Do you have a favorite Sonic character and can you draw them?

It's definitely recency bias, but I really like Trip. I really hope they bring her back in future games, especially her unique form. It's just a shame her campaign was maybe the most frustrating experience I've had in a Sonic game ever.

hey ac, do you have any adivce for world building/ wirting a story? like do you do the world building first or write the story first? also love reading your wedcomic it is inspiring me to work and finish my stories haha thank you

I'm glad to be a source of inspiration!

World Building only really matters as much as you want it to be important to the story. There's plenty of stories out there where there isn't too much explained about the world or what's going on, or how the technology or varying species work, and they still turn out great reads. But in turn, some stories are really good and have tons of world building, giving a glimpse at a deeper history or events going on beyond the scope of the story.

In my own case with Nosolus, it came from taking varying ideas and concepts I had, all disconnect originally, and seeing how I can piece them together into something believable. From there, I tried to build a story around it, and then started to develop the world more as I built the story up. It was sort of having both hand in hand, almost.

However, I also have another written story I'm working on, where it's a lot more focused on the focal character and whats happening around her, with not too much focus on expanding on the world she's in. So really it comes down to what you find important in your story; what you're trying to accomplish with it.

It might be good to have some idea for your story first, only so you can have an end goal or path to follow for it. But dont let it restrict you either; your ideas and goal posts for the story can shift as you develop things, and can either be shrunk to make it more contained, or expanded to widen its scope more.
