“How much longer was it until we get to the hotel again? Was it two hours or three?”

“I believe it was three.”

“Ah okay-”

“Ooo! Hey, we should stop here!”

“Yeah!”

Klaus drives up to a parking spot and stops the car. Amber and Klaus look around the scenic overlook they decided to stop at. There’s only a table, a thick and short wall resting on top of the cliff, and a beautiful view of the green mountains and colorful sunset.

“Ooh, that’s beautiful!” Amber gasps, unbuckling their seatbelt and getting out of the car, wandering around the overlook as Klaus quickly gets out of the car and follows them. The overlook is empty of cars or anyone else; it’s just them.

“Wow, look at that view!” Amber rushes up and leans against the wall, looking at the scenery in awe. Klaus stares in awe as well, but mostly at his wife. Their attractive body, their cute sundress flowing in the wind, and the beautiful scenery in the background make them look so perfect. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

“Very…” Klaus mutters with a lovesick smile, hearts practically in his eyes. He takes out his phone and carefully takes a picture of Amber, trying to make the photo look perfect.

Perking up at the thought of an idea, Klaus approaches Amber and starts playing one of their favorite songs.

“Huh?”

“Dance with me.” He says in a soft voice with a loving smile, holding out his hand for them to take. Smiling, they take his hand and he steps up onto the wall, pulling Amber up with him. The two of them begin to dance together as they sing along to the song, dancing in-sync to the beat.

Their dance ends with Klaus holding Amber in a low dip, the two of them breathing heavily from exhaustion as they stare into each other’s eyes. “That…That was amazing…” Amber sighs, a smile on their lips.

“We should do this more often…” Klaus smiles lovingly at them.

“Yes, yes we should…” They stare at each other for a moment before glancing at the scenic view. “Wow, that is beautiful…”

Klaus looks back at Amber. “That’s what I say every time I look at you.”

“Klaus!” Amber swoons. “You’re so sweet…!”

Klaus giggles and replies, “I meant it, after all.” Amber “aww”s in response.

“Should we get going?” Klaus asks as he pulls Amber back up on their feet, keeping his hand on their waist.

“Oh yeah! We still have a three hour drive ahead of us, right?”

“Yeah, we should get going.”

Klaus steps off of the wall and Amber hops down, the two making their way to their car and getting in again. Klaus starts driving towards the hotel again and they go back to listening to Amber’s playlist and chatting.

Three days.

It’s been three days since Amber’s death.

Most people would plan a funeral or mourn the death of their spouse.

Not Klaus.

Klaus isn’t ready to lose his beloved wife.

Not now.

Not ever.

And he plans on making sure he won’t lose Amber ever again.

Lying unresponsive on top of his operating table is Amber’s corpse, Klaus sitting in front of another table scanning a bunch of papers scattered all over the table. His hair is a mess, there’s a bunch of empty coffee cups on the table, and there’s obvious bags under his eyes. Ever since those damned monster hunters killed his selkie wife, he’s been trying everything he could to bring them back to life.

The first thing he tried was to turn them into a vampire, but that didn’t work; they’re still unconscious and the only difference is the bite mark on their neck. These past few days, Klaus has been trying a few different experiments in hopes it’ll work. Since Amber’s a selkie- technically a merfolk, would the heart or blood of another merfolk bring them back? He would find another selkie but he couldn’t on such short notice, but hopefully it’ll be fine…?

Klaus groans as he slams his head on the desk in frustration. No, it’s stupid to think it would’ve worked. He should’ve studied necromancy instead. Well, it’s too late now. The surgery is done and the only thing he can do is travel to the library and find spell books on necromancy. But he doesn’t want to leave his beloved Amber…

Klaus perks up when he hears someone. ‘Is…Is that…?’ He spins around to face them.

Amber groans in pain as they try to sit up, finally regaining their consciousness. They quickly lay back down and clutch their sides, hissing in pain. They look…different. Very different…

Sure, Amber’s still the short, curvy, and slightly chubby selkie he knew, but that Amber looked entirely human. This Amber still has their long-ish dark purple hair in the pixie cut with shaved sides and dark brown hair in the roots. Now they have teal colored scales which are on some bits of their face, arms, legs, and body which fade from scales to skin like a gradient. They have fins on their ears, two on the side of their arms and legs, and three on their back. They have glowing gold eyes, a glowing anglerfish lure hanging in front of their face which is attached at the top of their head, claws instead of nails, webbed hands and feet, fangs, a short fish-like tail attached to their lower back like a sea monster, and they wear a light cyan, thin, fabric cardigan which has a shiny scale design on it if the light hits it just right. In this form, they don’t have a fish tail but rather legs, though they still look merfolk-like anyways.

