OK JUST REALIZED I NEVER SHARED the red-wing blackbird inspired Wing Shawl I crocheted over the summer 😌

Quick fiber arts tip: if you're knitting or crocheting or anything, get a book light. I've got one set up right behind me when I crochet, and it's so bright in a way that my lamp never is. It's made crocheting on darker yarns much easier, and I find that it strains my eyes less because I don't have to focus so hard on what I'm doing because I can actually see what I'm doing.

Got covid for christmas, so i haved to be locked away in my room all day on christmas day (my final day of quarantine tho!). But thats okay, cuz i made EGGPLANTS! Watching through Bee and Puppycat Lazy in Space ive been so jealous of their eggplant pillow. The smaller one was my first time trying to resize this pattern, it wasn't as much of a pillow size as i wanted and has a few mistakes but i still love how it came out! Got nervy about showing my face on here so sorryfor the egg stickers haha. If i were to do another id probably get baby blanket yarn for the stem as well, but c'est la vie! Happy holidays everyone, hoping everyone is having a good day whether you celebrate christmas or not.

Here’s my most recent froggy friend,  𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼 Marsh 𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊

I’m very happy with how she turned out! (୨୧ᵕᴗᵕ) <3 I originally planned to make just the frog, but then decided to make them a whole outfit as well. Now she’s cozy and ready to go on adventures during the upcoming colder months!⍋࿐༄࿔

I crocheted their body with some sage green yarn, and used some brown knitted material to make her sweater. The buttons I used on the sweater kinda remind me of little loaves of bread, like hot cross buns or something (ง ^v^)ว

The pants are made with old couch cushion fabric and the scarf is crocheted with a reddish-brown yarn. I also made them a satchel with a corduroy strap, a wooden button, and decorated the closing flap with some rickrack :)
