Ike Eveland

➼ You are one of the only solo vtubers within Nijisanji EN. You debuted as Kitsune vtuber brought from another world to watch over young children and grant luck to those who deserve it. You had been a big hit within Niji, the other talents and you got along very well and you ended up bonding deeply with a certain novelist.

The collabs you did with Ike were always full of fun and laughter, it wasn't long before the shipping began within the quilldren and your fd/n (fandom name). You and Ike always just claimed to be friends but behind the scenes, there was something much more going on. You and Ike had began dating after two months of you being Nijisanji.

Everything was going amazing in your eyes, you trusted Ike with your life and he trusted you with his. There was no trust issues and he had been helping you through so many struggles. You had always been insecure about yourself but he made you feel beautiful and loved.

You and Ike had been dating a year when you moved to live with him permanently and you loved it. A very fond memory of yours was how your friends found out about you and Ike; he had been in a discord call with the rest of Luxiem, you two hadn't told anything about your relationship yet. Not realizing he was unmuted in the call, you had come into his room to bring him a plate of caviar toast.

" Babe, here's your snack! I figured you would be hungry. " you beamed walking over to his desk and setting down the plate before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

The moment the word Babe left your lips, Ike froze. Realizing he hadn't been muted and the chatter from his genmates had completely stopped.

" IS THAT Y/N?! " the voice of the bri'ish detective rang out in your ears and you two froze seeing Ike hadn't muted himself and you just outted your relationship to his friends.

You and Ike planned to tell them, just not yet but it was a little too late..

" Hah.. Hi guys. " you spoke sheepishly. Multiple voices erupting into questions about when you got together, why didn't you tell them sooner.

After that day, the rest of Niji EN knew about your relationship and it was also revealed to the fans too, by you and Ike of course, which was met by a lot of positivity which warmed your heart.

But.. as of late, Ike seemed to always be shut in his streaming room. You hardly saw him anymore and he hardly ever slept in your shared bedroom. You had started to get concerned about him but anytime you tried to talk to him, he would wave you off and say that was busy and didn't need the distraction.

The confrontation that led to the current situation was when you had finally had enough of him avoiding you and being locked in his office all day, was the day he snapped at you;

You opened his door to see him hunched over his desk working on collab and stream ideas as well as a new novel, the dark circles under his eyes evident. You were worried sick so you walked over and you spun his chair around to face you, only to be met by Ike's irritated green eyes,

" Y/N I told you that I was busy and not to come into my office didn't I? " he said in a tired but frustrated tone

" I know but Ike you've been locked in this office for days, I hardly see you anymore. It wouldn't kill you take a break. " You retorted, worry etched on your face

Ike let out an irritated sigh, he looked up at you and brushed your hands off his chair turning back to his desk to continue his work,

" Y/N I am busy please leave my room. "

You glared at him and grabbed the back of Ike's chair and started dragging it to his door before he shot up out of his chair and grabbed onto your wrist, his green eyes now glaring down at you angrily before yelling,

" Y/N I SAID I'M BUSY! " he snapped gripping your wrist

" I CAME IN BECAUSE I'M WORRIED IKE! " You snapped back

" NO! YOUR GETTING IN MY WAY! " He snapped, not registering that what came out of his mouth

Your eyes went wide, feeling your eyes watering, the tone of his voice caused you to flinch before you ripped your wrist out of Ike's grip and you rushed out of his room, slamming the door behind you, leaving Ike standing in his room. You sprinted into the shared bedroom you shared with Ike, slamming the door and locking the door before your back hit the door and you slid down to the floor and curdled up, hugging your knees and burying your face in your knees. The tears that had come up in your eyes now began to slip down your cheeks.

Those intrusive thoughts started to creep up, 'is he getting tired of me?', 'Am I really getting in his way?', 'Why is he still with me?', 'I'm not worth his time..' you sat in the dark in the dark room trying to calm down. But now you felt you weren't good enough for to be with Ike. Maybe you were really getting in the way.

