Was it a good idea to keep doing this? Probably not, no - but even with the excruciating pain, it wasn’t like she she could say no, it wasn’t like she could hide away in the ship forever, and pretend like everything was normal. The whole world had turned upside down, and even though a lot of the intel in her head would be out of date now, if she could use some of it to help, she was going to have to. Now, she was holding an icepack to her head, but gave him a nod regardless. “And you know where I’ll be if you need me.”

   Tom couldn’t deny the slight guilt he felt at her obvious pain; it wasn’t as though he had initially intentioned to use her knowledge and the intel in her head to benefit himself or the ship. She’d only happen to glance at something, and the information she provided was of critical importance to them and their mission. She was an asset, without a doubt, but an asset with a deadline he’d rather not  move forward if he could help it. He’d much prefer or more reliable, less detrimental way to get access to that information, but the world as it is they really had no choice. “Hopefully we won’t, Miss Walker. I do wish there was a way we could get to that information without, you know,” he gestures at his own head, since he never really understood how it all worked.
