SO TORI MUSE IS... NOT COOPERATING WITH ME...
I’ll get my drafts out when she decides she wants to write? I can’t seem to really muster anything right now. ;;; i’m so sorry.

Toriel’s eyes, reddened from weeping while on the move, seemed
caught between conflicting emotions. She wished to be angry for
the fear she’d been forced to endure, relieved for the fact that
nothing happened, and overjoyed that perhaps nothing bad need
come of this. Her body faint from fatigue, she slowly meandered her
way over to the two, momentarily ignoring Sans’ stammering to check
Flowey over for injury.
Her eyes confirmed what they had been telling her: he was fine,
there were no lies.
The challenge, then, was looking Sans in the eye after what he did.
For a number of reasons - more than simply the fear of him taking
her child away from her - was the hurt experienced from the fact he
refused to take anything she said as truth. He dismissed her words
as lies, and then abandoned her with the intent of ruining the last
chance she’d get at happiness with Asriel. What was left of Asriel,
anyway.
For the first time in their friendship she watched Sans walk away,
intending to never return. And at that point, she felt entirely lost with
the only choice left to her was to confront him if needed. Toriel came
expecting a fight, though fight she did not wish to do. Toriel, more
than anything else, was good at holding a grudge. She excelled at
being angry at someone far longer than they deserved. Though Sans
had ultimately not made good on his threats, the burning in her chest
did not want to forgive him for the mere suggestion of it.
It was uncomfortably familiar.
Her gaze was wordless, following Sans as it attempted to rationalize
the past hour. She could not bring herself to speak, fearing the words
that may fall from her lips. Instead she inhaled, hoping to steady her
breathing and calm her racing heart. She wasn’t able to tell if the
quivering of her limbs was a result of the dash towards the hill, or the
other mix of things she felt.
Finally she spoke, asking the one question that had been on her
mind throughout the ordeal:
* “Why do you not trust me?”
[ @undertale-tales ]
Flowey listened closely to Sans’ explanation. When he first said that he did something to Toriel, even Flowey began to look concerned, but as he went on with the story, he slowly began to understand the situation better, although he also realized what sort of hole that Sans dug himself. The only reason the hole isn’t as deep was because he was willing to listen and talk with the Flower rather than straight-up murder him.
“W-well.. gee. If you’re gonna just go against everything she says even when she’s pleading with you, of course she’s gonna be mad.”
And he also had a point. Toriel probably knew where they were. If She knew that Sans was going to find him, then she’d have known where Flowey has been this entire time. The place where he always is - the top of the hill, to watch the sunset. Of course, this time, if she were going to get here soon enough to stop anything, well… it’d have been far too late by now. But at least nothing happened so she had that going for her.
The Flower’s eyes tore away from Sans towards the figure moving along the hillside… it was a person. Flowey already knew who it was. A look of brief dread crossed his face - the dragon had arrived and not only did she look horribly winded and tired and aching, but she also looked angry and cautious- and for good reason. However, she seemed to lose a majority of her tension as soon as she realized that there was no fight, nor signs of struggle. Flowey would have normally offered a smile to try to ease her spirits but he couldn’t find it within himself to do it. Instead, out of the moment, he turned to Sans and whispered in a low tone so Toriel couldn’t hear;
“You’re in troubleeeee.”
That was all he could add to the situation at this point. He didn’t know what to say – at least, for the next few seconds after saying that, and then it struck him – he turned around to face the goat and speak abruptly.
“M-mom, I’m fine! I’m not hurt, everything’s okay.”
He wasn’t sure if what was said would calm the situation down that much. After all, he knew he wasn’t the one Toriel was upset at. Flowey could only hope that Sans can ease the dragon’s wrath before it explodes into fire.

a predicament, Sans? Were this
not such a completely
overwhelming number, I would
find this quite cute.”
*(help. me.)
He was practically begging now. Though he had doubt Toriel would know what to do.