You spent 2 weeks after he finally finished with his work ignoring him. He noticed immediately. He tried to talk to you and apologize for his actions.

" Älskling.. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean anything I said.. Please talk to me. " Ike followed you around the house trying to get you to talk to him. But you ignored him.

He figured it was time to give you space so he did. He constantly noticed your spiral. All the confidence you once had, was gone. He knew it was his fault for saying what he said. But it all came to a boil when he found you sitting on the kitchen floor at 1 am in tears,

" Y/N?! Are you okay? " he asked, concern lacing his voice as he dropped down to your side and pulling you into a tight hug.

" Why are you even with me.. I know I'm always in your way! " you said starting to fight against his hug however he refused to let go, he hugged you tight. Keeping you tight in his arms. Now whispering to you, telling you that he loved you and he never meant anything he said.

Luca Kaneshiro

➼ You were a new nijisanji liver that came into nijisanji with a new wave, xsoleil along with Doppio Dropsythe, Hex Haywire, Ver Vermillion, Kotoka Torahime and Meloco Kyoran. The first person you had met when you joined Nijisanji was the one and only Luca Kaneshiro.

When you finally started doing livestreams regularly, most of your collabs ended up being with the mob boss. You adored his Lucubs and you knew he adored your fans. Your livestream collabs with Luca were always filled with chaos and laughter along with Lucubs and your fans saying they wish you and Luca would just get together already. You and Luca playfully flirted back and fourth all the time, well you flirted with Luca and he wouldn't pick up on it.

It was the one year anniversary from your debut and you were doing a collab playing Valorant, Xsoleil VS Luxiem. The teams had switched up after the first 4 rounds, now you, Luca, Doppio, Shu and Hex were on a team against, Vox, Ike, Mysta, Kotoka, Meloco and Ver. The round started and it was all going smoothly until you made a flirty remark towards Luca and it completely went over his head. After being taken down by Ver, you turned to read some of the superchats that came in, thanking them one by one before one completely stopping, silently reading one and you felt your heart completely shatter;

Superchat; Luca'sCape221: Seriously stop making advances towards him. He doesn't like you! Like damn. Why haven't you graduated yet, why are you still here?

You were silent for a good few minutes before the voice of Doppio snapped you out of your trance,

" Hey, VT/N (Vtuber name), You okay? " He asked making you jump before speaking,

" What? Oh um yeah I'm fine Dopi! " you replied quickly, " I have to take a quick bathroom break! " you quickly added before muting and running off to the bathroom.

~ NO ONE'S POV ~

Doppio thought it was odd that you just ran off, so when both he and Luca were killed, he started talking to Luca,

" Hey Luca, do you mind checking on VT/N's stream, she went silent while reading superchats. I think something happened. " he told the blond haired mafia boss who took action almost immediately. Turning on your stream and reading through before finding the superchats that followed with many nasty comments.

Seeing the nasty remarks from multiple people about you made his blood boil. He had only recently found out about your actual feelings and he felt the same he just didn't know how to tell you. When the match was over, he asked everyone to wait for a moment until you got back so he could say something.

~ Your POV ~

You spent a good long time in the bathroom in tears, the words from the superchat bouncing around in your mind. You tried to compose yourself so you could rejoin the collab, before you pulled up your stream and looked at the chat, seeing the flood of nasty remarks coming in, you broke down again.

After a moment, you decided to return to stream. Putting your headphones on and unmuting yourself as you spoke saying you were ready for the next game, internally groaning hearing the shaking in your voice when you spoke. Before anyone could say anything else Luca spoke up,

" Actually I wanna say something before we continue, it's important. " he spoke and everyone went silent so Luca could speak.

