I'VE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE FANFICTION! but i have zero clue how to start! i'm always shit at writing characters as themselves.

i wonder if i could write down a big list of 'rules' for the characters? it'd require combing through basically almost every action they take but it'd be the most accurate thing.

i'd be writing things to do with resident evil, since that's what i'm really into right now.

i wonder if i'd be able to write americans right though. i saw a post with like 10029818321 likes saying that they hate it when there's british spellings and slang in fanfiction but! i don't realise which words aren't used and which are! especially spellings! i had no clue americans spelt 'realise' as 'realize'!!!!

....and if i'm being honest, these people should be grateful for the work they're reading anyways, instead of wanting everything to cater to them. but that's too much to ask isn't it.
