His Lucky Star
Awhile ago I asked for sonamy headcanons (and I’m always hungry for more!) and I received the most beautiful headcanon from @hedgethemaze and I just had to illustrate it!
Thank you @hedgethemaze for the opportunity to draw your short story 😊
You can read Hedge’s original headcanon below the cut:
Sonic and Amy’s favorite nighttime pastime is stargazing 🌙⭐🌠👀
Amy enjoys making out constellations and discovering new figures drawn in the sky and would occasionally make up stories with them – She knows Sonic finds this a bit childish, but appreciates that he doesn’t let it show and listens to her stories, instead (even participating once in a while, throwing in some action to keep them from being too daydream-y lol).
Sometimes, looking at the stars would remind Sonic of Starfall Islands – of cyber space – of Amy being at arm's length yet, an entire plane of existence out of his reach. The thought makes him reach for her hand as they lay on their backs on the grass, with a whole new appreciation for the feel of her hand nestled in his - Amy, aware of the gnawing memory, would shift her hand and intertwine their fingers, successfully chasing the memory away.
And some other times, she’d say those stories are just bedtime-story-practice to tell their 'future' child/children, only to tease him because there’s nothing as amusing to her as watching Sonic go from cool blue to cherry red live in record time 😆
About stargazing - it occurred to me that it could be more than likely for Sonamy to catch sight of a shooting star.
Well, I imagine Sonic would notice Amy staring at the shooting star in silence, knowingly waiting for her to say something but then the star disappears from view and he'd say "huh... kinda thought you were gonna wish something for a sec,"
Amy, realizing what he means, would jump a little on her spot next to him, they'd still be holding hands, but she scooches over and rests her head on his shoulder.
"Oh! Well, actually," she rubs her cheek on his shoulder and her grip on his hand tightens "I have everything I could wish for already."
Sonic notes she's got her eyes closed, now more interested in the warmth their bodies are sharing amidst the nightly breeze. Sonic blushes, hoping in vane she doesn't notice his body getting warmer at her statement.
"What about you? Don't you have any wishes?" Amy is genuinely curious (she can feel his awkwardness, so she doesn't tease him 'this time').
Sonic looks away, the hand that's not being held by Amy scratches a very reddish cheek, taking a deep breath to cool himself, "Nah..." the shyness quickly evaporating from his voice and he braves returning her gesture by, ever so slightly, snuggling against the top of her head. Leaving Starfall in the past, to focus on the present, Sonic's already made up his mind. "I'm good, Ames."

I’m see a lot of negativity on social media as of late and it’s depressing the hell out of me. So I’m going to challenge you to do a small task: tell me ONE thing that you’ve liked seeing from Sonic media as of late. It can be anything! It can be excitement for SCU, Prime, games, comics, spinoffs, fan creators, whatever. Do not limit yourself here. I don’t like to see people upset because they have a love for something.
I’ll go first in sharing my one positive thing that I’ve liked as of late.
For me, I’ve really enjoyed seeing all of the fanart and fan theories that you’ve shared with me these past couple of weeks. Seeing artwork of upcoming Sonic content and fan projects is the highlight of my day. I love it! The same can be said with fan theories; reading them inspires others and allows artists to create their own interpretations to share with the world. And if theories click, fan can easily build upon them. That unification of a fandom is always a pleasure to see on my dash.
Continue to create and inspire others!

I know that this sounds silly but I’m still worried about it. I’m worried with what people have said at cinema con that Shadow’s model didn’t change. I’m worried that he’s still going to look like the super sonic recolor. It was very obvious that it was super sonic and not shadow. I want my boy to look good and reflect him the best possible way. I’m hoping for a design tweak
Tumblr media
Hi Hon❤️✨
It’s perfectly okay to feel a bit stressed over the idea, I promise. I think that the comparison note that some viewers made was because it resembled the art style and design of the movies. Other than the artwork that was made of Shadow back in March, the post credit scene of Shadow is really all that we have of Movie!Shadow.
If it helps, Tyson Hesse has shared on Twitter that his design will be tweaked for the third film. Shadow will look different in the film than what he was with the second film. (Think of how Tails’ design was tweaked a bit in between the first and second film😉).

