Warnings: Parental abandonment

Alabaster sighed slightly, leaning on alley wall. In that moment, he couldn't hear anything except for silence. That is until, someone called his name, bringing him back to reality. The voice, soft, yet powerful - it was oddly enchanting, Alabaster thought. It was none other than, Y/N, one of his closest friends. Without saying a word, they walked up to Alabaster's side.

"You look stressed, Alabaster," They said. "Would you like a hug?"

"I'd like to." Murmured the son of Hecate.

If Alabaster was claimed, Y/N wasn’t, even after the battle of Manhattan where the Gods had sworn to claim their children as soon as possible and that hit hard; it was worst than anything.

Maybe Y/N's godly parent were too ashamed of them or they had forgetten about Y/N's existence; which was worst. Y/N and Alabaster had been roaming alone between two States since their banishment from CHB.

The rain was pouring and they were both soaked. He wrapped his arm around Y/N's shoulders, which was shiviring.

"We'll stay together right?" Asked Alabaster. "You won't back to Camp Half-Blood?" He said genuinely worried Sasha might leave him.

"I won't leave you, never... I would rather not go back to Camp." Mumbled Y/N.

I also have a few noticeable scars, don’t like them but the stories can be interesting. Personality: Im an entj, he/she (male/female bigender), bi. I’m social, hardworking, brave, optimistic, ambitious, motivated. People tend to get frustrated with how closed off I can be. I’m careful with my words and I don’t talk about my life if I don’t need to. Actually, I’m not very honest at all, though if I care about someone it can change. I see it as valuing my privacy and looking after myself. Romance is a nice concept, love the books, but I tend to dodge all attempts people make at forming relationships. And the amount of people who see friendship w me as a degrading means to an end made me a tad cynical about it. Doesn’t mean I don’t like the occasional flirt though. In the right company I like to make friends laugh, unwind, be the life of the party. Doctors said I don’t have empathy and show many sights of npd. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, but it’s a part of me. I still can be decent to friends (where empathy fails I still have common sense). Honestly,I’m softer than I’d like to admit. I get on with kids nicely and I’d like a few on my own when I grow up. I’m protective of my family, my older brothers mean the world to me. Another thing that’s important is my faith. I’m polytheistic and very religious (but I respect other beliefs). I like to befriend local animals too, in my free time. People call me stubborn, I’m the kind of person to push until I succeed, even if it hurts. Privately at least. In any kind of structure I know my place and I help the team/my boss/other superiors dutifully. I try not to be very emotional, but sometimes i fail. Usually I turn to anger, though I wouldn’t turn on my loved ones. I try to be fair in my actions. Many say I’m comforting, though I see myself more as a problem solver. And yeah, perhaps I am filled with (rightful) guilt about the loss of my close family member. But that’s mine to know and for others to never find out. I have shared more here than I did (or will) with anyone irl. In private I believe I can be a little funny and silly, nonchalant even. Also soft, as my friend calls it, ‘homely’. In the end, I did manage to fit myself into quite a list of friend groups so I’d like to believe I’m not too bad to hang around

My type: I’d like someone I could relate to. Someone who would understand my ambition and drive, my issues, inspire me to try harder, but also someone who would understand my anger (even if by enabling my worse parts). Willow is a good cuddler, with those big arms of hers, she’s clearly the big spoon. Not that bigger people with bigger arms can’t be the small spoon too, but that’s just not the case with Willow. She likes the idea that *she* is the one keeping you safe and protected when you cuddle with one another. Admittedly has a bit of a complex about having you protect her instead of the other way around. Cuddles with her are often, as she’s a very cuddly gal. It’s easy to fall asleep in her arms. Willow talks about mutual interests with her s/o, perhaps a new show you both like, even better if you watch it at the same time, together! It’s easier to talk about it with one another, but she may also complain about certain parts of her day, as her life can be pretty hectic. She likes talking to you about feelings and stuff, she believes that being open and honest with one another and having good communication in a relationship is an important thing and should be constant in your relationship. Mattholomule is such a sweet boyfriend I cannot, like idc. Even back when he was introduced he’d be a sweet boyfriend and he is so understanding. If you ever lied or didn’t anything bad, he would still be so understanding especially if you had good intentions or didn’t mean any harm. Like dude, y’all are lumity 2.0 I take no criticism and he’s the amity. (He even has an annoying older sibling.. who he adores). He is often extremely red in the face because of you, and he totally thinks you’re super cool when you’re fighting and being all badass lol. He is just in awe of you all the time, and if you’re in a different coven track than he is he would probably start taking that track just to be around you lol. He’s not overly physically affectionate, he likes holding your hand and that’s the most pda he really needs (but certainly won’t mind if you give him a bit more). He’s forgiving, too forgiving. It can open him up to have a toxic relationship because of it. (I mean, just look at how he was treated by the glandus kids). He tries to be patient, and whilst he’s a brat to others he would be such a sweetheart around you. He would be his best self when you’re around. He could be the biggest jerk in the universe but the moment you show up he’s all nice. He can’t help it, he’s got a soft spot for you. He is also genuinely a nerd with you, like when you say yes to a date he gets all excited and does a fist pump in the air when he thinks you’re not looking. Overall he’s super sweet, love him.