" Okay so, while VT/N was gone on her bathroom break, I looked at her chat. I wanna say that I am absolutely disgusted by how many nasty comments there were about her. For your information, I do happen to like her so let's shut that down right now. " He spoke in a very stern tone,

The group went completely silent, you didn't even notice that tears started to fall once again listening to Luca rant and scold those who left nasty comments in your chat.

" I do not want to see any other nasty comments like that in her chat again and I will be checking. If I see so much as one, you'll be banned by ME personally. " the normally bubbly blond said, remembering you had made him a mod in your chat. The comments filled with comforting words from both your own fanbase and Lucubs. You sniffled, catching the attention of your teammate, Shu.

" Hey, don't cry VT/N.. We got your back. " He told you in a soothing voice followed by the comforting words from your other friends and genmates. Through the chaos, you heard your phone beep, looking down, you looked at the notification and saw Luca's name;

Discord chat: Lucar Kaneshiroe: Hey, I meant what I said. I do really like you. VT/N: I... really..? Lucar Kaneshiroe: Yeah! Hey, I'm gonna have you fly up to see me so we can go on a proper date! :3

You felt your cheeks heat up while reading the messages,

Discord chat: VT/N: Y...you really don't have to do that Luca, I could pay my own way to see you! Lucar Kaneshiroe: Nope! I'm gonna pay for you to come and spend a couple weeks! " VT/N: There's no talking you out of this is there? Lucar Kaneshiroe: Nope! VT/N: Well okay but um.. we're not done with the collab Luca Lucar Kaneshiroe: ... SHIT!

You turned back to the collab, both you and Luca apologized for going silent and the collab continued, every time you noticed a nasty comment come up, it disappeared just as fast as it popped up. And each time a chat from a certain someone popped up;

Luca Kaneshiro [NIJISANJI EN]: Not today satan! VT/N IS POG! Don't tall about her like that!

i tried so hard not to cry..

then mika broke.. then mysta broke.

it’s so hard to believe that he’s gone..

during the almost goodbye stream, he saw a drawing i had done of my mystakesona. i posted it and wrote the message when i was at a really dark time and i never thought in a million years he would see it.. i was okay when he said my twitter handle since it was the same as my YT but my @ underneath is my real name, when he said my name, idk it just broke me… hearing him read what i wrote for him at the point i was at… meant the world to me..

Mysta Rias was my hope in the dark.. and now he’s gone..

I just wanna say this here because I want to share the reason Mysta Rias became my Oshi.

In the past 2 years, Mysta has taught me so much. Saying that people may call me crazy for saying that a Vtuber has taught me anything. Well, let me tell you about what Mysta Rias has taught me;

Mysta has taught me that I should never be afraid of being who I am. He's taught me that I should never be afraid to show off who I am and what I love. Before finding Mysta, I would always put on a front, I would change my persona depending on the people around me. I was afraid to show off who I am because of the fear of being judged by others.

After finding Mysta and watching his streams, I realize that it's okay to be me. Seeing him unapologetically be himself in streams, made me realize that regardless of what other people think, I shouldn't be afraid to be me. I know what many will say,

" He's just an avatar on a screen. ", " Your thinking too far into everything. "

Maybe that's true, but honestly, as someone whose struggled so long with being who I am and changing personality depending on the people around me, it truly affected me in such a way. He's truly shown me that being who I am and not putting on a front for other people is not as scary as I initially thought. I don't have to be afraid anymore of who I am. I don't have to be afraid of sharing what I love and most importantly, I have a community of amazing people called the Mystakes to share my love of this Fox Detective with.

I wanna say thank you also so much to the Mystakes for taking me in and giving me a loving community to call home. I mean it genuinely, Thank you so much Mystakes.

And for helping me break out of that habit,

You had been invited to join an off collab with a group of your co workers and closest friends, Vox, Shu, Luca, Mysta, Fulgur, Alban, Sonny, your best friend, Uki and the Luxiem member that had your heart in his hands without him even knowing it. Vox had planned an off collab trip to Japan wanting to treat his friends to a vacation, You had gotten a discord call from Uki at 2 am, when picking up, the phone, groggy and disoriented, you jumped hearing the excitement in his quiet soothing voice asking if you wanted to take a trip to Japan with him and a bunch of others.