A/N: lately I've been thinking about how cute Xavier is 🥺 so I decided to write this. Of course I am tagging fabulous @lovelynim because I'm gifting this to her just because I love her MWAH!
This one is heavily inspired by that card where he is in bed shirtless and with bandages, but it's not based on the story of that card!
Also I don't have a title for this one dkdnf it happens
Words: 900+
Tumblr media
Sweet, frantic laughter echoed throughout the whole room. A certain hunter was currently losing his head because another certain hunter was straddling his hips and tickling a horribly ticklish spot at the sides of his chest, right underneath his armpits. Your fingers were lethal but gentle against his bare skin, wiggling and digging and vibrating at that spot until Xavier was cackling and nearly crying. The poor man tried to grab your hands, but goodness, his arms stubbornly pressed against his sides in a futile attempt to make you stop, so his hands were quite useless at the moment.
Xavier tried to get up, he squirmed from side to side and arched his back, he also kicked his legs behind you, but it was all worthless because your fingers seemed to be glued to his sensitive skin, refusing to let him go so you could listen to his beautiful laughter.
"What do we have here?” You said with rather a happy expression. “Is my cute little Xavier ticklish?"
Xavier shook his head and he tried to hold back his laughter, but a quick vibration of your fingers in that spot made him throw his head back with cackles. "PLEHEASE!” He begged, his face and ears pink. “I dihihihidn’t- ahahahaha!"
"He really is ticklish! Look at that big smile! Wakey wakey, Xav! It's time to get up!” You teased, giggling to yourself as you saw his nose scrunching up and his beautiful smile curling his lips up.
Maybe you were being a little mean at the moment. He had just woken up not even twenty minutes ago and you were torturing him like this– did he deserve it? Probably not, but who would stop you? Certainly not him.
You chuckled, “You really are extremely ticklish, Xavier. That's too dangerous,” you said with a fake worried voice, grinning down at him. “What will you do if you ever encounter a wanderer that releases tickling gas? You wouldn't be able to make it to the hospital, that is for sure!”
Xavier wrapped his arms around himself and weakly tried to push your hands away from him when he found your wrists, but he didn't have any strength laughing like that.
“But don't worry, my star,” you continued, wiggling your fingers in. “I’ll definitely get the medicine all the way to where you are! You can count on me for that and more! I'm really good, right?” You giggled as he weakly nodded his head.
He really looked so pretty laughing like that. Was it the first time you ever saw him like this? It was like watching a child giggle, your heart swelled in your chest and happiness overflowed you. You looked down at him with fond eyes and a warm smile.
“Oh no, Xavier,” you said over his laughter, playfulness dripping from your words. “I really can't stop… I want to see you laughing forever.”
Xavier shook his head, “I cahahan't laugh fohohorever, I wihihill dihihie! WAHAHAIT!”
It was easy to quickly pin one of his arms above his head and the other under your knee. You didn't immediately start tickling him, wanting to give him a break for him to catch his breath, but Xavier was laughing and squirming around as if you were attacking him already.
“What's so funny, Xav? I'm not doing anything, am I?”
“I- I knohohow, b-buhut it tihickles alreheady!”
Warmth spread across your cheeks and something akin to thick honey filled your chest. How could he be so adorable like this? You giggled softly, leaning down to kiss his nose.
“And it's gonna tickle even more!”
Xavier threw his head back with frantic, loud laughter. He tightly shut his eyes, squeezing little tears of laughter out. His arms pulled, but you were holding him nicely and there was no way to go for him. Scribbling, poking, digging, pinching, you made sure to tickle his exposed underarm as best as you could and he went crazy under your touch, kicking his legs and trying to roll on his side.
“PLEHEHEASE NOHOHOHO!”
“Xavier,” you said in a rather serious tone. “This is very important. What technique tickles the most? I'm gonna do them all again, but slower okay? Here it goes!”
