Ticci Toby x Reader "Memento"

Toby was always a loner type of guy, he was quiet and he found peace in little things, but the fact of always being alone was killing him and breaking his heart to little pieces.

It was raining, the clock on Toby's old watch showed him it is 01:00 in the morning and he was getting back to his apartment after "mission". This night he didn't drove a car, he walked to his small apartment, but what he didn't know it will be the longest night of his life. The whole walk to his home all he could think about was him becoming "monster" and how he will never be able to have "life". He never thought he would be so odd from other people, that they will treat him just like in past. "Fuck it's starting to rain" he said the worst feeling in him has come up to his mind, Lyra. Something about the rain made him so peaceful just as if she was there. The day that his sister died there was huge storm and she couldn't control her car. "It's so peaceful." He said while talking to himself, "I just wish to be at peace and not kill people who didn't deserve it, I'm sorry Lyra just let me be with you again, take me with you", the voices in his head were louder and louder as they kept blaming him for her death. Nobody was there, nobody could hear him or help him the streets were dark, the wind was blowing and rain was slowly falling on his old hoodie few cars passed by but rarely, no one was paying attention to Toby. Soon he made it to his apartment: dark, messy and small place for him that was enough to be honest better then home he had in past Toby slowly walked to his sofa not taking clothes off he sighed and sat down and said "I just wish I could be the same, I wish..."

My note while writing this: I almost cried while writing this but fr, mostly because I relate to him alot and I do have a lot of problems, but no human should be left out, no matter how bad they messed up there is always hope, the little piece of light in dark days

BUT dont get me wrong he isnt that soft, if you fucked up you fucked up and he can murder you anytime

He could feel shivers down his spine as he replied "I just thought it would be nice idea for us to get to know each other better, I mean you to get to know me better. You liked idea to get to know Toby better, he was so different from others or so he seemed to you, and you liked him just never had chance to say it to him. You got in Toby's car which seemed pretty old but it was nice he gave you ride to his home, he even turned on music for you on his radio. You could see him smiling while listening to lyrics. You knew that song really well and you couldn't help but to smile too. You had no idea how much your smile helped him with everything. It was almost midnight as you two got to the apartment, Toby grabbed the keys and unlocked it. It wasn't really what you were expecting from him, it was oddly messy and had few stuff broken on the floor like vases and plates. "Something wrong y/n?" Toby asked nervously. "Uh sorry no, I just thought about something." You lied to him. "I know it isn't much but its enough of place to stay for me at least." Toby said and you were on your way to sit on his couch. You got nervous and you asked him "What was it you were going to tell me Toby? What do I don't know about you?" You almost knew nothing. "Well aren't you impatient one aren't you y/n?" You kept quiet at that point. He made his way on the couch to sit next to you. "You know I trust you y/n, you won't betray me, will you?" You were slowly starting to be scared off by him. "What do you want to say?..." He hesitated to say it at first beacause he knew you wouldn't trust him or even worse call the police.

"Y/n... I have another job. I am a proxy.." you were confused at first "What the fuck is proxy Toby??" he got annoyed and said "Let me finish first." "When I am not making money to stay in my apartment I'm working for another person...Well entity. I kill for it. And I'm not the only one there are lots of other proxies out there. And if they hear I told it to someone I will end up being dead. You almost passed out while hearing those words. "So youre going to kill me Toby??" he sighed and said "Hopefully not if you aren't snitch." Now you were so done here. You didn't belive him until he started to speak more and more about how terrible other proxies are and what they do to him ih he dares to disobey Slenderman's orders. You were scared for your own safety at this point and you said you wanted to leave and go home. You were so wrong. "You. Are. Not. Going. Anywhere." It was end of you at that point, he threw you back at couch and held your hand so tight it hurted, you could even feel his hands twiching.

Suddendly he had to do something to break your silence. "I am not that bad y/n, I am just like you but im troubled person. It was always like this, please stay with me here..." At that point you honestly felt bad for him and almost shed a tear though it wasn't fair of him not to letting you go. Well it seems like you were going to stay night there with him. With a troubled killer. It was getting pretty late and you two had to work next day and you two couldn't do nothing else but to go to sleep. You could feel him hugging you as you two were falling asleep as he said "Goodnight my love."

It was another day for Toby, he woke up alone in his apartment to rain falling down at his windows. He kept thinking about everything that was going on at that point, his life, family and future plans. He knew he was alone at that point, no one to be there for him, if there was someone to be there with him there he thought for himself why did he have to be like this, all alone?

He went closer to the window and kept looking outside at rain falling down and cars passing by, he couldn't belive time has flew by so fast and that he has become like this, from a good child to a grown up man, so many thoughts have been passing by at that time, he thought about everything while looking at rain outside. Cold wind whistled past you as you kept yourself as hidden in the shadows as possible. You couldn’t let any of the other proxies see you sneaking around like this. By other proxies you really only meant Hoody and Masky. You and Toby had been sneaking around and seeing each other for weeks now. Your face turned a crimson red as you remembered all the escapades you two had shared. Your feet glided along the familiar winding stone path. At the end stood your lover, nervously clutching a fist full of flowers. You made your way towards Toby and grinned, kissing his cheek and looking down at the flowers ``are those for me?” you looked up at him.