You rubbed your eyes, replying to Uki sleepily, asking who would be going, Uki told you that Vox was the one who arranged it and then proceeded to listed off the people who agreed to go, ending with Ike; causing your eyes to go wide and you instantly agreed,

" Great! I'll let Vox know- wait, you said yes when I mentioned Ike! You are so head over heels for that man I swear. " Uki said laughing quietly as you let out a loud scoff,

" I am not! I said yes because a trip to Japan sounds amazing. " You retorted and set your phone down next to you on your bed, Uki being on speaker while you lay down comfortably in bed.

Uki let out a sarcastic ' uh huh, sure', you knew that Uki knew about your little crush on the Novelist. Everyone in Nijisanji knew about your crush on the Novelist, even your Vtuber friends outside of Nijisanji knew about your crush, everyone but Ike himself. He was more than a little oblivious to your affection for him but you didn't mind.

The time came for the trip, you were picked up by Uki at your home, Fulgur, Alban, Shu and Luca were in the car with him. Your group travelled to the airport and boarded the plane with no issues. Arriving in Japan, Vox took the lead and brought everyone to the AirBNB that he booked, getting inside, Vox turned to the group,

" Okay! So there's 7 of us and there's 3 rooms so there will be sharing. I've divided everyone up into their rooms! SO: Group one in the first room will be Me, Shu and Luca. Group two will be Mysta, Sonny and Alban and the last group will be the final four, Uki, Fulgur, Y/N and Ike. " He read off the groups and smiled, " So everyone can go and get settled in and if you have a stream scheduled, feel free to start it! " he said with a smile, ushering Shu and Luca towards their bedroom.

Uki grabbed onto your arm and dragged you towards one of the rooms, Fulgur and Ike following behind, entering the room, there was two beds.

" We'll have to share the beds, Fuu-chan, are you okay with sharing a bed with me? " Uki asked with a smile, Fulgur nodding with a laugh, while Uki looked over to you and Ike, " Are you two okay with sharing a bed? " he asked

Ike hummed quietly and looked at you, not being able to read his expression, you figured he wouldn't be comfortable sharing a bed, you looked around, finding a futon in the closet,

" Here, I'll sleep on the futon. " You said with a smile, Ike looked stunned that you even offered to let him have the bed to himself.

" What? You don't have to Y/N, I don't mind sleeping on the futon or sharing a bed. " Ike chimed in but you declined and said it was okay, not wanting to make him uncomfortable, despite him saying he didn't mind.

After settling in, you decided you were going to do a stream, you called out and asked if anyone wanted to join you while setting up your stream, Mysta scurried in saying he wanted to join, Uki, Alban, Vox, Luca and Ike all joined him and you pulling chairs along to sit with you during the stream.

Your model showed on the screen, and you had put PNGs of those with you on screen, the chat came to life, people greeting you and asking how you were,

" Hello (insert your fandom name here)! I have a surprise! " you said, your model showing a smile, before signaling for everyone with you to say hello, they all did and the chat went crazy, " Yes! Me, Luxiem and Noctyx are in Japan together! " you said happily before everyone cheered.

You went along the stream and said this stream would be a Q&A, so anyone who had any questions for you or your group were free to ask.

Chat: SUPERCHAT ThisSwiftyFan: How long are you guys in Japan together?

You read the superchat and smiled, " Voxxy, you wanna take this one? " you asked, moving your mic towards him so he could speak, he answered the question saying their trip will be about 2 weeks.

Continuing on with the questions, one specific question caught your eye and you answered without thinking and forgetting there was other people in the room with you and completely forgetting Ike was sitting right beside you;

Chat; SUPERCHAT Ittakes2: Hey Y/N, if you could choose one of the guys with you, who would you choose to confess your feelings to?