Here’s a concept, amity doesn’t wanna be a vampire, she is into them and Luz is just a dumb goofy vampire or smth 🤭 amity does have the vampire vibe tho too 😁 anyways I don’t mind stuff like this I suppose I just don’t want to feel like I’m writing somebody’s oc or something so specific (like what they look like, and yada yada, but if you were to ask me “can you write a character with a personality like Anne boonchuy” that’s fine. Lilith isn’t one for romantic relationships, so she can’t say she’s an expert on the matter. She never cared to have a romantic relationship and still does not, however she has many platonic relationships with others and is able to recognize that isn’t the most healthy way to deal with a relationship. Giving you a compliment is a normal part of a relationship and you should not bend over backwards for the person doing something so simple. She doesn’t push you to change, but she advises you take small steps because it is very easy to be taken advantage of.

Luz doesn’t really get it personally, she does understand wanting to do a lot for somebody, she does kind things for people constantly. But she doesn’t really want you to do so so so much for her, it’s just like?? She’s nice?? Let her do nice things!! She doesn’t need anything in return!!

Amity on the other hand completely understands, she doesn’t feel deserving of anyones kindness. Or that’s how she felt for a long time and while she still feels that way the feeling has faded a bit and she feels a lot better about things. You don’t need to do anything for her, it’s not like she did it cause she expected something in return, she did it cause she wanted to.

Hunter is also very understanding, given how he was raised. In fact, he would probably treat your relationship as such as well and not see much of an issue until Eda or Darius commented on the matter and tried to help you both out. But hey, if it works for you both and you can keep a healthy and stable relationship then why not?

Willow constantly reminds you she does not need you to do anything back for her when she does things she considers to be normal, she adores you and just wants you to know how great you are!! It’s not a big deal! She gets angry about it sometimes, cause in her mind it’s like you feel you don’t deserve it unless you do something crazy for her. But you do deserve it!!

I may b wrong abt the last thing u rq I’m half asleep so whoops

“Reader is ghosting [character] because their guardian believes their friends r not good for them and they want their guardians approval and love but the guardian still doesn’t provide that love even after everything reader does for them so they end up seeing [character] again” basically was the rq .

You may find boscha isn’t the most forgiving when you ghost her, given her personality it’s inevitable you will at some point. Or that’s what’s she thinks. She’s pretty mad at you, when you tell her what’s going on though she decides to give you a bit of a break since you do have a reason (and it’s a pretty good one). But she’s pretty blunt and tells you that your guardian wouldn’t have loved you regardless.

Matt doesn’t hold it against you too much, but he is very upset by you ghosting him and he will approach you anytime he finds you in public or at school and he will absolutely be the type to yell at you and run at you. It’s kinda embarrassing since it’s usually something like “hey!!! Y/n!! Why haven’t you returned my calls?!” but he will be understanding in the end, just wishes you told him upfront.

Willow is pretty upset by it, she isn’t sure how to approach the situation at first. In the end, she ends up blaming herself. It all goes back to when she was young and why amity had to leave her too and she just feels like she’s reliving it all over again. She will forgive you for ghosting her and given the circumstances she’s understanding but she needs some time to recover from that and needs reassurance you’ll be more honest with her next time.

hello again. hhhh same reader from the previous ask. uhm. reader hears from their guardian that they r dissapointed, the guardian might not want them as a kid bc they rnt trying hard enough. and the reader tries to make them happy. they do a lot of bad stuff (cutting off their "bad" friends, only being worried abt their own success n gain) but at the end of the day they find that it just caused their peers to dislike them and their guardian still doesn't like them. and they go to hunter (or lumity, or both - ur choice) to finally tell him what's going on with them/ask what else they could do

It’s likely hunter is one of the friends you tried to cut off, I think he’d feel a bit upset but he’d understand at the same time. He knows he’s not the best, he knows Belos is feared and therefor he is too. However, when you finally come to him and tell him what’s happening, he’s at a loss. He won’t be able to provide you with that whole “you don’t need to please them” shit, cause he goes through this with Belos. He probably tries to come up with different ways to get your guardian to like you, and when all else fails tells you that he could never be disappointed in you.

