ABC News announced today special coverage of the 2024 presidential election on Super Tuesday. “World News Tonight” anchor and managing editor David Muir leads the network’s coverage of the voting results, issues, candidates and campaigns. ABC News Live, ABC News’ 24/7 streaming network, will kick off coverage Tuesday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m. EST, anchored by ABC News Live “Prime” anchor, Linsey Davis, which will be combined with and lead into coverage on ABC at 10 p.m. EST.
Muir will be joined by ABC News’ powerhouse political team, including Davis; chief global affairscorrespondent and “This Week” co-anchor Martha Raddatz; chief Washington correspondent and “This Week” co-anchor Jonathan Karl;chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce; senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott from Trump HQ in Florida; correspondent Alex Presha from the trail in South Carolina; chief national correspondent Matt Gutman; senior national correspondent Terry Moran; senior White House correspondent Selina Wang;political director Rick Klein; deputy political director Averi Harper; White House correspondent MaryAlice Parks; correspondents Aaron Katersky, Mola Lenghi,Elizabeth Schulze,and Mireya Villarreal;executive editorial producer John Santucci; senior Washington reporter Devin Dwyer; senior reporter Katherine Faulders; and multiplatform reporter Jay O’Brien. Contributors Dan Abrams, Donna Brazile, John Katko, Reince Priebus,and Kate Shaw will provide analysis across platforms. “Nightline” will air special content and features surrounding Super Tuesday. Co-anchor Juju Chang will anchor live from New York and will be joined by an ABC News political powerhouse team, including Scott, Gutman, Klein and more.
“The View” welcomes Davis to the Hot Topics table on Super Tuesday, and Karl joins the show the following morning to discuss the results.
ABC News Digital will have a 538-led live blog reporting on what to watch for on Super Tuesday and why it matters. Topics also include analysis of polling data surrounding Nikki Haley’s presidential chances, notable races in Texas, a California Senate primary preview and more. On the night of the race, ABC News Digital will have 16 state result pages updated constantly, exit poll analysis, key takeaways and commentary from our ABC News and 538 political team.
“Start Here,” ABC News’ flagship daily news podcast, will feature special coverage and analysis of Super Tuesday with host Brad Mielke and ABC’s powerhouse political team.
ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, will be reporting from Washington with ABC News multiplatform reporter Perry Russom. Klein will also be offering an analysis of the results for ABC stations. NewsOne provides news content and services for more than 200 ABC affiliates and international news partners.

Previews of the Interview Will Air and Stream Across ABC News Programs and Platforms Beginning Monday, Jan. 15
Today, ABC News announced an exclusive interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, the day of the Iowa caucuses. Chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce is traveling with the Vice President for day-in-the-life access on Air Force Two to Columbia, South Carolina. Bruce was alongside the Vice President as she delivered a speech on Martin Luther King Jr. Day from the steps of the South Carolina State House and for additional stops to meet voters in the key battleground state.
The interview will first stream on ABC News Live “Prime with Linsey Davis” on Tuesday, Jan. 16, and previews will air and stream across ABC News programs and platforms beginning today, Monday, Jan. 15.
On Wednesday, Jan. 17, Vice President Harris will make her seventh appearance on “The View,” with all six co-hosts, and hersecond visit in her current role.
ABC News Live “Prime with Linsey Davis” streams Monday through Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EST. “The View” airs Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST.
ABC News will cover results from the Iowa caucuses with its powerhouse political team on Monday, Jan. 15. On Thursday, Jan. 18, at 9:00 p.m. EST, “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and ABC News Live “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis will moderate the ABC News and WMUR-TV Republican presidential primary debate at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. “This Week” co-anchor and chief global affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz, “This Week” co-anchor and chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl, and WMUR-TV political director Adam Sexton will also join the debate broadcast.

‘GMA’ Increases Viewership Over Previous Week in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49, 2nd Highest of the Season

“Good Morning America” averaged 3.097 million Total Viewers, 642,000 Adults 25-54 and 422,000 Adults 18-49 for the week of Nov. 20, 2023, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.  
“GMA” saw gains over the previous week in Adults 25-54 (+6% - 642,000 vs. 605,000) and Adults 18-49 (+6% - 422,000 vs. 399,000).  In fact, “GMA” delivered 7-week highs (since w/o 10/9/23) with its 2nd -best numbers of the season. 
Season to date, “GMA” (3.054 million) is ranking as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers for the 12th straight year — since the 2012-2013 season. “GMA” is leading NBC’s “Today” (2.829 million) by 225,000. 
During the week, “GMA” (3.097 million, 642,000 and 422,000, respectively) beat “CBS Mornings” (2.358 million, 447,000 and 273,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+739,000), Adults 25-54 (+195,000) and Adults 18-49 (+49,000). 
NOTE: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, “Good Morning America” was retitled to “GMA-ABC” on Wednesday and was coded as a special on Thursday and Friday.  In addition, CBS Mornings” was coded as specials from Wednesday through Friday, and NBC’s “Today”  was coded as specials on   Wednesday and Friday.  All retitled and specialed telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. ABC’s and CBS’ weekly averages are based on two days (Monday-Tuesday), while NBC’s weekly averages are based on three days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).

“World News Tonight” is ranking No. 1 in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 for the 5th consecutive season. “World News Tonight” is leading NBC in Adults 25-54 (+52,000 – 1.116 million vs. 1.064 million) and in Adults 18-49 (+42,000 – 767,000 vs. 725,000). In addition, “World News Tonight” is leading “CBS Evening News” (687,000 and 457,000, respectively) by 429,000 Adults 25-54 and by 310,000 Adults 18-49.
For the week, “World News Tonight” (8.177 million, 1.125 million and 855,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Evening News”(4.955 million, 686,000 and 499,000, respectively) by 3.222 Total Viewers, by 439,000 Adults 25-54 and by 356,000 Adults 18-49.
NOTE: On Monday (11/20/23), “World News Tonight” was retitled to “WNT-ABC” due to “Monday Night Football.” On Wednesday (11/22/23) and Thursday (11/23/23), “World News Tonight,” “CBS Evening News” and “NBC Nightly News” were coded as specials due to the Thanksgiving holiday. In addition, “World News Tonight” and “CBS Evening News” were preempted on Friday (11/24/23) due to college football. ABC’s weekly averages are based on one day (Tuesday), CBS’ weekly averages are based on two days (Monday-Tuesday), and NBC’s weekly averages are based on three days (Monday, Tuesday and Friday).
ABC’s “World News Tonight with David Muir” airs 6:30-7:00 p.m. EST on ABC. Almin Karamehmedovic is the senior executive producer of the broadcast.