Klaus lets out a gasp and stares at them in shock. “A-Amber…?”

Amber looks over and perks up upon seeing their husband, beginning to smile slightly. “K-Klaus…?”

“AMBER!!!” Klaus rushes up to the table, placing his hands on their shoulder and waist. “You-You’re alive!! Y-You’re really here!! I-I-” He pulls them into a tight yet comfortable embrace, tears streaming down his cheeks. “I’m so glad you’re back…!”

“Ack- c-careful luv.” Amber chuckles, gently wrapping their arms around him, careful not to press on one of their wounds.

“Oh! Shit…I-I’m so sorry!” Klaus loosens his grip yet doesn’t yet go.

“It’s alright, luv.” Amber smiles lovingly at him. “Wh-What happened…?”

He pulls away to face them. “W-Well…Some monster hunters attacked us, and…a-and they…” Klaus sighs before continuing. “They killed you. Two of them shot you in the stomach. I-I thought I was going to lose you, I…I did everything I could to bring you back.”

“I…died…?” Amber thinks to themselves for a moment. “That…That makes a lot of sense…” They look into his eyes. “Thank you for saving me, love…”

“A-Ah, yes. B-But, th-there is a slight…problem…” Klaus squeaks out nervously.

Amber’s face drops with anxiousness. “What problem…?”

“W-Well…” Klaus walks over to his desk and grabs a mirror, slowly approaching Amber with the mirror facing away from them. “Aheh, I-I don’t actually know how this happened myself, b-but… Y-You’re…not entirely “human-looking” anymore…” He holds up the mirror, showing them their new appearance.

Amber gasps upon seeing their new inhuman appearance, inspecting every detail with a shocked look. “Wh-What the…”

“I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m so so sorry-” Klaus quickly apologies.

“Klaus, wait! Don’t worry.” Amber quickly reassures. They stand up and walk over to a full-length mirror, Klaus nervously following behind them. “Whoa…” They mutter as they inspect more of their new appearance.

“W-Wait…” Amber gasps upon realization. “M-My coat! Wh-Where’s my coat!?” They begin to panic.

“D-Don’t worry, my selkie! That cardigan you’re wearing is your coat! It changed one day, I saw it.” Klaus explains, hoping to calm down his husband.

“H-Huh? B-But how? Why?” Amber looks into the mirror. “What am I?”

Klaus hums, thinking to himself, before walking up to them. He places a hand on their waist and the other on their arm, pulling them close to him as he inspects the new scales and fins attached to them. He hums then lets go of them, switching sides to inspect their face, putting his hand back on their waist and his other hand cupping their cheek. Amber nervously stands in silence, letting him do his thing with a red face.

Klaus hums again and lets go of them, glancing at their cardigan and thinking deeply to himself. “Hmm…I’d say you’re a hybrid between three monsters. A merfolk, which appears to be an anglerfish; a selkie, which seemed to mix with your merfolk genes; and a vampire, probably because I bit you…”

“You bit me?” Amber asks him.

“I hoped it would’ve been enough to bring you back, but you didn’t wake up…” Klaus drops his head at the memory, frowning.

“Hey…” Amber cups his cheek, smiling at him. “I’m here now and there’s nothing for you to worry about now. I’m here and I’m alright.” They say in a soft tone.

“But you’re not human anymore… Well- human-looking.”

“But I’m still me, right?”

“Well, yes, but aren’t you unhappy with how you look?”

“You’re a shapeshifter because you’re a vampire, right?” Klaus nods. “Then I’m perfectly happy like this.” Amber smiles lovingly at him.

Klaus smiles, letting out a sigh and leaning into their touch, his shoulders relaxing. “I’m glad…~ I was worried you’d be upset and hate me…”

“No, honey… I could never hate you.” Amber cups his other cheek with her hand as well before pulling him down to give him a soft kiss on the forehead. “You’re too cute for me to ever hate you…”

Klaus giggles softly before pulling them into a tight hug. “Aww, I’m glad~!!”

“Ahh! K-Klaus!” Amber yelps in pain.

Klaus immediately lets them go. “Oh! I’m so sorry! I forgot you still need to heal-”

“It’s okay!” Amber chuckles. They glance away before asking, “Hey, do you know how I became a merfolk?”

“I believe it’s the merfolk heart I placed inside your body.” Klaus recalls.

“Wait what-”

“Oh! Well, you see…I thought because you were a selkie, I could replace your heart with that of a merfolk to bring you back. Now you have a new heart and your old one is in my fridge!” Klaus explains.

“Ooh okay.” Amber nods.

