Her hair was relaxed and ready to go, so I weaved it up with lots of amazing bundles of hair. I packed the hair in keeping the tracks close but not doing a full closure. Can you believe this is all my clients hair. She is giving some mermaid 🧜‍♀️ hair realness and I’m in love with it. This look took about 4 hours in total and every second was worth while. Some hairstylist cringe when they see so much hair but I just go into zen mode when I do my micro highlights, it’s so relaxing. Is there anything you do that makes you feel relaxed and takes you away for a moment?? For my hair fairies 🧚‍♂️ here is the formula My lovely client has a base of a 7/8 dark blonde. I did a full head, back to back of micro highlights. Once developed I did a balayage cleanse on the ends at the basin then I toned for 20 mins. Micro Highlights: Blonde Me Lightner and 10 vol underneath. Side and top sections where applied with Lightner and 20 vol. Balayage Cleanse: Blonde Me Lightner and 20 vol on wet hair on the ends. Why can’t my Mature ladies have Long hair?? There is a misconception that ladies in their 50s, 60s and 70s + can’t have long hair but I’m sorry world I completely disagree. The right haircut and color is key and creating that shape that’s needed to frame and contour is super important but this makes it possible for any fine wine to wear their long if they want. I’m sick of people telling women they can’t have certain styles or colours when they hit a certain age. Let’s celebrate and talk about the right cut and color for every face shape and not for every year we add onto our clock. For all my lovely hair fairies 🧚‍♂️ here is my color formula! My clients base color on the top is section is completely white but the back and sides sit at a level 5/6. I start my root application at the top and then work my way through the rest of the hair. The lengths are brushed with a soft balayage and then toned at the basin. Roots: Schwazkopf TBH 30g 906, 30g 9.49 and 30g of oil developer. This was some fun hair to work with and hell yeah she shines bright like a 💎. @voula_makeupartist you killed the makeup but I never expect any less. This is a simple flat iron wave sectioned neatly and the hair wave directed in the same way. The frontal hair section is pushed and swooped down to give that 50/60s vibe and clipped with a very stylish barrette. A little back combing at the crown and separation of the curl with a wide tooth comb does the job. I ❤️ a natural butter blonde that pops. My client @phillipaflynn wanted a natural look with pops of cool and buttery blondes just to give her an edge. The cut and style was worked out by @mclaughlife who I think killed it. For all my hair fairies 🧚‍♂️ here is the formula My client started of with a natural base level 7 We applied a Balayage with Blonde Me Lightener and 20vol in a classic V pattern and smudged the lightener until my lines where softened out completely. I covered in wrap and let sit for 25mins until it reached a clean 9/10 I toned at the basin with TBH 1019 for 20mins at the basin with equal parts of 7% and Tone Softener. Toned with 30 grams Schwarzkof TBH with equal parts of developer and Tone Softener and left for 20 mins on damp hair. This was a road that was worth travelling when trying to get the perfect blonde for, believe it or not my red headed client. Getting to a platinum blonde isn’t easy especially when keeping the hair in excellent condition. The right products are key and I’m about to share them my beautiful hair fairies 🧚‍♀️. Starting at a natural level 7 with copper undertones. Formula: Blonde Me Lightener with 20vol at the root Blonde Me Lightener with 7vol with equal parts water on the ends which were lightened in a previous session. Left to develop for 25mins under wrap Toned at the basin on Damo hair with the amazing new color line from @schwarzkopfusa TBH 1019 with equal parts developer and tone softener. Left for 20mins. Then the hair was treated with my favourite ritual BC Fibre Clinix with the Repair booster for 20mins. So many of my grey haired beauties ask me how to enhance their natural grey hair and add lots of dimension without having a color commitment. Well here you go ladies this is a full head of Balayage with multidimensional tones on grey hair. I created white and darker tones through this natural grey to add pops of strong bold whites in conjunction with deeper lowlights. This is a create way to add a bit of animation to dull grey.
