit.
You're hot for that fr
i appreciate it but at the end of the day, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that genocide is disgusting and this needs to be stopped.
to my followers/mutuals, if you’re not doing your part to stop this war/call for a ceasefire and save INNOCENT Palestinians, why not? think about the things that are important to you and understand that these people are not even getting the bare necessities or rights that any human being deserves.
the people of Gaza are facing displacement and it’s the most heartbreaking thing to witness young children, mothers, fathers continue to be starved, traumatized and bombed by the Israeli government.
please continue your support for Palestine, Congo and Sudan. 🍉🍉🍉

I hope you never know peace, you nazi bitch
I'm not a Nazi, sweetie...that would be Israel. As to never knowing peace, that goes to the bloodthirsty savage Zionists, who disobey the word of the very G-d they claim the land for.
Have the day you deserve.
