Twelfth Blog!
Eleventh weeksary! i mentioned to my last blog that our product will completely dry after 3-4 days. But, an unexpected thing happened. Since we did our product to a place called Salay, and the presentation of our product held here in Cagayan de Oro, it has to spent few hours to be transported here in CDO. My point is, the presentation scheduled 3 day after from the time we made our product and its completely conflict to the scheduled of the count of the dryness of our product.
All we did was to deliver the product here in CDO by the help of the parents of my teammate without waiting for the completeness of the dryness of our product. We kept on thinking if what will happen to our product, it may be produced cracks or it may crash.
Gladly to say that it was completely mold in form and zero cracks.
Ready to present.
Stay tuned...

Thirteenth Blog!
Twelfth weeksary! or should i say Final Blog! done presenting our pitching but sad to say i was not the one who did the pitching. I know our product is immature (many people already did it) but i know deep inside, we did all our best to present our product elegantly. It was so frustrating that in a one question we reluctantly answered it. But its okay, it’s a lesson to learn to us.
it was a great experience to have a feeling of nervousness, its like a feeling of presenting a thesis in front of the honorary panels. It’s a great opportunity to practice that kind of actions especially to us 4th year students to equipped our selves to our upcoming thesis presentation and defense.
Special thanks to Maam Vida for the advises and sir Bronson for the lessons and realizations you gave to us. THANK YOU.

Eleventh Blog!
Tenth weeksary! For the making of our product/prototype, we gather the materials to be use; the cement, waste debris, sawdust, glass bottles, molder, coarse aggregates and water. First, we crushed the glass bottles into small pieces as one of the replacement for our fine aggregates (which is the sand). After this, we weigh the ingredients for the making of our product. There are 1kg of cement, 11kg of coarse aggregates, 9kg of fine aggregates (5% of sawdust, 5% of crushed glass and 90 percent of crushed waste debris), and an estimation of water.
By the summation of this materials or ingredients in making our product or the CHB (concrete hollow block), we mixed it all in a fine texture as what ordinary making in making the concrete hollow blocks, and then starting to fill the molder to our mixture and then boom! THE CREATION OF OUR CONCRETE HOLLOW BLOCK has began.it will be dry at least 3-4 days.
Waiting to dry.
stay tuned...

BLOG 10!
Ninth weeksary! By the suggestions and realization the panel gave to us, we've gather to the corner to discuss about the creation of our prototype and the modification of our presentation. We've talk about the possible will happen in consideration of our processes in making our prototype like where should we do it, the fundings in costing for the preparation of making the prototype (cost in cement and sand), the crusher machine, and where should we find the molder in making the concrete hollow block. In this meeting, all we did was sharing our informations about where should we find the molder. We even discuss where to find the waste debris, which is the main ingredient of our product. With this, we come-up with the solution that we should make our prototype in the house of our teammate and for the molder, we found out that one of our teammate known a person that has a molder. For the modification of our presentation, all we did was inserting the given suggestions and its costing. Next would be the making of our prototype. Stay tuned...

Ninth Blog!
Eight weeksary! Thanks to Medelyn the presentation was successful and we answered the questions of the panels properly. I can see through Medelyn during her presentation that she’s really nervous and by that I kept on giving her a fighting spirit enable her nervousness will vanish.
During the question and answer, the panel said that the statement of our problem is very clear and that give as a good points to keep on high. Our product and its materials are good and well presented according to them. They even asked what kind of material or machine that can make a debris into aggregates, by that we told them by the use of the crusher machine which can crush a debris of walls or pavement into small pieces that can make them as aggregates.
The only thing that we didn’t include in our every discussion and our every meeting and to our presentation was the cost in processing in which they suggested it to us that we should include it to our presentation and to our basis. They said that when it comes in costing in making the concrete hollow block, the more advantage and cheap is the original in making the concrete hollow block compare to our product which is the concrete hollow blocks using the recycled aggregates. By this, they said that in our case, our product is more expensive than the original made ones in which we though our product is more cheap because of its material used. We didn’t consider the costing in processing like the costing in crushing the debris, transportation, time, and effort.
But, the only consideration we’ve considered was the effective use and the innovative of the debris was our focused. Because we’ve noticed that the usual used of the waste debris was on embankment, so yeah we’ve come-up to use it on concrete hollow block.
The good news was they give us realization that there are other considerations to consider and it is good to know because it give us a more knowledge to gain. It is a plus points to us.
Stay tuned…

Eight Blog!
Seventh weeksary! Finally exam week or should I say hell week is over. Since other subjects are finished, we can now focus to discuss and to talk about our presentation and the prototype of our particular item or product which is the Recycled Aggregate for Concrete Hollow Block using the waste debris during demolition of houses and pavement.
My team and I gathered in the corner to continue to talk and discuss about our presentation. Our agenda was the ways and how to present it well in front of the panels. We also talk about the advantages and disadvantages of our product which is the recycled aggregates into concrete hollow blocks to the original made concrete hollow blocks. We state its differences and its way of making and processing. We also include the limitations in capabilities when it comes in constructing like how many storey it can handle and its strength. Also the opinions can people may give if in case our product may debut. And also we included the possible questions may the panels gives as and the possible answers we can give into them.
With this, since the instruction states that it is ok if there is only one person per team to present and as my team come-up with the decision, we’ve decided that my teammate, Medelyn Nabua was the one to present our presentation in front in behalf of us, her teammates. We come-up with this decision because we’ve noticed that she’s good in speaking in English in public and in front of many people, so yeah.
She’s ready I can see through her. Stay tuned…

Sixth weeksary! So many things happened last week and it’s like a hell. Quiz here and quiz there and I think my brain is going to explode. And again, another hell week to face because its midterm exam. We need to focus to our subject, focus to our studies enable to pass. We should strive hard enable to aim the desired outcome that can make us and our family proud.
With this, my team and I gathered to the corner to discuss about our product. We concluded that since the presentation scheduled after the midterm exam, we should skip first the discussion about our product and proceed to other subject.
So yeah, so sad no interesting updates about to our product and its progress.