Needless to say, Xavier was unable to say which technique tickled the most. Halfway through that, between squeals and snorts, his laughter became silent and that was your cue to stop. Xavier lay in bed, exhausted and chuckling as if your hands were still searching for that charming laugh of his, but you were lying next to him with your head in your hand, looking at him with that loving smile that always made him blush.
“I… actually didn't know I was ticklish…,” he admitted sheepishly, looking at you with tender eyes and a smile on his lips.
You raised both eyebrows, “what? You didn't? Then was I the first person to ever tickle you?” He nodded and you giggled. “It must be my lucky day then! How was it?”
Xavier hesitated, “Well…”
“Eek!”
In a moment, you were facing the ceiling, Xavier straddling you as his fingers found their way under your arms. Your laugh was embarrassingly loud, but you couldn't help it.
“I think I should live the full experience before deciding if I liked it or not. Of course that includes returning the favor. Tell me, is this how you did it? Oh, I forgot that I have to raise your arms, right?”
You definitely asked for this, but it was worth it. After all, him attacking you back didn't erase the fact that he was still ticklish and you still had many other tickle spots to try out!

"Zayne!" You shrieked, laughing as you circled the couch to put it between you two. "I'm s-serious!" You warned, but that stupid, wobbly smile was already on your lips and you couldn't sound serious at all. "I am too," he said calmly, although a little playful smile pulled at the corners of his mouth as he chased you around. This had become a common scene, all because Zayne 'can only warm his cold hands with you." What a jerk.
"Stay still, would you? I'm just trying to warm my hands," he said as he pinned you down against the couch and pushed his freezing hands under your arms, his long fingers wiggling, tickling you. You shook your head, laughing like crazy. "NOHOHO! It tihihickles! Plehehease!" You said, completely incapacitated by Zayne, legs kicking, but overall just taking his lethal tickling.
"I'm gonna gehehehet sihihihick!" You begged, tears of laughter already clinging to your lashes as those mean fingers kept wiggling and digging under your arms. Zayne chuckled and he shook his head. "I am very sure you won't get sick. I am not that cold," he said with a tender, playful smile and you squealed. "You're freeeheheezing! Z-ZAHAHAYNE!" Ah, he wasn't planning to stop any time soon, huh? Poor you!

64. With Sonic and Tails 💙✨️💛
64. "I'll stay until you fall asleep." Set right before the epilogue of "Sometimes the Picket Fence isn't Perfect"
“Lights out in ten, little buddy!”
Sonic called down to the workshop at twenty minutes past nine.
At a quarter to ten, freshly showered with quills and teeth brushed, he noted that his little brother’s room was still empty.
“C’mon, Tails! Whatever gizmo you’re working on can wait,” Sonic hollered for him again.
“I’ll be up in a minute!” the six-year-old shouted back.
“You’re out of minutes, keed. That’s what you shoulda said half an hour ago.”
“You were in the shower! How do you know that I didn’t?”
With a snort, Sonic shook his head. “Alright, smart guy. Five minutes,” he chuckled, then headed into the living room and flopped onto the couch with every intention of waiting for Tails to scamper his fluffy, two-tailed behind up the workshop steps and into bed.
He hadn’t meant to fall asleep.
Five minutes to midnight, Sonic jerked awake mid-snore. He couldn’t tell what woke him, only that the light in the living room was still on and his hand was asleep from where he’d had it pinned beneath his head. Flexing his fingers, the pins and needles traveled up his arm as blood flow returned to each digit. Sonic sat up with a wince, then stretched his arm out and stood from the couch. He sleepily shuffled over to turn out the lamp and head to bed properly. He needed a good night’s sleep in preparation for tomorrow—
A loud clang came from downstairs.
Sonic’s fingers stilled on the light switch as his ears swiveled towards the basement door. A glance at the clock assured him of the hour while he listened, decently sure he heard the sound of something—or someone—scurrying around below him. Humming to himself, he flicked the switch off. A strip of light crept up the wooden steps from the workshop. With a sigh, Sonic padded down the steps, purposefully stepping on the creakiest boards along the way.
