Happy April Fools. I played a new game and thought of this
Tw: Captivity, kidnapping, forced dependency, light deprivation, stalking
Regardless of how Theodore finds you, your ass is going in the basement. Especially if you were trying to figure out what's in his basement to begin with
It's not so bad (yes it is), at least he's somewhat nice to you. You're still kept in the basement and not allowed upstairs
He brings you food, whatever drink you want, he tries to show you affection even if it's terrifying for you
If he happens to find you upstairs, you get punished with no artificial sunlight for a whole day and no clocks so you can't even tell what time it is
If you play your cards right, he might feel bad about that punishment and promise to not be that cruel to you again
Still, you can’t be allowed upstairs because you're a missing person and if anyone sees you at his house it's going to raise unnecessary suspicions, which can get you taken from him
He can't allow that, Theodore does care about you even if he shows it by forcing you to cuddle with him and forcing his affections onto you
If anyone ever did manage to get you safely away from Theodore, he'd go right back to trying to find you again
He needs you, he loves you, he can't stay away from you. You're his precious darling and he'd do anything to have you back at his side... and back in his basement
I did research for this, please enjoy

Since it's the anniversary of Silence of the Lambs being released, this was necessary
Tw: Implied murder, stalking, kidnapping, manipulation, murder, witnessing murder, gore, cannibalism, captivity, psychological abuse, psychological torture, forced dependency, indoctrination, Stockholm Syndrome, forced wedding
First and foremost, Hannibal is a terrifying yandere. He gets into your mind, learns everything about you, and he wouldn't hesitate to use that against you
Oh, you want to go home? It would be a shame if (insert person you cared about) had an unfortunate run in with him
Of course, if you’re a good little darling you wouldn't want to go home now would you? No, no you'd be happy to stay with your captor lover
That being said, he does love you. In his own way
You'd meet him innocently enough, never knowing that he'd been watching you and stalking you for weeks before your first meeting
He finds it amusing how terrified you become once you realize who he is, and how much danger you're in from his presence alone
He does assure you he doesn't intend to harm you, so long as you're a well behaved darling for him
He doesn't tolerate disobedience and resistance, although he does understand how terrified you are of him. As such, he's going to make you spend a lot of time with him to get used to his presence
As a scare tactic, if you keep trying to resist his affections, he'll make you watch him kill and then dissect his victim
He'll even be nice and let you pick which organ you two have for dinner, and of course he'll make it as romantic as he can. A nice candlelit dinner with some wine (or whatever you prefer, he's not entirely cruel and unreasonable), some soft music, and a terrifying loving atmosphere
If you behave and just let him love you, he can be persuaded to let you choose what's for dinner rather than indulge in cannibalism
It will cost you. Nothing much, just affection. Let him hold you, kiss you, cuddle with you, sleep next to you and let him hold you, just act like a couple
In the instance you somehow manage to escape him, there's not a lot that can be done to keep him from finding you
He WILL find you, it's only a matter of when
When he does find you, he's a lot calmer than you would expect. It's unsettling. He takes you home and is just as sweet and affectionate towards you as he had been. You wouldn’t be able to relax, wondering what sort of hellish punishment he has in store for you
That is the punishment, the fear, the anxiety, the stress of knowing he's furious with you and wondering what he's going to do to you
Hannibal is too much of a gentleman to lay a hand on you, he doesn't believe in physically harming his beloved. Now psychologically tormenting his beloved is another story entirely
He'll play with your mind, he'll learn every little thing about you and learn how your mind works to use that against you
He's not entirely cruel though, he does encourage you to come to him if you're upset. He was a therapist after all, and he'd be happy to help his beloved
There is an ulterior motive for this though, he can manipulate you through these sessions and try to make you feel as though you need him, that he's keeping you safe from the cruelty of the outside world
He's not above using indoctrination techniques on you, making you see him as both a source of comfort and a threat. He's only a threat if you express wanting to leave
Why would you want to leave? He keeps you safe, no one is allowed to harm or disrespect you and anyone that does ends up as dinner
Do you not like how affectionate he is? If it's overwhelming you can freely ask him to tone it down, he just wants to keep you happy... and complacent, pliable to his charms
Unless Hannibal is captured again, there's very little hope of ever escaping him entirely. Even moving to a new country isn't enough to escape, he'll find you and bring you back home for another round of psychological torment
It would be in your best interest to hope and attempt to develop Stockholm Syndrome quickly, it would make life as his captive much easier to endure
At least, it would certainly make it easier to cope with the eventual wedding he plans for the two of you. That way it's even more difficult for you to leave him, and he has a more permanent claim on you
Plus he really, really likes referring to you as his beloved spouse (or whatever term you prefer)
Hope you enjoyed

This isn’t really based on much of anything other than me (eventually) getting a Hannibal Lecter pin to go with my Du'Met keychain, but Hannibal and Du'Met would be a terrifying pair of yanderes and they would work well together. Both of them are well versed in psychology, even though Hannibal has a PhD and Hector only has a bachelor's but he has years of experience both with serial killers and with tormenting his victims with death traps and forcing them to choose who lives and dies, and there's the ultimatum he gives to Joseph and Mark. There’s also the added stress of knowing darling is being hunted by two brutal murderers, and that both killers are deeply obsessed with them. If Du'Met doesn't kill darling's friends then Hannibal will, and then force darling to eat their friends. Hannibal is highly skilled in manipulation and would make darling believe if they give themselves up to him and Du'Met then they'll stop killing off people important to darling, and maybe they will. So long as darling doesn't try to escape or fight back. Du'Met might even give them their own ultimatum, let him and Hannibal keep them isolated on Du'Met's island and everyone darling knows and cares about will be safe, otherwise they'll start luring people to the island to add to Du'Met's kill count

Story time 3
So, funny story but I'm getting workman's comp because I kinda hurt my shoulder Sunday night and I finally got to see a doctor about it yesterday. Nothing is broken, dislocated, or anything which is what I was most worried about. The muscle that wraps around my left shoulder, the trapezias or something like that is strained and puts pressure on my collarbone when I move my arm in front of me so I got put on muscle relaxers that I take at night to help the muscle relax and stop straining. I got put on a 5 pound weight limit and some of my coworkers got pissed at me for it since I wasn't able to help them stage orders, prep orders, or go pick items for orders and I was getting frustrated that they weren't listening so I left an hour early. Sadly I have to have a meeting with the AP coach, my coach, and my team lead tomorrow to discuss what happened, why it happened, and "how I can prevent it from happening again" which is just frustrating because by the time I start taking out orders I'm either alone or there's another person that doesn't want to take out orders so I end up doing it anyway. We're also getting a new coach that's somehow stricter than the one we have now, so people are leaving for other departments.
Also another actually funny story, but 3 years of hearing my history professor talk about Star Wars whenever possible wasn't enough to make me actually watch a movie, and then my step dad made me watch Rogue One with him and ngl I liked it for Krennic. The weird CGI bullshit they did for Tarkin and Leia is just bullshit and could've been done differently without, y'know, disrespecting the dead. I am contemplating writing for a couple characters, Krennic for sure tho
