a quick goodbye

but not forever 

i’m writing this in my bed after taking a week off social media. it made me realize that i’m not taking good care of this blog or any account i have signed up on the internet. for this reason, and many others that are far way more personal, i’m leaving @a-media-student so i can create another blog here and be more close with all of you.

i gotta thank all the beautiful individuals i’ve met here. you’ve been the kindest and most attentive even though i was barely active because real life sometimes does that to you. to all of you, who replied to my rambles in the middle of the night, thanks for giving me love. i won’t forget it.

if you’re still interested in knowing where or when the new blog will be ready, follow @moontigr for any updates. it’s barely new but i feel more comfortable there since i put it more care and thought.

Despite being really quite ill this past week I’ve managed to keep with my studies, so I’m quite proud of myself for that! here are some biology notes from the other day. really happy that schools finished now (in australia) meaning i have six weeks to study and get ahead on my syllabus. also plenty of time for relaxing!

my brother and i just switched rooms and it’s being tiring with moving all the furniture and decluttering, but it’s so refreshing having a new place to study in 😌

important life lessons a series of unfortunate events taught me a child:

life is scary

life is unfair

life is a conundrum of esoterica

question authority figures, especially when you know they’re wrong

cherish the authority figures who respect and care for you

some adults will take the word of other adults over a child’s and it isn’t fair and you must find a way around it

some adults do not like when a child knows even a little bit more than them

the best adults are ones who see a child’s intelligence and curiosity and, rather than being threatened, encourage them to dig deeper and learn more

the best adults are the ones who listen

loved ones will die and it’s okay to mourn

the death of a loved one will leave a gaping hole in your heart that will seem unfillable, but that’s just how life is and that’s okay too

life will hurt you but you must keep going

don’t trust those who despise education

wicked people often do not read

wicked people will do wicked things and sometimes, many times, get away with their crimes
