whenever it came to kai , especially when it came to his touches and lips on hers it seemed like all the self-control she’d exerted over the past weeks went , like water crashing through a broken dam . how quickly she can get lost into his kiss . his touches . it was a blissful oblivion as the world fell away and it would be just them . Unlike the prison world , there were people now and sure enough someone will see them . Not that she cared , but considering who kai is , she was sure someone would think that she didn't know . that is the furthest from the truth . Kai never pretended on who he is , what he did , and what he was capable of . She didn't reject him , never turned away from him after listening to what he had done . when davina heard his story when they went to Portland in the prison world , the witch was angered by how he was treated . THEY DESERVED IT . she didn't think she was a SAINT . she had her own coven to deal with and killed plenty of them , including her own mother .

Davina saw kai for who he is and accepted him as he is . When he pulled away , it only left her wanting more . The feeling of his lips still lingering on hers as she bit her lesser lip in want and gave him a look as if asking why did you stop . Yet his next words did took her by surprise . A DATE . ❝ ⸻ You don't have to leave the house just to pick me up . ❞ She found herself laughing . Nodding and smiling at the idea of a date with kai . ❝ I would love to go on a date with you . ❞ Albeit , she was sure the night would end as they did ; tangled in their sheets and with every gesture , every caress , every touch , every glance , every last bit of their body that has its secret , brings happiness to the person who knows how to wake it . She wasn't sure when she started to fall for him but she knew she wanted more and would wait for him to figure it out when it came to his own feelings .

❝ like I said before , kai , I want to see and learn all sides of you ... especially those darker parts of you. ❞ Davina wasn't planning on running away and she had accepted them . Kai is who he is . when you want to love someone , truly love , davina believed that accepting and loving their darker parts comes with it . not wanting to change who they are . ❝ I don't think he'll ever hurt me ... ❞ Davina had loved Kol . She still did as much as she loved the rest of them , especially hope . As she entered their home , davina waited for kai to place the bags on the counter as she took off her jacket to put some of the bottles away and leave one out for them . ❝ ⸻ I don't know ... I care about kol and his family ... But all i thought about was YOU . ❞ She admitted as she looked at him .

The pad of his thumb brushes over her knuckles, giving her hand a soft squeeze in return as he lets her words sink in. Kai was GOOD with actions, maybe not in the way she meant - but he could be given the chance, and she was - giving him that chance. Kai had been completely TRANSPARENT with Davina about who he was, what he’s done and who he’s killed and she still put up with him. She’d likely deny it, given her own past, the missing part of her soul and those dark impulses she got every now and then, but she was a SAINT. Without so much as a word, Kai took one step in front of her. A hand came up to gently, but firmly caress the back of her neck as he leaned down and crashed his lips onto hers. It was easy for Kai to get lost in the kiss with her, a fact that scared him - how easy it was for him to get completely lost in her. The noise around them became mute as Kai deepens the kiss a fraction, teeth ever so gently nipping at her bottom lip, tongue quickly lashing out to soothe the place he had nipped. His hand falls from her neck, down to waist where his fingers linger for a few seconds before he takes the bag from her before finally pulling away - hues dropping to her now swollen kissed lips, “Let’s go on a date.” The words came then, “A proper one.” Most of their time was spent tangled in sheets and as much as he loved that, he wanted more than that. “I’ll even leave the house only to come back and pick you up.” He threw the suggestion out there with a smile. 

He let her sit on it, falling back to her side then as they continued the walk to the house. “More, huh?” He asks with a chuckle, looking over to her. “I can do that.” He thought about the painting that she would conjure up with the prompt they had given her, “Hm, that sounds completely enticing.” Something he wondered if they’d hang up in the living room, or the privacy of their bedroom. “Well, I can’t wait to see you work on it.” He liked watching her get lost in the art she did, covered almost head to toe in the acrylic paints. He listened as she spoke of her encounter with Kol - which in a not so surprising twist, went a lot better than his. He almost felt bad for the poor lad, at the rude awakening he’d likely get. Just almost, and only because before he and Davina ever did anything - she had ended things with Kol. His hand tightened on hers just a fraction, feeling her gaze on his. “I won’t let him hurt you.” Kai would kill him before he could, or at the very least send him to a nifty little prison world. Making those was fun. But even as he said it, he knew Kol would never be stupid enough to actually hurt Davina. He had loved her, that had to count for something. When their house came into view, Kai fished his keys out of his pocket to unlock the door, “How do you feel about everything he said?”

REGUARDING DAVINA'S CHILDHOOD + FIRST KILL ⸻ Davina’s  mother  never  paid  any  attention  to  her  unless  it  was  beneficial  to  her   .  Her  mother  had  worshiped  the  Ancestors  and  having  Davina  was  not  part  of  her  plans  but  she  had  her  anyways  .  Growing  up  the  unstable  relationship  with  her  mother  ,  whom  she  barely  acknowledges  the  older  she  grew  ,  were  barely  there.  Only  time  her  would  even  pay  attention  to  davina  was  when  she  was  insulting  ,  condescending  towards  her  ,  or  being  the  transgression  of  her  anger  .  So,  when  she  had  been  chosen  for  the  Harvest  ,  that  was  the  first  time  her  mother  had  told  her  that  she  had  been  proud  of  her  ,  but  only  because  her  magic  would  replenish  the  earth  and  the  ancestors  .  In  reality  ,  Davina’s  mother  never  cared  about  Davina  living  or  dying  ,  she  only  cared  about  the  magic  that  would  fuel  their  coven  .  When  the  day  finally  came  davina  cried  and  beg  for  her  mother  to  help  her  out  but  she  only  turned  her  back  on  her.  In  the  chaos  of  it  all  when  Marcel  came  to  put  a  stop  to  the  harvest,  davina  was  the  one  who  killed  her  own  her  mother  that  night  .