“Here, let me just-” He picks them up bridal style and walks into their shared room, setting them down on the bed. “Let me get you some pain killers and soup; and anything else you may need! Don’t worry meine liebling, I’ll take good care of you while you recover~!!”

“Thank you, luv…” Amber smiles at their husband, snuggling into bed.

“Of course, luv~!” Klaus leans down and gives them a quick kiss before hurrying over to the door. “I’ll be back, my darling, with your favorite soup and unlimited cuddles~!!”

“S-So…you’re telling me; if I steal your coat, you’d have to…m-marry me?” Klaus asks you after you told him you’re a selkie.

“Yes, why…?” You ask him. You know Klaus, he wouldn’t steal your coat…right?

“O-Oh, nothing-”

Boom!

An explosion erupts from Klaus' lab and the two of you turn to the noise, you having to turn around completely due to the lab being right behind you.

"Luv, I think you overheated that chemical." You simply say, not surprised anymore at this point in your relationship.

"Heh, whoops…" Klaus chuckles nervously as he puts his hands on your shoulders.

"Honestly, you need to be more caref-" Before you can react, Klaus pulls the coat off of you and holds it over his shoulder. You gasp and spin around to face him, seeing his dumb little grin on his lips.

"Klaus!"

"Sorry! I had to when you mentioned it." Klaus smiles sheepishly at you. You let out a soft growl of annoyance as you put your hands on your hips, giving him an unimpressed look. "Guess you'll have to marry me to get it back~" He purrs with blush on his cheeks.

You grin, an idea forming. You know Klaus, you've been dating him for around a year now, you know he has no bad intentions and he's only trying to be flirty.

Without giving him a warning, you grab his vest and smash your lips onto his. Klaus squeaks and immediately melts in your touch, kissing you back.

You pull away and Klaus giggles, handing you your coat back. "H-Here, love…" He says with a lovesick smile.

"Thank you, luv. Just don't do it again."

"I-I won't. I promise."

You're sitting on the couch drawing, a plate of your favorite food next to you half eaten and your phone playing music quietly on the other side of you. Today you planned for it to be just a chill day, a day where you can relax and draw all day. Hopefully nothing interesting happens that makes you get up.

Boom!

And there it is...

You quickly get up and rush into your partner's lab, seeing Klaus covered in smoke with broken glass sticking out of his arm, a tiny fire on his shoulder.

Klaus looks over and sees you standing in the doorway. "D-Don't worry, everything's fine! Uhh...j-just a minor setback!" He sheepishly says.

You walk over to him and pick up the glass of water he left on the table, pouring the water on the small fire on his shoulder. "Are you hurt at all?" At this point, you're not fazed anymore.

"Uhmm...th-there's some glass in my arms..." Klaus says sheepishly, rubbing his neck awkwardly.

"Sit down, let me patch up your wounds." You say as you walk over towards the first aid kit you started keeping in here. Klaus nods and takes off his lab coat, rolling up his sleeves as he sits down on a nearby chair.

You walk back to Klaus and begin patching up his wounds. "Let's see...how many times has this happened this week? Four times? Five? It's not even close to Friday yet."

"It's actually six-"

"Seriously? Haven't you ever heard of lab safety?"

"Lab Safety? What's that?" Klaus jokes lightheartedly, a cute smile on his lips as he watches you work.

"Ah, so that's why you keep getting hurt." You humor him with a smile.

"Actually, it's because I like it when you patch me up! I feel loved." Klaus admits inadvertently.

You perk up, looking into his green eyes. "You...get hurt on purpose?"

Klaus looks surprised for a moment. "Wait- d-did I say that out loud...?"

"Klaus...if you want to feel loved, you can ask me for affection any time. Really, I don't mind. I don't want to see you hurt..." You tell him.

"R-Really? I-I'm so sorry, I didn't know you-" Klaus cuts himself off and glances away with guilt. "I-I'm sorry..."

You cup his cheek with your hand and face him towards you. "I forgive you, but please; never hurt yourself on purpose. It hurts me seeing you hurt."

"I-I promise." Klaus nods, blushing slightly at your touch.

"Thank you..." You pull him in for a soft embrace, which he gladly returns. "Now, when I'm finished, do you want to watch some TV with me?" You pull away to face him.

"I'd love to..." Klaus smiles lovingly at you.

There's a blissful silence for a moment as you two stare into each other's eyes.

You grin upon thinking of an idea. "Hold on, there's something on your cheek."

"Wh-What is it?" Klaus asks with a cute head tilt, like a confused dog.

You lean in and kiss his cheek. "There, all better!"