* “O-Oh dear! I was not expecting
that.”
Toriel took a step back away from the strange animal. Perhaps it was
a monster she mistook for one of the domesticated surface animals?
But then it turned and looked remorseful, saying her name as though
it knew.
Actually... now that she got a good look at it, it did seem familiar. But
rather than make an assumption of who this one, she inquired:
* “You are... someone I know, are
you not?”

* “Yes, I thought it was a good
one, thank you.”
Toriel set the first of her pies down on the table. It was fresh and still
radiated some heat. Her other contributions - cookies she retrieved
from a bag at her side - were not quite as warm but it was clear she’d
gone on a bit of a baking spree before showing up at the Spider’s table.
* “Ah! I ah, I was not aware they
spoke of me. I would pass by
as I patrolled corridors. They
were kind and I sometimes
would buy from them to break
the monotony of my usual food.”
Even some of her favorites she could grow tired of if eaten in excess.
Thankfully the spiders always had a steady supply, though Toriel
wondered how they obtained the means to bake their goods.
* “It is my pleasure to help where
needed. I too dislike the idea of
the spiders being stuck in the Ruins...”
A donation for the Spider Bake Sale? This was the first time
someone had so openly offered to help them. The spiders had
mentioned the ruin keeper before, only speaking highly of her–
if not mentioning she appeared more lonely than anything.
They had mentioned she did appear to enjoy baking, and
perhaps this was a welcomed addition to help boost sales.
“ Oho~? I see! So you’re the ones my lovely
spiders spoke of! I must thank you then for
being such a good supporter of spiders. I
welcome the donation– ”
Muffet paused, scrunching her face a bit. Was that a pun? She
didn’t necessarily mind Puns, persay– so long as they weren’t
overused, she was more disappointed that she didn’t catch that
one sooner.
“ Ah– I just got your play on words, very clever~ ”

“What more does she want from
me? Is it not enough that I spend
every moment I breathe regretting
every decision I’ve ever made?
My best intentions killed a lot of
people. Do you honestly think I
am an inspiration anymore? My
people rebelled gladly, and
implanted a warrior in my stead.
They do not want me.
They would be glad to see me gone.
Do not lie to my face and tell me
otherwise.”
If it weren’t so endearing, this guard’s unfaltering optimism and faith
would be annoying. He seemed to deadset on pulling Toriel out of this
stupor she was apparently in... but the truth was that nothing would
make her feel better again. Toriel’s resolve was built upon a foundation
of stone, and let it be known to all that when she made a decision she
always followed through.
Her very being was conflicted, knowing that if she were to destroy the
door and disallow entrance of exit, she would rob her people of their
hope, their happiness, and the potential of their freedom. But she loathed
to think about the results of her handing souls over to Undyne. Eventually
they would break the barrier. Eventually more people would die, and she
suspected that even with Undyne’s power they monsters would fail in their
conquest.
Yet... any human that fell into the Underground would never leave, nor
go home. They would be trapped forever, until they aged and died. Toriel
would never follow them.
* “If I am to be any inspiration, it is to
be the villain of a fairy tale. I will
serve as a warning to children of
what not to be.”
Do not trust humans; do not be the Queen.
* “It is... better this way, if I stayed
here. But I thank you.”

* “That sounds lovely, Papyrus!
They’d be both pleased and
surprised, I’ll bet.”
Hm, if only she’d come prepared for something like that. Undyne was
simple: just use a fish shape. The others were a little more difficult.
How did one turn the concept of anime into a cookie? Or perhaps they
could make an experimental beaker? Would Sans like a ketchup-shaped
cookie, or would that be overdone?
Then again, she had access to his brother, and who knew Alphys
better than Undyne (who, again, could be probed by the taller skeleton.)
* “I have a few ideas for some of
our friends, in that case.”
Puzzle cookies? The thought was absolutely mind blowing. Why had the
thought never crossed his mind before? It was absolutely genius! He
could even plan out cute messages for everyone on them! It was such a
brilliant idea!
“ I LOVE THAT IDEA! IT’S ABSOLUTELY
PERFECT! EVERYONE WILL LOVE THEM
AND IT WILL KEEP THEM ALL SO
EXCITED TO EAT! ”
He exclaimed happily, mind already buzzing with excitement. Another
thought came to him too as he looked at Toriel. If they could make them
puzzles, could they go a step further?
“ TORIEL? COULD WE MAKE THE FINAL
PUZZLE IN THE SHAPE OF SOMETHING
THEY WOULD LIKE OR THEIR FACE OR
SOMETHING? ”