He heard a soft gasp, then a muffled metallic thump from inside the Tornado. Sonic placed his hand on his hip as he fixed the biplane with a drowsy, but ultimately unimpressed, stare. He tapped his socked foot against the concrete floor, mentally counting to five before heaving another sigh as he strolled over to the Tornado’s fuselage.
“Look, big guy, I get it. I’m not usually a stickler for this kinda thing, but we do have a pretty important appointment tomorrow. Getting a good night’s sleep would probably be in our best interest, wouldn’t you say?” Sonic leaned against the plane, drumming his fingers against the red paint. “I’m sure whatever the Tornado needs can wait until tomorrow. You keep her in great shape.”
Tails didn’t say anything.
Sonic’s heart skipped a traitorous beat against his better judgment, fingers drumming a little bit faster to keep up. He’d heard Tails. He was in here—he knew he was. He hadn’t taken off in the middle of the night while he was sleeping—
“C’mon, bud. You really want me to play the bad guy? ‘Cuz I will. I’ll do it.” Though he forced it into his voice, his grin didn’t come so easily.
Eager to change that, Sonic hopped his way up onto the top wing. He hooked his knees around the edge of it and leaned backwards so he dangled upside down, facing the cockpit. His grin turned devilish as he prepared to nab himself one sneaky little fox. Except when his eyes landed on Tails, Sonic couldn’t exactly bring himself to.
Tails was huddled on the floor of the cockpit, halfway under the seat. He had his toolkit open beside him, working on the underside of the console. His hands trembled as he focused on tightening a bolt that didn’t need tightening. His wrench slipped out of his shaky grip, clattering loudly against the metal body of the plane when it fell. Both Sonic and Tails’s ears flattened with a wince, the latter fumbling to pick it back up for something to grip tightly.
“Hey, bud.” Sonic tilted his head as Tails made a point not to meet his gaze.
“I’ll go to bed in a minute,” Tails answered quickly. “I just need to finish this first. Can’t leave a job half-finished.”
“‘Can’t?’ Or ‘won’t?’”
“Sonic, please. This is important.” His attempt at sounding stern was undermined by his own voice wavering, so Sonic promptly switched tactics to help put his little brother’s mind at ease.
“Then how ‘bout I help? I still know my way around the Tornado. Just tell me what needs screwing or wrenching and I’ll take care of it faster than you can say ‘Speed Highway,’ keed,” he offered.
Tails lowered the wrench to his lap, ears and tails drooping pitifully in direct contrast to the way he finally lifted his gaze. Sonic’s smile faltered. Oh. The fear he saw reflected in them dug its claws into him, tugging at the niggling worries and what-ifs he’d been trying so hard to ignore himself since he’d started the whole guardianship process.
“That’s the whole point, isn’t it?” Sonic mused. “You’re trying not to go to sleep.”
Tails rubbed the curve of the wrench with his index finger, glancing down at it as he shrugged with one shoulder. “If I stay up, then tomorrow won’t come as fast,” he admitted. “At least it won’t feel like it.”
Sonic’s muzzle twisted to one side, the sympathetic look lopsided as he continued to hang upside down. “Hate to break it to you, kiddo, but tomorrow’s kinda already here.”
Tails dropped his head with a heavy nod. “I know… Guess I just figured I could keep working on the Tornado, you know. Just in case…”
Even if the blood hadn’t been rushing to his head, Sonic couldn’t leave Tails curled up on the floor of the cockpit on his own. He heaved himself back upright with a grunt, then swung down into the cockpit seat. Tails ducked to avoid getting kicked in the head, only for Sonic to nab him around the middle and hoist him up onto the seat with him, dragging him into the V of his legs, back to chest.
“Worried about the court hearing, huh?” Sonic asked gently, and it was that gentleness that broke Tails’s resolve. He nodded, allowing himself to be cradled as he relinquished the wrench in favor of grabbing onto Sonic’s arms when they wrapped around him. “It’s gonna be okay, Tails. We quadruple-checked the paperwork before we submitted it, didn’t we? There’s no way they’re dinging us on that.”
“What if that’s still not enough?” Tails drew his knees up, curling up in a defensive ball for comfort. “What if they say I can’t stay with you? Only eleven percent of kids in foster care in Station Square’s district exit due to guardianship, you know.”
