dropping.

so it’s probably been really obvious from the lack of replies and activity on jaewon but as much as i love my tiny trouble maker it’s been hard for me to find muse on him and the will to keep him here. i’ve attempted several times to keep him up and to keep the muse fresh but sadly it’s not happening :(

thanks to everyone who’s plotted with him & anyone who has any single type of r/s with him! i’m really sorry for having to drop him! 

let’s just say that jaewon’s dad has finally had Enough Of His Shit and has shipped him of to london or the us or something just... far away....

it does if you don’t know whose bed you’re in -  /   the words come as a mutter, but he doesn’t shift or make a move to pull away from jaewon’s hand despite the offhanded complaints.  words are long and drawn out in too many syllables, pretending to be tired when now he’s anything but.  so much for getting jaewon to sleep when he came over.   /  - yah!  /   and so, he freezes - the feeling of lips brushing against the shell of his ear, warm breath ghosting over his skin makes him frown makes his heart beat.   /  what do you think you’re doing?  /   it’s like this that gunhee knows jaewon is drunk, the sing song voice and the childish demands only making him roll his eyes.  but he gives in until he rolls over with half annoyed eyes and almost too close.  he blames jaewon’s vicinity, and his best friend’s lack of personal space.   /  so you’ve got my attention - you can stop pinching me now.  /   licking his lip, he tries to broaden the distance; it’s a little awkward now that jaewon is so close, face to face.   /  now what?

he knows he hasn’t been the best hyung, personal issues and training schedule always somehow getting in the way of time he can spend with seungyoun. which is exactly why he’s decided to repay seungyoun through some sort of boy-to-boy night. or boy-to-boy conversation. 

he doesn’t make his apartment too special –– all that’s set is really some good beer and chicken he’d gotten from a personal favourite store. back with his grandmother in ulsan, he’d honestly gotten so much time alone –– so much time to think about the issues of life a lot more. like which came first, the chicken or the egg? how do mermaids pee? since seungyoun is dating a guy how do they... do things?

of course he hadn’t googled the last question, deciding instead that it’d be an interesting topic of conversation for the two of them later on (and he’d much rather hear it first hand, at least then the information would be accurate). 

it’s when seungyoun finally arrives at his place does jaewon beam, greeting his dongsaeng with a tight hug before he throws him a look, the one he makes when he’s thinking hard. “oh?” he blinks, surprised that seungyoun had caught on so quickly. “nothing! i was just thinking about the issues of... life... love... sex...” he begins almost nonchalantly. “have a seat! i got us beer and chicken!”

it’s been way too long since they last were in each other’s company – between both their schedules, and jaewon practically falling off the face of the planet for an unknown amount of time it’s left seungyoun feeling out of sorts and a little bit abandoned.  that’s why he looks to this meeting in trepidation; jaewon seems to be trying hard to lift his spirits but seungyoun’s grudges always spread miles long.  regardless, he agrees – because he wants to spend time with jaewon, wants his affection despite the spite that lingers in his heart and poisons his angry blood.  

the way to jaewon’s place is familiar, and he has a bag in his hand that’s full of the movies that he wants to watch because hell if his hyung is going to get any say this time – the door feels familiar under his knuckles as if seungyoun was just here yesterday even though it’s been far too many months.  

and when jaewon answers the door, it’s with a glint in his eye that seungyoun knows could mean big trouble.  it’s either that or something really, really dumb.  ( when it comes to jaewon, he always works in extremes. ) seungyoun decides to say nothing about it until after he steps into the hall and toes out of his shoes.  it’s after shutting the door behind him with a click and a raised brow that screams i can see through you that he says, “ ……. what are you looking at me like that for, hyung?”

ice cream, you scream

he’d promised her ice cream after the evaluations and jaewon was not the kind of guy to go back on promises made with cute girls. specifically (in his humble boyish opinion) the cutest girl in kt. 

just the other day he’d gone up to yeri whilst in the middle of break and with his usual smile had put his hand on her shoulder and said, “i’m treating you out this saturday to some ice cream so make sure you’re free!” it was his way to repay her for helping him out. truth be told he hadn’t been the most social around kt in a while but with yeri there the days had been a lot more fun.

he’d reminded her just this morning that he’d wait for her by the kt entrance and jokingly urged for her to wear something “cute” ( “though you always look cute!” he added on later, still grinning).

so after his last class, jaewon had walked on over to the locker room and slipped himself into something a lot more comfortable. a simple black tee and jeans along with his favourite cap (he knew his face would complete the look anyway) before walking over to the kt entrance, body leaned against the door and phone in one hand.
