Bunny~
I'm going to name her "Primrose". She is probably my favorite, and I think she’ll be Miss Cow’s (name pending) girlfriend. I hope to take more photos of her in different outfits soon~ <3

Peachy~
I left her bonnet off because it made her so top-heavy. It also damaged the paint on her hair (!!) while she was in her box, and I don't want it to get worse.
I'll have to find her something else to wear instead. ^^

When I first saw Toysfield Kuma and Usagi in some of my Dolly*Dolly mooks, I have to admit I found them a little creepy and unappealing. The Rushton-inspired "rubber face" stuffed animal style wasn't necessarily my thing. After seeing more photos of them, though, particularly the customized ones featured in Dollybird volume 16, I fell in love.
However, since I still wasn't sure they would be "right" for me in person, I hesitated on spending ~20,000+ yen on a "like new" one.
When this guy -- missing his scarf, with dirty fur and vinyl -- came up on Yahoo!Japan with a super low starting bid, I thought it might be my chance to snag one for cheap. He ended at 4,000 yen! If it wasn't possible to clean him up, or if I didn't click with the reality versus photos, I wouldn't have spent too much on the discovery.
Turns out that he's totally cute in person! His internal skeleton seems to be in good shape and he poses decently. Almost all of the dirt and "stains" on his vinyl cleaned up easily with a bit of Volks sponge, and I was able to brush out most of the dirt in his fur already. There's some paint rubbing, mostly on his nose, that will still need to be fixed up, and I'll probably give him a second cleaning pass soon.
I'm still in the process of deciding what all to do with him. I like the idea of repainting his nose with a softer color (why is it red? it doesn't match the rest of him at all), and it might be nice to completely reskin him with a different faux fur fabric, maybe a pastel pink or something. I don't have much experience with sewing, but I'd like to think I can hack together something. Plus he'll get some accessories, of course, to replace the lost scarf (for these shots, I just decided to play with some of my dolls' things).
What do you think? Is he creepy or cute? Should I come up with a name for him or just leave him as "Kuma"? Reskin him or no, and if so, does anyone have a pattern handy? XD?

Wig test. I’m pretty sure this is the third time I’ve had this exact (or very similar) LeekeWorld wig for Jer. Why I like it better now, I have no idea, but there it is.

Just playing around with Jer!
This red beret wasn’t intended to be part of his current ensemble (if you like my dolls’ outfit builds, follow worldruinedfactory on Instagram!), but it’s honestly a better color match than the knit hat I did initially pick out. I’m not sure the beret look really suits his personality, though?
Still... the overall effect is pretty cute, huh. Should I stick with it or nah?