Taking the neck of the bottle, Rebekah works on getting it open as she looks up to Hayley. "First, you are not." Rebekah laughs, "Because if you are, then I am. And we are forever in our prime." A grace of immortality, "Now, tell me all about this date." She slides the wine glass her friends way.

Caroline brought a sense of ease and comfort in her presence, over the years Aiden's gotten close with the family, spending holidays and everything else with them. They were his family, and he loved them. "Yeah, I'm okay." He answers, the smile on his lips. "I was just seeing if my sister has come back." It's been over a hundred years since her death, one part of him hoped that she found peace and wanted to stay there, another, more selfish part of him wanted her back. "So far, nothing." A half smile at that, one that didn't reach his eyes. "How's everything with you?" Caroline, being the headmistress, had a lot more to deal with.

"Oh, thank you." Jenna smiled, taking the keys from the other woman. It was better for Selena if she didn't know about the supernatural. So compelling her was the best thing for the human. "Are you off tomorrow?" The blonde questioned, she did her best to keep humans safe. "If you aren't in a rush to get home, I would love some company out here. But if you are, don't worry about it." She gave her a small smile.

The people here were definitely different and interesting to the werewolf.

She wanted more - deserved more. Kai WANTED to give her more, he just... didn't know how. A muscle in his jaw ticked, teeth sinking into the flesh of his teeth as hues stayed locked on hers. Her tone was light, but Kai knew on some level she meant it. "Things like this are... hard for me." Things with Davina came easy though, "Promise, I won't always be so... dry? Just give me a little more time." A silent plea to not give up on him.

A smirk etched onto his lips then, "Well we wouldn't want to keep you cold." He responds with a laugh. "You mean me and my million other personalities weren't enough to make you feel crowded all those years?" A light joke as he enveloped his fingers through hers, "What's the piece that you're going to be doing?" Kai enjoyed watching Davina as she got lost in her art. "Oh yeah?" He asks, brow lifted as he looks over to her, "How did that go?"

She was bound and stuck to a town in return . she never told him about the missing piece of her soul either ...

the words hurt the other. of course he was going to leave and calm and come back and apologise to her. that was his plan but instead she disappeared. "no... you don't think i've replayed my words over and over every day for the last five year... wondered if you were still alive... I tried my hardest to find you... you didn't give up on me when I was dead..." he reminded her, "Do you think so little of me and my love for you that I wouldn't do the same?" he asked. "I don't want to fight with you either davina... I love you... you're the only person I've loved, you changed me for the better... and losing you broke me... and now you're back and we're arguing.."

"Yeah..." Aiden listened to his friend on the other end of the phone as he went on, fingers combing through the unruly brown locks before sitting back. "Just let me know if you hear anything, I can't imagine it'll be a smooth adjustment if they're back." Once the dead started coming back, Aiden held out hope that his sister was among them but it's been thirty years so that hope has slowly been coming undone. He didn't know what he'd do if she was back either though, not with Lorcan also most likely back. "Thanks, man. Yeah, I'll talk to you later." Despite his past he did deserve better . He was an outcast , isolated and frankly , treated like shit his entire life for being a siphoner and then blamed for snapping . She would have snapped too . She DID when she killed her own mother during the harvest and others . something she confessed back then . She wanted to hunt down everyone whoever hurt him . ❝ I'm sure it is . Luckily I have you to keep me warm if I get cold . ❞ davina nodded away once kai handed her the lighter bag and thought about her day . ❝ ⸻ Not really eventful . Just sort of getting used to seeing a crowd compared to the last 5 years . I got commissioned for an art work and ran into kol earlier . ❞ davina spoke as he lead the way . with her free hand , she reached out to entwine her with his .

I'm just into you. A muscle in his jaw ticked, one hand coming up between them to gently lift her chin, the pad of his thumb ghosting over her lesser lip. "That's good, because I happen to also be into you." Long ago Kai had locked any emotion that wasn't blind murderous rage behind an impenetrable cage, but with Davina it was different. He saw her and she HIM and she still didn't run, call him any of the many names he's been called before. No, instead - there was nights that she slept peacefully beside him. The smirk itched on his lips as she pulled him closer by the belt, eyes locked on hers, his head tilting to the side just barely at her comment. "Nothing at all is my personal favorite." He wasn't picky but he liked the time he and Davina took to themselves, escaping from whatever troubles lay out within their home. And he'd be lying to himself if he said he wasn't recalling the times she was in nothing at all. "I can't really think of anything." That was a LIE, he could, but nothing he needed to buy. Kai could argue and say he got the bags, it was fine - but he knew Davina, so with that, he hooked one of the lighter bags over her fingers before stepping to her side to lead them out of the store. "So, what did your day consist of?"
