Block-By-Block Guide to ADAA September Exhibitions in Chelsea: From Solo Exhibitions of New Work by Kara Walker and Chris Ofili to Major Surveys of the WPA and Arte Povera
This September brings new arrivals to Chelsea (Washburn Gallery, Laurence Miller Gallery and Nohra Haime Gallery have moved down from Midtown), provocative solo exhibitions for art world luminaries—Polly Apfelbaum at Alexander Gray, Chris Ofili at David Zwirner, Kara Walker at Sikkemma Jenkins & Co.—and important historical surveys, including one on Italy’s Arte Povera movement at Hauser & Wirth and another on the U.S.’s  Works Progress Administration at Washburn Gallery.
Check out our full block-by-block list of ADAA exhibitions (with opening dates) below and click here for a printable PDF of the list to take with you.