“You’re breaking out the statistics on me? Since when have statistics ever stopped Sonic the Hedgehog?”
“Do you actually want an answer to that?” Tails asked.
“No,” Sonic said simply, then gave it some genuine thought. “Only eleven percent, you say?” He waited for Tails’s nod, then continued, “Okay, then what’s the rest of the breakdown look like? What’s the highest percentage for kids getting the heck outta foster care?”
Tails squirmed in his lap. “Reunification…”
“Which is…?”
Tails sighed heavily. “Kids going back to their parents.”
“So not something we gotta worry about,” Sonic replied with his whole chest out, all the confidence in the world in a single sentence. “What’s next?”
“Adoption.”
“Just a fancier way to do what we’re doing here,” Sonic tacked on. “What else?”
“The rest of the data is classified as ‘other,’ with less than one percent unaccounted for entirely.”
“So sounds like that eleven percent ain’t too shabby!” Sonic ruffled Tails’s fur, and while the kid didn’t bat him away, he didn’t look any more cheered up either.
“Aren’t you scared at all? This could be our last night together. Everything could change again, just because some stuffy grown-ups think they know better than us, but they don’t! They don’t know anything!”
“Hey, hey, hey,” Sonic soothed, smoothing his mussed up fur back down with a softer touch. “‘Course I’m scared, bud.”
“You are?”
“You bet. This definitely makes the top five scariest things I’ve ever done,” he chuckled, then swallowed past the thick layer of fear gumming up his throat. “But I’m not about to let it bother me, ‘cuz at the end of the day, it’s not gonna matter.”
“Of course it matters—!” Tails twisted around in his arms to face him, ready to argue, but was stopped when Sonic tapped him on the nose. “Sonic,” he whined.
“It matters if it works,” Sonic clarified. “But if it doesn’t, then you and me are gonna hightails it to the Tornado and crash with Knuckles on Angel Island until we're just a footnote in their cold case files.” He already had their backpack packed, tucked in the back of his closet, not that he wanted Tails to think there was any doubt this would all work out in their favor. “Nothing’s gotta change, bud. Except for maybe a change of scenery.”
Tails observed him quietly, fluffed up fur settling as his breathing steadied with some semblance of a plan in place. “But you don’t like Angel Island.”
“I never said that.”
Tails arched a brow, letting him know, in no uncertain terms, that he didn’t have to say as much. “There aren’t any chili dogs up there.”
Sonic rolled his eyes with a snort and flicked his forehead. “I’ll live.”
Leaning back, Tails rubbed at the spot between his eyes with a mutinous little glare that made Sonic want to squish his face between his paws. He refrained as the look turned more pensive, Tails quietly contemplative. Sonic tried to match the expression, albeit in his own goofy way, puffing out his own cheeks and going cross-eyed until Tails took notice.
The kid ignored him. “You really mean it?”
Sonic broke character, his turn to cast a skeptical look Tails’s way before he shrugged. “Sure. It’s not exactly a small price to pay, but chili dogs aren’t the end all, be all. I can get by for a few months without ‘em—”
“No, I meant…” There was a slight furrow to Tails’s brow as he searched Sonic’s face, as though it would tell him the right words to say if he could only capture a glimpse of sincerity. “Nevermind.”
Sonic dropped the teasing. “I know what you meant,” he assured him. “Of course, I really meant it. I just got you back, little bro. I’m not about to let someone else try to separate us. We tried playing by their rules. We did the best we could and if that’s not good enough for them, it’s no one’s fault but theirs. We’re a team. You’re my family.”
Tails swallowed, then ducked his head and snuggled close, wrapping both arms and tails around him to secure his hold. Sonic hugged him back with a warm chuckle, scritching his fingers against the base of his spine. They truly had done everything in their power to secure this guardianship. The packet had already been submitted, interviews conducted, and home inspection signed, sealed, and delivered to the judge’s desk. The decision was already made, their court appointment merely a formality.
But Sonic had long ago decided that this kid was his, and that trumped any court order they’d try to stamp on them.