Fifth weeksary! So sad to share that technopreneurship is not the only subject that we’ve taken. I know I’m lost when it comes to time management. I cannot handle things when a thing comes at a time to me one by one, and I hate it to be honest. To put it simply, this week is a hell week for us because all the subjects that we’ve taken conducted a quiz schedules and its crazy. And guess what? By next week is our midterm exam and also by the next week of it will be our presentation for our innovative task.
By this unfortunate moment, we’ve been busy studying for the other subjects specially those difficult ones. But there’s no need to worry because we decided already what particular topic for our innovative task.
We finally chosen the topic RECYCLED AGGREGATES FOR CONCRETE HOLLOW BLOCKS. So we made a brief discussion about its specifications, uses, importance, strength, materials, and etc. we also conduct a brief survey like asking our classmates about their opinions to our topic.
By the unfortunate happenings, we prolonged our discussions. Next agenda would be the ideas for the presentation and its prototype.
Stay tuned…

Fifth Blog
Fourth weeksary! So yeah, long holiday break is over and it is the first Sunday of the year 2019. So many things happened that I’ve enjoyed like celebrating Christmas and New Year with my family, relaxing, sleeping, and etc. But skipping school works is a big NO NO.
Since tomorrow is back to school, yesterday until today our group chat was still open for the brainstorming and preparations for our innovative task. We come-up with the ideas for our innovative task like:
·         advance machine used by the farmers for their irrigation system
·         coconut shell replaced for aggregates
·         plastics used for hollow blocks
·         solar power bank
·         recycled aggregate for concrete hollow block
The following ideas have their own advantages and disadvantages. Some are easy to create its prototype and some are impossible for us to create because of our limited capabilities.
We managed to share our opinions and knowledge for every idea we’ve come-up. And also, by the vote of the majority, we’ve finally choose our final topic for our innovative task.
So yeah, stay tuned…

Third weeksary! This day and its week was our holiday break. It was five days later since we’ve celebrated Christmas day. In this case, my team and I didn’t get In touch to each other since we talked about it that we must enjoy first our holiday break together with our families.
Honestly, this blog is uninteresting blog because there is no particular event or happening that I can share related to our proposed innovative task.
So yeah, keep in touch next blog…

Third Blog!
Second weeksary! During our class, Sir Bronson explained what was our activity really mean it. He explained it clearly that this Innovation, our activity, was about changing something that can give a good value to other people. Furthermore, he even explained that we dont need to produce a certain machine, application, or website to our innovation that is not suitable to our course. I mean, we dont need to force our selves just to produced something that is beyond to our capabilities and skills.
That meeting, cleared my unanswered questions about what to do to this certain activity. While Sir Bronson continued to explain, my team and I constructed an interesting idea or concept to do to our innovation.
Unfortunately, we prolonged our discussion again due to a conflict of our time. That time, if i remember, it was the last day of making our project that the last day of submission was on the next day.
Dont worry, we even discussed that we shall resume our discussion in the social media about that particular idea we constructed during our class.
Stay tuned...

Second Blog!
First weeksary! Unfortunately, I was not around in the class due to the conflict of time schedule because i was attending a seminar. I kept on thinking at that time of what kind of idea that is suitable to the needs of my team and to other people.
Days past, my team and i gathered to the corner to discussed about our concept for our proposal. We have different crazy ideas popped to our mind that some of it are possible and some are impossible, like impossible to make base on our capabilities and skills.
Brainstorming made our brains stormed, that it is hard to decide which idea was to be choosen that can give a good benefit to the people. It was hard to think of an idea specially if you dont know exactly what particular activity to do. So many ideas came, so many opinions shared, yet every ideas failed that didnt caught to our standards.
Sad to say, we prolonged our discussion due to lack of understanding about what is our PIT all about, what should we do exactly about this PIT, and what kind of product to make that is related to our course.

First Blog!
Choosing your teammates is difficult especially those kind of mates that are introvert and extrovert. Encountering them makes me wonder if they are truly can complete the word "Team" in constructing a team.
Introvert means, they prefer to spend time alone in order to recharge their inner being or those people that appear to be shy. Our professor said that they are the ones that are good in intellectual activities and tech activities, so meaning they must be present in a team. Extrovert means, someone who recharges their energy from being around people or an outgoing person. With the same professor, he said that extrovert people are good in communicating to other people with respect and joy, so meaning they must be also present in a team.
In my team, i dont think that they have this kind of personality but i can assure that my team can do an extraordinary acts that can make them an introvert or an extrover.
So, where did i find my team? Actually, they're always beside me during class hours, study hours and gala hours. It is best that your teammates are close to each other, because if not, it takes a lot of time to adjust to your personalities that can be best fit to the likes of others. Going back, in my group of friends, we are 15 plus members to be exact, but only three of them can complete my team. It's not like i chose those three because i dont have a choice but i believe that they have the potential that can exceed my expectations. I think, being me as their teammate is a rather "no choice" for them.
By the time us four deciding our team, we agree immediately like, assuring each other if we can handle this kind of task. After that, we said yes, we can!