* “Yes, and pictures! These songs
used to tell stories. Many of them
were not quite lullabies or nursery
rhymes... they might as well have
had a book of their own.”
Toriel sat down in her favorite chair and placed the thick tome over
her knees. It was larger than most books, perhaps crafted to
accommodate the size of a boss monster. Her hands otherwise would
fumble with such an item.
He believed it. Meeting him a couple time during the multiple time lines. He truly would be and is a good friend. A shame that it’s only a memory now. Frisk shook off the sad thoughts and saw that she collected a dusty book
“Does that book have the songs?”
Like a nursery rhyme book? Maybe it was like a church book and held all the songs monster created and sang to each other or perhaps they were fairy tales? Either way he was very curious

Toriel steepled her fingers, elbows propped up on either arm of her
chair. She stared at nothing in particular, but her gaze seemed to go
right through the opening of her fingers. Asgore... he liked to act as
though he were the only one who felt anything after the accident.
He lost his heir but Toriel lost her son. On some level he was right.
It was about the only thing Toriel agreed with him on. His death was
her fault. The one thing she might have cared about in the world,
taken away due to her own foolishness.
She decided to not reply, until the doctor’s comment made her laugh.
* “Just kick them. They make a
satisfying noise.”
The Doctor Makes a House Call
Gaster couldn’t help but frown when Toriel mentioned Asgore. “Hrmph..well you were always the brains behind the throne anyways Toriel. I care little of what he thinks on the matter. You deserve much better than this” The doctor said, dismissing Asgore from the conversation completely. He and the king had a business relationship at best. Many times it was just a chore to deal with him.
“And yes the Froggits…half the time the vermin don’t even seem to know why they’re around. They just appear, and hop around in your way..” Gaster said in his typical dull and blunt tone.

(( I am so fucking angry right now. Angry, disappointed, and worried.
Whoever did this, I hope to whatever gods may or may not exist that you don’t follow me. I don’t want anything to do with people who feel the need to sent hate or threats or any of this negative bullshit to anyone.
There’s no excuse. ))

((If you’re the type of person that tells someone to go kill themselves and just spread hate all over them for absolutely no reason, you are the scum of this earth.))

* “I should know you, remember
you... but I don’t. I am sorry.”
Toriel wrung her hands together nervously. This man’s look was so
unique and unreal that, realistically, she could never forget such a
face. Yet, he knew her... but she couldn’t strain her mind enough to
find whatever memory she might have.
Slowly, Toriel held her paw out.
* “In that case, it is a pleasure to
meet you again, Gaster.”
*Gaster would have been surprised - To say the least - if anybody had remebered him. A side effect of having every trace of you violently torn from most planes of reality was having nobody knowing who you were. Save for… A special few. *The man held a soft smile, his eyes looking up to Toriel like one looks to an old friend. *“I am Doctor W.D. Gaster, a former Royal Scientist for His Highness, Asgore. It is a pleasure to meet you again.”

Torituff felt compelled to do as Temmie said. She was such a small
creature, yet the tone with which she commanded carried power that
forced Toriel’s Pokemon body to obey, moving in such a way as to
perform the ability.
Toriel had no idea how to uses these moves, but it came as second
nature, apparently. The air around her grew hot in response to the
power burning within, and after a moment of charging heat the
incinerating fire exploded outward. It wasn’t directed at the tree so
much as it burned everything in Toriel’s general vicinity, including
tree.
Temmie grinned widely at the pokemon, bouncing excitedly
around her. Temmie slowed slightly, scooting closer to the
Wigglytuff.
“ Wigtuf. Use Incinerate on dat
tree! ”
