important update

hey friends!

so this is something that i’ve been thinking about for a very long time and i’m finally doing it.

i’m kinda done with this blog. not tumblr, just this blog. for a couple of reasons, honestly. partly because this is a sideblog despite the fact that i use this more than any of my others. i hate how sideblogs function on tumblr so i figured start a new one and no longer confuse people by why i am not following them back or who this person is sending them asks!

but mainly: i’ve had this blog for nearly two years and my main blog for almost five. i’ve changed so much in only two, let alone five. there are interests i had when i started both this one and my main that i’m just not into anymore and i hate how much of a mess it all is. i’d like to start over with a clean state, be more organized, all that stuff. 

mostly: aftg. i am not into aftg anymore; haven’t been in months. you’ve probably all picked up on that based on how rarely i reblog any posts with them. i find i don’t care about anything related to it anymore. and since that was how this blog started i kinda just wanna. put that behind me. it was fun while it lasted (kind of…there’s more discourse in that fandom than any i’ve ever been in and it was exhausting) but i would like to move on. 

so, yes, i’ve started a new blog! i haven’t posted anything yet except for pretty much this is exact same post but shorter. it’ll be pretty much the same stuff as i post now, except maybe a bit more.

see, i have like. 5 blogs total. a mainblog with shit posts and unrelated stuff, a sideblog for aesthetic stuff, and then others with just other fandom stuff, including this one. i’m kinda sick of keeping track of every single blog and having sideblogs in general so (for now, anyways) i’m just gonna have the one mainblog and throw everything into that one. but…organized. with a very thorough tagging system. 

so it’ll be pretty much everything you get here, with just a little bit extra. 

i will not be deleting this blog. like i said, i’ve had it for 5 years and i am a very nostalgic person so i’d like to keep it to look back at sometimes. but i will not be using it anymore. i’ll stick a condensed version of this in my queue a few times so enough people can get the memo, but i will no longer be using it anymore.

thank you to everyone for following me and supporting me for however long you have! i hope you continue to in my new blog, but don’t feel obligated lmao.
