Little!Wallace (and a bit of Cg!Mobile!!)

Wallace was always the caretaker. Almost never on the receiving side. It's how it always was, so he says he got quite used to it. He had a ton of experience as a caregiver, but the thought of regressing himself never crossed his mind.

That was until Mobile came along. Who is, as we know, very intense, and likes to ask a lot of very logical questions Wallace can't answer. Which confused him when they first started dating, cause hey, he's the normal, stable, and rational one!

"Daily alcohol consumption is not very rational" "...... :/" "Drinking 2 liters of diet coke every day is not very rational" "...... :/" "Neither is falling asleep in your outside clothes" "Sorry :("

Sad little guy got scolded for the first time since he was 10 and spent the whole evening sulking, apologizing for something that he has little control over and craving comfort. Poor boy. He wanted hugs! Cuddles! He wanted to be told he's good and everything's alright!

And Mobile provided just that, and even let him fall asleep on his lap as he works.

"Have you considered the thought you age regress yourself?" "No" "Clearly".

Wallace would describe his little age as either around 7, or just "Dunno, tinier than usual".

It took him a lot of time to actually learn to accept care when he regresses. His first few times regressing he was anxious he'd be too much, so he kept insisting on how he could do everything himself, he's a big boy, don't worry, he can handle everything!!

Then he got his shoes tied for him and he got very emotional.

Then he got called "Wally" and he cried.

Wallace is a very talkative and attentive little! Needs to know all the gossip even though he's 7 years old. Also asks a ton of questions

"Whatcha dooin? :3 What's that thing for? Did you know that?..."

He's very hard to put down to sleep cause he wants to talk and talk and talk!

I think he'd enjoy hanging out with baby/toddler regressors while he's regressed, and being the big brother!! He's very social, so he has many and many playdates

Also! Little vampire Wallace! It's his favorite play pretend! He wraps a blanket around himself like a cape, makes bite marks with a red marker and runs around munching on fruit and hissing on lamps.

♡ he typically regresses to 7-ish!!! stress will make him regress younger usually but he's pretty 7

♡ he has a stuffed dog from when he was a kid and sleeps with them regressed or not!! they're a big comfort item especially when he's regressed!!!

♡ he absolutely adores ramona's cat and will make scott take him over to ramona's just to see him

♡ speaking of ramona, they are regression friends!!! (and regular friends lol) they love watching movies and coloring together!!!

♡ he's not the biggest fan of pacifiers but he likes and has some chewelery!!

♡ he's not very talkative but he is very giggly ^_^

hey uh I've never done an ask before n I feel awkward but uh idk if ur still taking requests n like it's totally fine if ur not but I think it'd be cool to see like little scott agere where he's like having a hard time dealing with emotions when he's regressed cause everything is big and confusing which leads to outbursts. I feel like everyone always does fluffy stuff and like comfort but it'd be nice to have representation of like the "ugly" side idk I can't word stuffff. but like basically i think it'd be cool to see little regressed scott like acting out or having a tantrum because emotions are hard when you're a toddler and it'd be cool to see how wallace handles that ok sorry this is long n weird but ty for reading I'm sorry 😭😭😭😭

Scott Pilgrim Agere Headcanons

Scott usually has the most bad days and tantrums when Envy gets involved somehow.

When he's upset like this, it's usually due to a build up of little stressors piled up throughout the day. Envy is usually the last straw for him.

He has a bad habit of pulling at his own hair when he feels this way, which leads to more crying over how it's too long.

He has sensory issues, so if a sensation makes him uncomfortable, sometimes it leads to incomprehensible yelling on Scott's part.

Wallace feels horrible for feeling this way, but he gets deeply frustrated with Scott when Scott's in the middle of a breakdown or tantrum while regressed.

^Wallace doesn't see Scott as a burden, but he does sometimes use harsh words or yell at little Scott out of stress when he doesn't know how to help. It often leads to the silent treatment from Scott.

If it's not a loud tantrum that comes up, Scott completely shuts down. He'll lay on the floor in the dark and think about nothing until Wallace steps in to do something about it.

^When Scott shuts down, Wallace usually picks him up and holds him like a small baby, and rocks him gently back and forth, and whispers compliments to Scott.

"You're my special little baby..", "I love my sweet boy..", "Look at your cute hair..", "Such an adorable little one..", etc.

Scott always feels guilty when he leaves his little space and remembers his tantrums in hindsight, but Wallace always reassures him.

The best way for Scott to recover from bad days like that is a long nap, cuddles, extra stuffed animals, extra quiet time, and more sweet words.

Sorry if it's not a lot, and I'm sorry it's so late, but I've got a lot on my plate lately.

Caregiver! Wallace and Little! Scott

Wallace, maybe, didn't know the term 'age regresion' but knew that something was up.

Sometimes there were situations, where Scott would act much more childish than usual, and when confronted about it afterwards, he would deny it and act very defensive about it.

For example, the other night Wallace woke up with Scott curled up against his chest, his thumb stuck in his mouth. Wallace gently petted him on the back, and he let out a soft cry, hugging Wallace tighter.

"What? That didn't happen. You're making it up". "It totally did happen, bro, deny it all you want". "You were just drunk and imagining things!"

And Scott leaves the house as fast as possible, face red from embarrasment.

Then it happens again the next night, Scott against his chest, sucking on his thumb.

Wallace got an idea. He ruffled Scott's hair and Scott, predictably, let out a cry.

"Hey, Scott. Scotty. Buddy, we gotta wake up"

"I don't wanna-a!" Wallace chuckled, noticing that he sounds a bit softer and high-pitched than usual.

"I bet you don't, but we can't just stay in bed forever, can we?" Wallace shifts his position into a sitting now, Scott now being on his lap, hanging on his neck, whining softly. "There we go... Hey, pal, can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how old you are? You can show me with your fingers if you're shy".

