hello! i’m eb, nice to meet you all! so yeah i was technically here but missed out because work happened and life happened but that’s beside the point! i am here now and i am very much ready to do this. meet my sweet lady jioh, the owner of bom teahouse and cafe, and a former(ish) lawyer. read under the cut to know more about her, like this post to receive a plotting message! my discord tag will be posted once i find my login, lol.

jioh is the eldest child in her family, and has one younger brother. she left yangwon to go to seoul to become a lawyer at a young age and was hired by a really good firm and became a really respected lawyer and eventually a partner. however, the head of the firm’s son took a liking to her and wanted to date- and eventually marry her, and the head agreed, but jioh refused. after that, she basically had a hard time at work with cases, getting help, and after she chose the leave the firm, she was blackballed and couldn’t find work in seoul. after dealing with all of that she decided to go back to yangwon and decided to open her own business and combine the traditional teahouse her grandparents founded with it. so she’s been in yangwon about a year! 

jioh is very sweet and kindhearted, and very much romantic in a sense? she’s known for being a bit of a matchmaker but she like never dates or she’s really good at keeping it a secret!

when she was in yangwon a lot of people thought she would marry early  and have kids so it was a shock when she left because she was somebody who truly loved being in yangwon

still consults on cases back in the city occasionally

is in the middle on the joja debate-she agrees innovation is needed because it’s how her business is run, but she still loves the quiet traditional living aspect 

used to visit yangwon often for vacation so she still knows a lot of people now that she lives there year round

subtly nosy (knows everything about everybody but who really knows much about her?)

very very very bad at being nice once you’ve landed on her bad side, and she’ll let you know once she doesn’t like you

technically is still a licensed lawyer so she can totally go to court for stuff she just voluntarily quit her job

not good at taking advice

not good at taking orders period lol this is why she runs her own business

that is it i’m sorry please love her and care for her and ANGST! in the country!!!! i want many things