“C’mon, little bro. Let’s say goodnight to the Tornado and call it a night.”
“Okay. All the updates I wanted to do are already finished, I just… didn’t want to leave her.”
Sonic let him go, but Tails just grabbed onto his hand and flew him up out of the biplane. “I get it. What kinda updates didja give her?”
“Nothing major,” Tails replied, letting Sonic get the light before they headed up the stairs. “It was just stuff I’d been meaning to get to, refreshing the landing gear and tightening the turn radius. I didn’t want her to give you any trouble in case I wasn’t gonna be… you know…”
They stopped at the top of the steps, Tails giving a nervous little shrug as he let the silence speak for him. Sonic glanced back down at the darkened workshop, then closed the door with a firm click. Too fast for Tails to avoid, he hoisted him up and slung him over his shoulder like he was nothing more than a sack of chili beans. The kid squealed, kicking the air as he dangled upside down.
“Sonic! You suck!” he complained, though it didn’t carry any weight when he was trying hard to hold back his laughter. “No fair!”
“One sec! Just gotta shake all these worries outta your head, little bro, that’s all!” Sonic jiggled him back and forth, squeaky giggles spilling out as Tails struggled to get his bearings.
His twin tails started spinning in an attempt to lift the two of them up off the floor, but he ended up just thwacking Sonic in the face repeatedly until they were both laughing themselves silly. Sonic managed to haul him into his room and unceremoniously dumped him on his bed. Tails immediately lunged for the edge in an escape attempt, but Sonic was too quick. He had him practically swaddled in a Sonic Second; arms, legs, and tails all tucked in the tangle of his bed sheets.
“And the big brother reigns supreme!” Sonic planted one foot on the bed as he struck a victory pose, while Tails stuck his tongue out at him and blew a raspberry. “No one likes a sore loser, keed.”
“You’re one to talk.”
Sonic hopped down and ruffled his fur, Tails unable to do anything about it when he was tucked in so snuggly. His grumbly little noises gradually tapered off as Sonic’s touch gentled into something less like a noogie and more like soft petting. Something to soothe him after just riling him up.
Sonic scritched behind his ear, watching the playful glare fade from his eyes. They were still far from sleepy, big and fixated on him with a look Sonic was all-too familiar with. Like if he closed his eyes for even a second, he’d disappear forever.
Sonic sat down on the edge of the bed. “I’ll stay until you fall asleep,” he told him. “That okay with you, bud?”
Tails’s muzzle quivered, but he still nodded, wiggling a little in his blanket cocoon. Sonic tugged on the covers so they weren’t so tight, giving the kid some room to breathe. Once his hands were free, Tails fisted them in the sheets and drew them up under his chin snuggly. Sonic shifted so he could sit criss-cross applesauce beside him, one hand settling atop his head to continue stroking the fur between his ears. He was thinking about a song to hum, something to distract from the churning sea of worries and fear Tails’s mind was still adrift on.
Before he settled on something, a soft voice said, “Will you stay forever?”
It was sweet, sickeningly so, but that didn’t stop it from breaking Sonic’s heart like brittle, hard candy against a stone. “You bet,” he promised. “Your big bro’s not going anywhere.”
Tails reached up, curling his fingers around Sonic’s wrist, the pad of his thumb resting over his pulse point. Though his heart rate was always racing with a little extra speed even at rest, on and off throughout the night he’d been experiencing the occasional rush of anxiety-induced adrenaline. Each passing second carried them close to their end goal, or would time them out of their time together entirely. Game over.
Shifting his hold, Tails gave Sonic’s paw his own reassuring squeeze. “If they tried to separate us, I’d come find you.”
A sideways smile quirked his muzzle. “I don’t doubt it, bud. But I’d like to see ‘em try.” Sonic slid down so he could recline on his side, stretched out along the length of the bed. “They’d have to catch us first.”
Tails made a tch sound and scooted over to give Sonic more room. “In their dreams.”
“You tell ‘em, Tails,” Sonic chuckled. “And speaking of dreams…”
“I know,” Tails sighed dramatically, rolling onto his side and pinning Sonic’s hand beneath his cheek. “Sure picked a time to start acting like a bossy big brother.”