Scott goes quiet for a moment, and then hesitantly shows Wallace 3 fingers.

"Very good. Thank you, Scott, you are being very helpful right now. I know it takes a lot of courage to admit things. You sure are a brave boy". Scott smiles so very gently. "Now, do you want to watch cartoons while i make us breakfast?"

And general headcanons:

Scott regresses either to 3 to 4 year old toddler or to a baby

They never established a parental title for Wallace, so toddler Scott just calls him by his name. However, baby Scott can't articulate words well, so he just pointed at Wallace one time and went "mama!!" Wallace accepted that.

Scott is a very talkative little, he likes to swing his legs while sitting at the table, telling Wallace everything about his day, all the cool bugs he saw and a level in the videogame he beat.

Wallace tends to take Scott play outside a lot, cause they both need that fresh air!!

Scott's the type of little to chew and suck on EVERYTHING. His thumb, his shirt, blankets, his toys, even crayons and markers. The first little gear Wallace ever bought him was a pacifier and two teethers, cause Scott just put anything in his mouth without thinking twice.

He also bought him a toy truck and an Eevie plush, which were also a hit.

Wallace lo-o-oves nicknames, sticking them in almost every sentence, but he tends to keep the overly sweet ones to himself. His usual go-to's are 'buddy', 'pal', 'kiddo' and 'champ'. He occasionally uses 'sweetheart' when Scott's being extra clingy and vulnerable.

He also calls him a tiny menace, as a cool title😎

Scott still really likes videogames when he's small, but he tends to stick to simplier ones, and sometimes he asks Wallace to help him beat them.

simon petrikov and betty grof as caregivers!

they are both SO nerdy!!! always telling their regressor silly little random facts they know.

they love to read to their little one. they always take turns picking out story’s at bedtime. simon likes more educational books, like the ones for kids about planets and science. betty likes the cute, cozy ones with animals that usually tell a lesson about friendship or life.

one of their favorite bonding activities is taking their little one to the library! they go to the little kids area and sit in the tiny chairs while their little excitedly picks out books. simon will show them the books he’s published as well!

“mama mama look!” the little one toddled over to betty and simon, who sat at a tiny table.

betty gasped, taking the children’s book in her hand. “oh my! what did you pick out, bug?”

ahhhh i can just imagine like simon falling asleep at his desk after overworking himself and his kiddo putting a little blanket over him and kissing his forehead! they want to do what mama does!

speaking of working, sitting on simon’s lap while he does very important research! he gives you your own little notebook to scribble on so you don’t get bored! you always draw cute little pictures of the three of ya’ll :)

CUDDLES!!! omg!!! i feel like betty would be SUCH a cuddle monster. she’s always snuggling you and simon in some way! sometimes she’s mischievous though.

“hey simon, feel how cold my hands are!” betty said, shoving her (very) cold hands up the back of simon’s sweater.

“wha- OW,” he yelped at the sudden rush of coldness on his skin. “kiddo help! your papas being attacked!”

simon loved to do little things to make you feel even smaller. tying your shoelaces, cutting up your food, laying out and ironing your clothes for the next day. it’s really sweet :)

neither of them are very strict or have a firm set of rules, but that doesn’t mean they don’t teach their little one good behavior! betty always makes sure you tell people “please” and “thank you”. simon always makes sure you get a good three meals a day in!

they both LOVE to tell you stories about their adventures, granted you weren’t with them. simon’s a really good storyteller! betty is funny when telling stories because she’s always laughing too much and can never fully finish the story.

i think simon would be a HUGE coffee drinker and of course his little one is always asking for a sip. he always tell them no because he doesn’t think they would like it but they still beg.

simon sighed and gently tilted the coffee mug towards his littles mouth. “alright honey, you can try it.”

the little eagerly took a sip. after swallowing, their face scrunched up into one of disgust. simon had to bite back an “i told you so.”

tears suddenly sprang to their eyes. “it’s icky an hot papa!”

simon cooed, rubbing their back. “i’m sorry little one, papas sorry. how about we make you some hot chocolate instead?”

the petrigrof household is super cozy! there’s always blankets and warm sweaters to go around! betty loves to wrap her little one up in a blanket burrito and just snuggle them!

they love their little so much and cherish every moment! i think the two would both be natural caregivers!

Mama Betty + Papa Simon Headcanons

Betty will often take you out of the house and just to anywhere. Whether that be the park, library, or just on a walk, she loves going outside with you!

Simon loves to explain ancient objects and artifacts to you. You’ll often ask seemingly dumb questions to get your papa rambling.

Simon’s usually good at stopping tantrums, while Betty will just give you whatever you want to stop the tears, usually out of panic. Simon also gives in to this as well at times.

Betty loves when you help her cook. You are usually the mixer/taste tester. She’ll gladly infodump about what spices work and don’t work for a dish.

Whenever your stuffy accidentally tears, Simon’s the person to go to for repair. He’ll often add small embroidery to the stuffy when you take a nap.

Betty can usually pick you up and cradle you, while Simon’s not strong enough. Betty and you often tease him about it.

Simon and Betty will show you pictures of them (pre-canon) and share stories of their explorations

As a prank, you’ll often hide Betty and Simon’s glasses somewhere around the house. They both know where you’ve placed them, but they like to act dumb and “plead” with you to help them find the glasses.

(Gonna add some post(??) Fionna and Cake Multiverse stuff where Betty is turned back into a human and stays in Ooo with everyone else!)

You often have playdates with a regressed Marcy and Fionna. Most play dates end with Simon being “forced” into a princess tea party. Betty will gladly take photos and tease him. Marcy and Fionna are also your sibbies!