Klaus blushes brightly and lets out a soft giggle. "Aww, you're so cute!" He pulls you in for a tight yet comfortable hug. "I love you so much, my handsome Y/n..."

"I love you too, you dork." You smile, petting his hair soothingly. He does the same to you.

"You're the man of my dreams...have I ever told you that before?"

"Everyday, my love."

Amber hums along to the song they're listening to as they dig through their clothes drawer, figuring out which pants to keep and which to donate. They pick up a pair of jeans and stop, feeling something in the pants pocket.

"Huh? What's this?" Amber takes out some black lipstick and inspects it, noticing the "blackberry flavored" written on the container in a fancy font. "Oh, I forgot about this...How did it end up here?"

Amber glances away for a moment to think. They barely wear lipstick, or any makeup for that matter, but it would be fun to try it on. But there's no point in putting it on, they aren't going anywhere. But it would be fun to try it on anyway...

Making up their mind, they turn on their phone's camera to face them and begin carefully putting on the black lipstick.

After a moment, they check themselves out in the reflection, making sure their lipstick is good enough. They smile, feeling confident for once. "Wow, I should wear this more often..."

"Hello, darling~" Tanner purrs as he walks into the room.

Amber perks up with a grin, keeping their back turned towards him, and says in a flirty tone, "Hey Tanner~"

Tanner approaches them and wraps his arms around their waist, burying his face in their hair and taking a deep breath, smelling their scent. He loves being this close to them, and they smell good too...

"Hey, honey? Can you sit down on the bed and close your eyes? I have a surprise for you~" Amber says in a tone as sweet as the flavor of their lipstick.

"Oh~? And what would that be~?" Tanner grins as he lets go of them, sitting down on the bed and closing his eyes.

"You'll see~" Amber purrs with a flirty grin. "Keep your eyes closed~"

"They're closed." Tanner says, his excited grin never leaving. Amber approaches him and cups his cheek, giving him a bunch of soft kisses all over his face. From his cheeks, to his forehead, to the tip of his nose, and finally a long kiss on the lips.

Amber pulls away and giggles, a smile on their lips.

"What?" Tanner asks, smiling upon hearing their laugh.

"There's black lipstick all over your face."

Tanner opens his eyes and sees his darling wearing black lipstick. "God, they look so perfect..." Tanner thinks to himself before replying. "I was wondering why your lips tasted sweeter than normal." He says with a lovesick smile. Amber lets out a flustered giggle with a bright smile, blushing slightly.

"What flavor is that? I'd love to try some more~" Tanner says before smashing his lips onto theirs. Amber squeaks and immediately melts into his touch, kissing him back happily.

If you’re requesting something from Call of Duty Zombies, I’m still learning the lore and everything and I only write Richtofen as of now

For Danganronpa, I’ll write for the games only. I haven’t seen the anime yet, reason why I can’t write for it. I’ll also write for any character except Celeste and anyone from the anime and Ultra Despair Girls. My favorite characters to write for are Teruteru and Hifumi

For the Super Mario Bros Movie, I’ll only write for Bowser for right now

For Villainous, I haven’t seen the show yet but I have seen the shorts so I won’t write for anyone from the show only yet

I love writing for yanderes because I find it fun but I don’t support anything any of them do

I heavily prefer to write for soft yanderes who are still very sweet and loving towards their darling, who still allow them to have friends and go out but are a tad bit controlling and manipulative but also very much lovesick and obsessed with their darling; I don’t really want to write for anything extremely abusive

I have the right to reject a request for whatever reason (I think I can’t write it, it’s not a fandom I’m in, I’ve already written something too similar to it, I’m uncomfortable with it, etc) and I might either answer your ask politely rejecting your request or I just delete the ask

If I'm obsessed with a certain fandom I'll be more focused on writing for it but I don’t mind if you request something from a different fandom (though I prefer if you request something from the fandom(s) that I’m currently obsessed with)

I’m a lazy procrastinator who fears I won’t be good at interpreting the characters well. It might take a while for me to finish your request because I either procrastinated, didn’t know how to write the character you requested, or both. Another reason why I wouldn't finish a request quickly is because I had a lack of motivation and/or inspiration which has been happening a lot recently, so if your request takes longer from that then I sincerely apologize

Please be specific when requesting something, if you aren't specific I'll assume you're fine with something random. And for polyamorous relationships, please specify the relationship (ex: Is Character A and Character B dating each other and the reader or are they simply friends who are both dating the reader?)

Crossovers are welcome here, the only rule is it has to be in my list of fandoms. You can still ask me if I know a certain TV Show/movie/video game/book/anime. If you request anything anime, chances are I don’t know it since I haven’t seen a lot of anime. I want to watch more, though (at some point)
