Whatever he is up to, this ‘revenge against Dr. Eggman’ he is planning, he certainly is doing his best to play along with the ‘team dynamic’... held together by stitches as flimsy as they come, converged in a moment of mere necessity, with no talk of organization beforehand.

      All that is to be known is that, indeed, as the platypus once stated, Zavok himself is to spearhead the group. If they want to cause mindless property damage of all sorts, so be it. Whatever keeps these brutes pacified.

      “There is much we can do in such little time. As it stands, one facility has already fallen. Many will follow. With the Eggman flunky’s intel concerning most of the ‘good doctor’s structural inner workings, we know precisely where to strike.”

      The behemoth cracked his knuckles, facing towards the horizon beyond. “We must strike communication centers, barracks, foundations of morale. Anything that may cause widespread chaos and disconnect as many operatives from this ‘Eggnet’ as possible. It is certainly a good thing that you came along. Only the strongest and the most resilient will survive.”

Like a bullet she shot out of the automatic door leading to her bedroom. From where Zavok was that would be the door to the far left that was under the stairs. What he saw was what looked to be a human girl wearing strange clothes. Purple clothes/top hat, yellow cape, brown boots, while holding out an blue umbrella with a star pattern placed upon it. She pointed said umbrella towards the zeti. Her expression one of determination against a threat.

“Hey! You can’t intrude on people’s homes like this! State your business!”

She was going to play it serious until she knew what she was dealing with. When the deaths started happening and she knew more of her enemy would she be more jovial like she normally was. A big brute like this was going to be trouble Hatty knew it. This wasn’t her first time dealing with invaders. Many had tried to attack her before, in order to steal the precious Time Pieces. For with them time itself could be bent to the will of those using them. It was a dangerous power that shouldn’t fall into the hands of evil people.

This was a day in the office for her. Sad as that might be…

      Resistance. It always comes. It never succeeds.

      It was clear that this intruder had little to no regard for the structural integrity of this vessel, for what interest he had in it remained placated by the possibility of not finding anything worth taking. But Zavok knew better than that. He knew better than to risk his luck, picking at the remains of a smoldering wreckage only to scrounge up duds and useless materials.       This is a matter that required direct intervention. Deep inside, the sense of a few powerful artifacts being stored away here practically wailed in his ears like cathedral bells. A Zeti’s destructive curiosity is perhaps their strongest liability... but nothing if not their strongest suit.

      Then, someone addressed him directly.       At long last, someone who feared not to stand up to him. Part of him hoped it was legitimate bravery, and not merely an underestimation of his fighting prowess.       The fray lasts for longer that way.

      The hulking monstrosity turned to face Hatty, wordless in his endeavors and towards her requests, however bearing a look that expressed one single sentiment. One of murderous intent, of an innate numbness to the greater suffering of his opponents, of fearlessness in the shadow of death and destruction.

      ‘Defy me. See what happens.’

There was a large grin as he listened to Zavok speak, his eyes narrowing dangerously. Their pack leader always knew the right words to make his bloodlust spark. If anything, it had always been Zavok and Zor that groomed it the most. At the mention of a certain scientist, there was a hysteric cackle coming out of him. Oh, how he wished to get his claws on Eggman after what he’s done to them.

“Eggman, huh?” His tongue gave a flick, placing itself sideways. “I’ve been ITCHING for payback and rip his mustache out - and that’s still being generous - there are thousand of ways to make an omlett.” 

      There’s nothing that can feed into a Zeti’s primal instincts more than the promise of a good-- no, a great hunt, followed by basking in the spoils of the ensuing war. As a natural born leader, it was Zavok’s initiative that had brought them this far. And what will bring them even farther, once they have fully regrouped and organized themselves.

      “That there are, my friend. I do not make empty threats... or empty promises, and I certainly hope that your skills have not grown rusty over time. Our plans demand someone with all the eagerness and brutality only the finest of our species can display.”

      An invasion on Mobius? More likely than one would think. Of course, they could certainly utilize some form of opening, an opportunity to strike. The subterfuge and manipulation it will take to get one of Eggman’s very own cohorts to give them just that, that’s their ace in the sleeve that will facilitate their victory. Say, that one platypus lapdog...       “Find the rest of the Deadly Six. Today shall be a red letter day. Red with the blood of our foes.”

      “That is hard to say. But, now that I think about it... at one point, when engaging in a labyrinth run to prove my worth as a Zeti champion, I was caught in a pitfall trap. I broke my ribs and almost lost an arm.       Of course, once I had completed the course, I personally tracked down and executed the architect responsible for it. It was worth it.”