“Just practicing for the greatest role of my career.” Sonic grinned. “Gotta give the people what they want.”
“Who cares what they want?” Tails’s eyes closed, an annoyed crease in his brow. “You’re already pretty great to me.”
It was that kind of sappy stuff that made Sonic not mind so much that his hand was likely about to go numb again by being the kid’s pillow. “Just ‘pretty great?’”
“Well, you did just throw me over your shoulder like a sack of potatoes.”
“Sorry, keed. You want a big bro, getting tossed around comes with the territory,” Sonic teased. “Besides, you got your revenge.”
“That was only phase one.”
“Oh yeah? What’s phase two?”
Tails snorted. “I’m not telling you. It’s gotta come when you least expect it.”
“Hm. Sounds dangerous,” Sonic hummed, letting his eyes close with a smirk. “Looks like I’ll just have to keep on my toes then.”
“And sleep with one eye open,” Tails snickered.
“That doesn’t sound ominous at all.”
Tails giggled as Sonic rubbed his side through the blanket before draping his arm over him for an extra layer of security. “Goodnight, Sonic.”
“‘Night, Tails.”

honestly seeing Jack Sinclair grab wade’s face like that in the first episode… were they trying to recreate stobotnik?
Tumblr media
As weird as it is to say this, I think Robotnik shows more care and appreciation towards Stone than Jack shows towards Wade.

So we thinking Wade’s pan- or bisexual? I’m leaning towards pansexual.
So, Jack Sinclair was Wade's ex, right?

The clinking of glass bottles made the grumpy barcat sigh, eyes blinking away the sleep he had just tried his damnest to shake, a clawed hand rubbing at his eyes gently while he grumbled a breath in and allowed his wings to stretch out behind him. The span of his wings grazed the countertop as the satisfaction of the little pops in his joints disappeared, making for them to flutter back to their usual position behind him as he turned on his heel to continue his task.
'8:52, Nifty should be coming around soon.' As the clock ticked just a minute forward, the lobby door busted open to reveal a frantically, speedy, chaotic little woman with her oversized sewing needle stabbing at the ground after a small bunch of running cockroaches. 'Yep.. right on time.'
Time drug like a corpse being pulled by a small toddler, only laying his head down for what felt like hours, just to pick it up and see that only a solid 20 minutes had bungled by almost mockingly. "Chriiist.." He whined, stretching across the counter to where his arms hung loosely over the other side. It was exhausting being a puppet, a pawn to another's game, a pet.

Pet.
Pet.
Pet.
He hated being considered one, but.. With the way your fingers felt weaving through his fur as you cooed softly underneath him, he didn't mind the title as it was given. Because who could hate such a feeling? Comfort. Relaxation. Fuck, if you were to ask him now if he felt any better he'd tell you all the tension from what felt like forever had been washed away. Just by a single pet, a single loving stroke, one heartfelt scratch, another blissfully unaware nuzzle from your beaked lips, that little coo you did when he'd move everso slightly, just by you. Your legs shifted, one wrapping around his and the other hanging til it was off the couch, so you had enough room to shimmy a bit til your face was directly planted into the cats fluff woth a satisfied hum. Then with a muffled, "I fuckin' needed this.." You began to let yourself drift away as his body weight blanketed you as a weighted one would, with that comfort of being kept helplessly safe.

I finally got around to expanding on Aurora and Sage's friendship a little more. This was so much fun, I couldn't stop once I started! I'm going to tag all posts regarding them with #luminescentladies since they both glow!
Sonic Frontiers Spoilers: Yes, Sage does end up being good in the end. BUT she's still the daughter of THE Dr. Robotnik! So her villainous side comes out from time to time ;)

I had a great time at the Sonic themed night hosted by Beacon.events at Endgame Bar in Mesa! It was amazing to be surrounded by so many people who love Sonic as much as I do. And I got to meet the lovely @jazzxsonic-art who made me feel super welcome even though I’m painfully shy 🙈
