Informations about the second option

The gem is literally a second heart for the Termina, and a second circulatory system is attached to it which carries pure magic; when it is used the gem lights up, and veins and patterns appear on the subject's skin.

The colors are:

Light blue for ordinary people

Emerald green for people who serve the Gods

Gold for the guards and soldiers

Rainbow for the royalty

The colors change as the person moves up or down in rank The Gods also have Gems, but they are not like those of the Termina, that have simply oval and smooth gems; instead, they have various colors and shapes, and in them are contained, in addition to magic and vital energy, the weapons of the Gods.

But what would happen if at a Termina the gem broke? And what if the Gem of a God is broken?

The Termina's Gems are naturally very resilient, and they take great care of them, and soldiers often wear special armor.

But if the Gem were somehow broken, which is easier if the subject is sick, too young or old, the person would turn into stardust, dying in a few moments; but if the person was left with even a tiny fragment, there would be a few minutes to save them, even if it is considered an impossible thing.

On the contrary, the Gems of the Gods cannot be broken by mere mortals, but the other Gods can still do it, even if they would have to put superhuman strength to do it.

In that remote case the God would die, they would explode in a supernova; but if the gem were cracked the God would withdraw inside it, remaining imprisoned until it would have repaired itself, which could take up to over a millennium.

Kirby's diary

Here is Kirby's diary, which I mentioned in chapter 5 of my book "Fallen Starlight".

The cover is made mainly in Arcadium, commonly known as Oblivion's Gold, a very common material in Arcadia, while the part of the cover that appears to be filled with stars is a piece of subspace in which you can put small objects such as pens, pencils or post-it. (the same kind of magic as Meta Knight's Dimensional Cape).

The gems that adorn the cover of the diary were created with colors that remind the Gems of the Gods, even if these were artificially created and do not possess any magic, being purely decorative.

The last noteworthy thing about the diary is that its pages are able to create themselves as Kirby writes on them, becoming practically infinite.

The Major Events/Festivals of Dreamland!

Dreamland has some intresting events that caught the citiziens of all the planet, and sometimes the citiziens of other planets as well!

Arena: a place built in Dreamland where challenges of all kinds take place (mainly minibosses or holographic versions of the bosses fought during the adventure that Kirby has just finished are fought). It is not too hard, in fact it is considered a fun event

True Arena: arena in the skies where a hyper difficult boss rush takes place with few healing items. Kirby must participate because as the final boss there is always a Soul Boss; Magolor and Marx have traumatic experiences regarding that place, and no one knows who is running it or how they get the Soul Bosses.

Gourmet Race: multi-stage race where, you have to take as much food as possible while running; if you finish first, the score, consisting of how much food you have taken, receives a bonus. This tradition was created by King Dedede when he and Kirby were still enemies

Megaton Punch: five-year challenge of strength in which challengers must destroy a concrete block; the more the ground shakes, the better.

Copy Ability Exam: is an exam held every year in which Sir Meta Knight tests Kirby by choosing 5 Copy Abilities to test and letting his student choose as many. At first the event was closed to the public, with only Meta Knight and Capitan Vul as spectators, but it eventually became such a popular event that it is now held at the Arena.

The energies of Harmony

In the universe there are eight types of magical energy, corresponding to eight gems guarded by as many Gods, called "Keepers".

the eight energies are divided into two categories, equal and opposite to the others; there are the White energies, which include Light, Soul, Dream and Heart, and there are the Black energies, which are Dark, Body, Nightmare and Mind

Every living being is a mixture of these eight energies, but there is a huge difference between beings:

Imagine that every living being is located on some kind of bar;

If you have more White energy you are located towards an opposite, while if you have more Black energy you are on the opposite side

The more you are at the limit, or the more you are in the center, the more powerful you are.

There are certain beings, which are a perfect mix of the eight Energies, called Astral Beings.

The Astral Beings are the Star Warriors, the Gods and some ancient Royals of the Ancients of Halcandra, Termina and Kiridian.

And in the wake of the Astral Beings, two things could arise: great peace or great destruction.

In all of history there has been only one Astral Being who was a perfect mix of the eight energies, a being able to create and use an artifact of immense powers, the only weapon capable of defeating Dark Lords and Arcane Gods.

Unfortunately this Astral Being died trying to seal one of those Dark Lords, and the weapon was broken into two fragments.

But his legacy has not been completely lost...

The Termina and Arcadia

The Termina have a kind of second circulatory system in which pure magic flows. When a Termina uses that magic, the "veins" carrying the magic light up.

Colors vary by the type of person using magic:

Light blue for normal people

Emerald green for the priests

Golden for the various guards

Rainbow for royalty

if a civilian changes status (for example from citizen to guard or priest) a rite is performed where the type of magic of the person in question is changed, to agree to the new role in society.

Arcadia was the dimension where the Termina lived, and it was developed on four floors:

The first floor, the bottom one, was covered with luxuriant forests and was full of mines from which the precious Arcadium, a material used for many things, was extracted; also in that floor there were the homes of civilians, arranged in various cities of different styles (from the most medieval to the most modern)

The second floor was where the library, factories and laboratories were located, and was made up of small floating islands; objects made with Arcadium and other materials were created in it, new forms of magic and new parts of the Universe were sought, and various information was placed in the Great Library, the central building.

The third floor was that of the Royal Palace and the seven Temples, which were built on eight strange floating islands made entirely of crystal of a thousand colors, connected with bridges buildt with Arcadium

The fourth floor is the most mysterious, being a kind of huge island of purplish crystal; no one knows what it is for, and there is no information of any kind