Amity is much more self aware now, she completely understands and doesn’t hold a grudge for you kinda dropping her. She knew something was wrong, this gives her deja vu actually, with how she treated Willow when they were young. She tells you that sometimes, you don’t always need to find the approval of others. Sometimes, no matter what you do you may never be enough. And when you realize that. You’ll realize you don’t deserve a toxic person like that in your life. Because at the end of the day, they don’t love you, they love the idea of you.

Luz would push and pry, she will not take no for an answer and she will find out what’s going on and why you’re trying to ignore her. When she finds out the real reason she tries to also help you gain the approval of your guardian. She does everything she can, but when nothing works she gets angry. She decides that guardian is impossible to please, you don’t need somebody that awful in your life, do you? After all, it’s only going to make you miserable and tired and develop an unhealthy dynamic.

My least fav Homestuck character is tough! I love everyone .. mostly … probably doc scratch or bro tho . Since those r the only characters I don’t like <//3

Hunter is likely to not like egotistical or narcissistic people as much, but I think it would moreso a .. when ur acting confident he just rolls his eyes about it, and probably fights with you regularly. Think about how Amity and Hunter interact, it’d be like that, maybe a little worse due to your narcissism. However, when you go to him and tell him that you are aware that your not the best person at times, he’s impressed. Hunter is used to being treated badly by those around him, Hunter is used to thinking he needs to do better or it’s just his fault. If you two are close, he may not even see a lot of your narcissistic tendencies, or that it’s even a bad thing. He just thinks you’re a bit overconfident at times and that’s it. However, if he likes you back, he’d tell you the same. That it’s probably better if you didn’t like him back either. He’d blame himself for you feeling like you’re not a good person, which certainly doesn’t make your situation any better. I think it’s very likely he’d like a narcissistic person, so long as you aren’t controlling and terrible to him. But even when you are, he may not see it as mistreatment. But, that doesn’t mean it can be healthy. Just don’t be mean to hunter, okay? 🙁

Hunter would get red in the face everytime! He’s not used to compliments, and people telling him such positive things about his appearance. He doesn’t have much confidence in his looks, part of the reason he often hides it (other than the fact people may not take him as seriously if they saw what he looked like). So you’ll always get the satisfaction of seeing his embarrassed expressions. It would as a result make him more confident and comfortable though!

Alador is pretty much entirely driven by his work, almost always creating something. The fact that the two of you are both ambitious and focused on your goals makes you a great pair for projects. He usually prefers to work alone, but since you’re so determined he’ll invite you to help him out every now and then. Not that he needs the help, he just likes being near you.

Not being a very emotional person, Alador isn’t really the type to comfort anyone. You don’t have to worry about being cooed at when something goes wrong. If he realizes you’re upset he’ll ask you what happened, ask what you want him to do, and then go do whatever it is you need. If you say you don’t want him to do anything, he’ll just nod and leave you be. He doesn’t expect you to sympathize with him either.

Getting Alador flustered is no easy task. He’s awfully distant and doesn’t express too much emotion, not being sure exactly how to react to most things. Giving him gifts is a pretty good way to fluster him, though. He rarely ever gets anything since he’s usually being pressured to make things for everyone else, so while he might not have a huge reaction, he will get a bit nervous and blushy if you gift him anything.

Alador NEEDS someone to rant to about his hobbies. Nobody ever takes an interest in what he likes, usually chalking him down as someone who just doesn’t wanna talk to anyone, but he desperately wants someone to care about what he has to say. Once you get him talking, you’d better get some snacks cause you’re gonna be there for a while.

You could definitely help Alador with his perfectionism. He feels like everything he does has to be amazing all the time, and thinks the way others treat him really locks it in. If you can reassure him that he’s doing just fine and no one has to get it right 100% of the time, he’ll be glued on to you. Your sweet words make him want to be with you forever.