You hummed after reading the question before starting to speak;

" Well I don't have to choose, I already know who I'd confess to. I would confess to Ike. I.. don't have to think about it because I already have feelings for him. It really wasn't hard to fall for those green eyes and kind personality. " you spoke smiling wide.

The boys around you had gone completely silent, looking between you and Ike's bright red face. Uki leaned over and nudged you, clearing his throat, causing you to jump and look at him,

" What? I just was givin- Oooooh... OH NO-! " you suddenly realized what had just happened, your eyes violently shot towards Ike. Your E/C meeting his green eyes and bright red cheeks. You struggled to speak, trying to find the words to make this situation less awkward than it already was, before quickly standing up and sprinting out of the room in embarrassment.

" Y/N WAIT! " Ike called out but you ignored him, hiding yourself in the bathroom, holding your face in your hands, cursing yourself out for not thinking before answering a question.

A gentle knock on the door came and a soft voice called out, it was Ike.

" Y/N, c'mon open the door. " he called out gently, his knuckles softly meeting the wood of the door. You didn't reply. He kept talking through the door before he spoke again,

" I..i'm happy you gave an honest answer.. because I feel the same way about you Y/N. C'mon open the door. " he spoke softly.

You held your breath and stood up turning around and opening the door, coming face to face with a smiling Novelist. Your arms shot around his neck and his arms went around your waist.

" I love you Eveland... " you whispered into his neck

" I love you too L/N " he replied gently rubbing the small of your back.

He brought you back into the room, the group that joined you for the stream, saw you come in, hand intertwined with Ike's and they broke into a cheer. For the remainder of the trip, your group teased you and Ike. The two of you having two different reactions, Yours was blushing a bright shade of pink before looking away and Ike's was turning bright red and shouting, " CEASE THIS! "

You could feel your heart pounding in your chest, just feet in front of you, the silhouette of him, standing before a large portal. Your heart hammered in your chest as you moved towards him, slowly at first.. Eventually breaking out into a run, your arm outstretched, reaching out to grab a hold of him. Your throat burned, itching to scream for him but nothing seemed to come out.

Breathing heavily, your legs carrying you towards the silhouette, your voice finally breaking the silence,

“ MYSTA! WAIT! “ you yelled, trying to catch up to him, the closer you got the farther away he seemed to get, “ Where are you going?! “ your voice shook as you called to him. He didn’t seem to move or hear your heartbreaking calls for him.

Maybe if I shout louder, he’ll hear me...

That was the only thought in your mind. Your vision started blurring, tears welled up in your eyes, your lower lip trembled as the tears that threatened to fall, finally overflowed and they slowly trickled down your cheeks. You began to blink rapidly trying to get the tears out of your eyes, looking back up to make sure he didn’t disappear, thankfully he was still there.

I still have time...!

you thought, this was your chance to grab him before he disappeared. You couldn’t let him go.

“ Mysta.. please don’t walk away from me.. “ you sobbed out, squeezing your eyes shut.

“ no no no... NO PLEASE MYSTA! “ you screamed. ‘ He’s leaving... He’s going to leave forever.. ‘ no.. Now wasn’t the time to give up. He was within your reach. Just a little further. You HAVE to get to him.

Your legs burned, they weren’t going to make it. Each step became agony, one tear at a time, this was all for him. You needed to see him, hear his voice, hear his laugh, feel his warmth, even if this was the last time. You HAD to get to him.

You were half way there, he was so close you swear your fingertips could brush the fabric of his shirt. But you couldn’t make it. Your legs stopped working so suddenly, you came crashing down onto the ground, scraping your hands, elbows and knees on the ground. You pushed up to your knees, trying to get to your feet but your legs refused to cooperate. Pain shot through your legs, you gritted your teeth, squeezing your eyes shut as tears flowed down your cheeks. You fell back to your knees, your eyes opened wide, the shine you once had slowly faded, knowing Mysta was inches away from you and you couldn’t reach him, your eyes remained fixed on the ground, wide as tears continued to flow down your cheeks.

