I hate that I've never been able to casually connect with most women I meet because I really don't relate to all the rituals of femininity, which have become one of the main things women bond over. I'm in no way masculine, but I've always felt so out of place and unwelcome when I find myself with a group of women that start talking about makeup or fashion or anything like that. I'm not trying to belittle these women at all but the fact that beauty rituals have become a casual thing for women to bond over makes it really isolating to be a woman who doesn't do any of that. And it gets worse when people describe "girlhood" and womanhood to be about these rituals. If I believed in gender this isolating feeling would definitely make me question if I was even a woman at all, and that is kinda tragic. I feel like the fight against gender roles is moving backwards.

When I was on anonymous venting sites, I came across a homosexual guy and a homosexual girl who had both been sexually abused as children, and who both had female perpetrators.
Both of them discussed a deep sense of shame regarding their homosexuality, and how they were mortified of the idea that others would attribute their homosexuality to the fact that they were child sexual abuse victims.
It was the first time I really noticed that homosexuals can never simply be recognized as victims of sexual abuse in the same, uncomplicated way that heterosexuals are. For homosexual people, it seems that whether their abuser was of the sex they're attracted to, or the sex they're not attracted to, the sexual abuse will always be blamed for either making them gain or lose attraction to the sex of their abuser.

You say "I think it's a little fucked up to want to hurt someone in a sexual context even if they ask you to" and nonbinary-queer-cutie will call you a christofascist

Ms Rowling posted on X: "I hope every woman in Scotland who wishes to speak up for the reality and importance of biological sex will be reassured by this announcement, and I trust that all women - irrespective of profile or financial means - will be treated equally under the law. "If they go after any woman for simply calling a man a man, I'll repeat that woman's words and they can charge us both at once."
that's a really smart strategy ngl

J.K. Rowling has been proven right!
"The Cass Review is a damning indictment of what the NHS has been doing to children.
"Dr Hilary Cass has submitted her final report and recommendations to NHS England in her role as Chair of the Independent Review of gender identity services for children and young people.
"Hilary Cass’s report demolishes the entire basis for the current model of treating gender-distressed children. Its publication is a shameful day for NHS England, which for too long gave vulnerable children harmful treatments for which there was no evidence base. It’s now clear to all that this was quack medicine from the start.
"Dr Cass delivers stinging criticisms of NHS gender clinics, both adult and child, and her description of the Gender Identity Development Service is absolutely damning. It is disgraceful that GIDS, alongside the adult clinics, did not cooperate with her attempt to survey its practice, or to carry out a high-quality, long-term follow-up study on the treatment of children as part of the review, which would have been a global first."

"Glinner" is Graham Linehan, a writer, screenwriter, and comedian who's been fighting against transitioning minors for years, losing friends, his job, and his agent along the way. But he's kept on fighting.

The tide has turned in the UK and in Europe. When will American media finally begin reporting on the closing of "gender clinics" and the bans on puberty blockers for children? I figure nothing will happen here in the U.S. until the lawsuits start flooding in. It's already begun. And with proof like the Cass Review and the WPATH files, it's going to be very, very difficult for clinics, doctors, and therapists to continue lying about how transitioning does no permanent and irreversible physical and psychological harm.

The rise in attention to the South Korean 4B movement these last couple days is so thrilling. I see so many women talking about it on tiktok, entire comment sections flooding with “4B movement now” whenever a woman complains about her shitty moid of a partner, coupled with detailed chroniclings of the ever-decaying state of the male loneliness epidemic.

I was at a courthouse once, and saw an indigenous australian woman in a dressing gown very carefully and gingerly making her way down the steps outside the courthouse, surrounded by family who were helping her down the stairs. We asked if she was OK, because she looked awful. She looked like she should have been wrapped up in bed with blankets and hot soup, not on the steps of a courthouse.
One of her family told us that she had given birth yesterday evening, but that Child Protection services had taken her baby away with no warning, claiming that she wasnt prepared to look after him. What had happened, is that she'd literally only just given birth -- hadn't even passed the afterbirth yet, is holding her blood-coated, crying, newborn baby to her chest -- and a nurse asked what her feeding plan was. She was tired from the birth and distracted by the brand new baby in her arms and thrown off by the timing of the question, but still, she managed to answer, and said she planned to breastfeed him whenever he was hungry.
Well apparently that wasn't enough of a plan for the hospital staff, who reported her and claimed that she was unprepared to look after the child, and claimed that had no social supports, and that the baby was at risk if left with her. All because a brand new mother, 30 seconds after giving birth, didn't have a PowerPoint presentation ready to go that cited the timing cycle she would feed her kid on, and instead simply said that she would feed him when he was hungry.
Child Protection services showed up, took her kid, and she was told to show up to court the next day to contest custody if she wanted her baby back.
So a woman who had given birth less than 24 hours prior was forced to rally her family and show up to court to prove that she a) had a feeding plan for the child, and b) had enough social supports to justify reclaiming her baby.
It was one of the most appalling things I'd ever seen. I don't even know if she won her case. They didn't know at the time we saw them, and after that brief interaction on the stairs, i never saw them again. I sincerely hope she got her newborn baby back.
That was about 5 years ago. And the exact same kind of thing is still happening today.
News broke today from a South Australian whistle-blower of the appalling treatment new mothers frequently receive, including hospital staff taking the baby away from the mother "for medical tests," only for the mother to then be told, with absolutely no prior warning, that the baby was not going to be returned to her.
Here's the article, and here are some excerpts:

still thinking about how Jaha Dukureh, an FGM and child marriage survivor who was one of the principal activists getting FGM banned in the Gambia said this:
“One thing I want to make clear is, in my view, FGM isn't so different from the procedure labiaplasty, which you can find in the US and other places. Women are choosing labiaplasty because that's what they're seeing in porn and they perceive it as the ideal of what the female anatomy should look like. Fundamentally, it's about telling women and human beings that they're not good enough unless they do something for us. It's still cultural“.
and she’s right

Are women allowed to have any standards when it comes to dating men?
If a woman wants a man who is conventionally attractive, tall or athletic, she is shallow.
If a woman wants a man who earns good money or at least has some financial stability/gainful employment, a career or good career prospects, she is a gold-digger.
If a woman wants a man who is educated, cultivated or takes an active interest in the world around him one way or another, she is a snob.
If a woman wants a man who is not a complete porn-addict with a severe case of terminal misogyny, she is a stuck-up bitch.
If a woman wants a man who is kind, considerate and actually cares about her, she pussy-whips her boyfriend or husband.
If a women wants a man who shares values, interests or life-style choices that are important to her, she is mean and exclusionary, because why wouldn't she give men a chance she is clearly not compatible with?
Seriously, what are women allowed to look for in a male partner? Oh, wait, I know! She is supposed to want a man who is funny and makes her laugh. That is a demand no man feels threatened by, because they all think they are comedy gold.