It was silent but only for a moment, the sound of approaching footsteps made your heart beat speed up more than it already was. A hand went under your chin, slowly lifting your head.

Your swollen, puffy red eyes that were still spilling tears met the gentle, sad blue eyes that belonged to the brunette. A gentle but somber smile graced his features as he knelt down in front of you. Your heart slowed down, having him in front of you, made you let go of a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding.

Mysta’s gloved hands reached down, taking your trembling ones into their embrace, he gently helped you to your feet. Holding tight to your hands. The moonlight illuminated Mysta’s face, it was a hypnotic sight.

“ Hey.. it’s okay, I’m right here Y/N. “ his voice was soft, his hands moving from your hands to your cheeks, cupping your face ever so gently, using his thumbs to wipe away the continuous tears that rolled down your cheeks.

“ Mysta.. What’s happening.. Where are you going? “ you whimpered, looking up at him, your hands moving to grip his forearms tight while he gently held your face in his hands. His facial features relaxed, an expression of sadness washing over his face.

“ It’s time for me to go home love. My journey in your timeline has come to a close, its time to start a new journey. “ he spoke softly, his right hand finding it’s way to your hair, gently playing with it. Your hair slipped through his fingers, it was almost like he was savoring the moment.

“T..take me with you then! We can go through this together, like we always have! “ you said, now having a white knuckle grip on his forearms. He let out a soft chuckle, his eyes closing for a moment before opening them again, you could see his eyes become glossy, tears threatening to fall as tears welled up in your eyes yet again.

“ I’m so sorry Y/N, this time I have to go and do this for myself. “ He whispered, you could hear his voice breaking slightly, he gently pulled you into a tight embrace, your arms shooting around his waist, clinging onto him like he was your lifeline. You didn’t wanna let go.. Not now, not ever. You could hear his heartbeat steady against his chest, “ I’m gonna miss you ya know.. “ he whispered. You did your best to hold back the new wave of tears that threatened to fall.

“ It’s okay to cry... “ he said softly, his grip around you tightening. With those words, you couldn’t hold back and began to sob into his chest. Your grip around him remained bone crushing tight, he couldn’t leave you.. Not now, not like this.. Memories flashed through your head, the echoing sounds of the good times you’ve shared with him. His voice telling jokes and his laughs echoing and ringing in your ears. You then remembered the promise you made to him, the promise to stay by his side forever and follow him to the ends of the earth. Be with him wherever he goes.

“ Well.. It’s time Y/N. I have to go now, I guess this is goodbye. “ He said softly. In that moment, you felt his grip loosen and he finally let go of you. Your arms dropped to your sides, your small frame trembling uncontrollably. He turned back towards the portal that was waiting for him.

“ No... Mysta.. please, don’t leave me.. Not yet, not like this! I’m begging you.. “ You pleaded, reaching back out for him. He turned to look at you, walking closer once more. You looked up at him, your (e/c) meeting his soft blue ones once again.

He reached up, taking his hat off his head and putting it on yours, laughing softly as he leant down and met your eyes again under the brim of his hat,

“ Your timeline needs their own detective to solve the mysteries that come up here. That’s your job now, Detective Y/N. “ he said, the warmth and sadness in his voice evident. He turned and walked back towards the portal, before turning back to you, a calm smile graced his features,

“ Don’t forget me, yeah? “

You watched helplessly, clutching his hat to your chest while tears flowed uncontrollably down your cheeks. His figure walked into the portal, turning to face you, smiling his wide signature smile, lifting his hand waving as the portal then closed.

He was gone. Wherever the wind takes Mysta, going along looking for a new journey to start, always on his mind, his old friends, his Mystakes. But who occupied his thoughts for the rest of his new journey?
