"ey, no worries, kid. would've woken you if i didn't approve." ethan himself had just enjoyed the peace & quiet, some giggling around them - people talking. it was comfortable & the weather was great. ethan knew he'd never have pups of his own, so he enjoyed what if just as much as the real deal. "hope you didn't need to be anywhere?" he would feel bad if kieran missed work or something because he'd let him nap too long.

Kieran had taken a liking to the male. They were big and so soft to lay on. Cuddles and being held were Kieran's weakness one of the ways to easily get him in his good chance. He had fallen asleep on the other, loving how nice they felt and also how nice they smelled too. He slowly opened his eyes and looked up at Ethan. "Sorry...I feel asleep," he spoke softly as his hands reached out for the other's hand and he held it, playing with their hand.

"That was a good nap," his eyes shined with happiness but they still filled with sleep.

ronyn wasn't the most emotional person ethan knew, but compared to others - ethan could see that he felt, ronyn himself just wasn't aware, or maybe he just .. didn't understand. it didn't matter to him, ethan liked him the way he was. if he opened up more? great. if he didn't? also great.

"yeahhh, thought i could help. everything happened so fast. glad you & the pups weren't here for that." nobody should've had to see this, really. he didn't really want to let go of the other, not yet. "you good just .. hugging for a while?" he couldn't stop thinking about who they lost... it was.. he never thought athos would see tragedy like this.

"Everyone is fine and knowing the last person I care about is fine is good," he spoke letting out a sigh. Ronyn did not realize how scared and nervous he was. He was so worried about the other after making sure everyone else was safe. Ronyn was unaware he could feel like this, he himself did not understand it but he knew that he was happy to be able to hold the other. He slowly pulled away and looked at Ethan. "Glad to know you are alright and I can see that," he spoke as he looked and studied the male.

ethan felt he got along well with most of the village. he couldn't think of anybody he disliked, but okay - he also hadn't met everybody yet. with new people joining every day, he was quite sure he never would, but that was okay, too. he didn't need to know everybody. he knew his pack, he knew the leaders & a few others here & there.

he felt the most comfortable with the kitchen staff, though - other than a certain hunter he spent way too much time with. these people made this place his home, one of them billy who was never a negative influence, always cheerful & happy to lend a helping hand.

"you're telling me to drink while you're cleaning? damn, can't say i don't enjoy watching someone else scrubs those pots once in a while." ethan chuckled, leaning back in his seat. the question came as a bit of a surprise, but he didn't mind. he sniffed, using the fact he was so close & hummed while he thought. "definitely venison, but ... you do smell good. like wood & fire." a familiar scent, a good scent. "we're worrying about our scent now? if someone tells you you smell good, you own it." ethan huffed out a little laugh, patting the other on the shoulder.

Billy wouldn't admit it but he was a little bit of a sucker for Ethan. He didn't know what it was about him- maybe it was the way he laughed or that wonderful beard but he wanted to be around him more than some of the other kitchen staff.

He wasn't a very introspective wolf though, so he wasn't gonna think about it too hard. Just let it be what it was until it was something else.

"Eh. I had some bits I had to get out of the big pot at the bottom. So like five minutes-" he said with a shrug. "Just enough time to get through the last of the honey apple tankard we needed to kill off anyways." Of course, seeing as how the big pot was approximately half his size and at least as big around, that was saying something.

Billy put his arm around Ethan's shoulders. "Living the best life I can think of, my friend. The very best! I have a question for you. And this is fairly intimate. How do I smell? Do I smell nice? Because I had a bard tell me I did and I was like- is it me you smell or the venison I made earlier?" he asked with a smile.

"alllllright, okay. yeah." ethan usually was the one looking, but being the center of attention once in a while should be interesting to say the least. not that others didn't have sex in public places in athos, but ethan had yet to do it in such an obvious place. first time for everything right? "mhm, yeah. wouldn't want someone else to take what's yours, huh?" one arm loosely around ronyn's neck, fingers playing with his hair & the other was resting against ronyn's hip.

his head fell back against the tree with a soft laugh rumbling in his chest. oh yeah, he'd missed this, human touch. "that's good, uhuh." in return, ethan slid that hand on ronyn's hip across his belly & slowly down pants, past the knot that held it up & down until he could wrap long fingers around him.

Ronyn did have many different sides to him. Sides that he had yet to discover, this moment felt so good. He felt free and relax. The other's scent, he was in a strange mood. After all Ethan did cause a reaction with him like no one else did. "I don't mind if people see us. People see just how perfect we are and hear out moans," he voice deep, seductive and so very different. Ethan was going to see a side of him that only a few people had seen.

"Looks like I have to take care of a beautiful omega who deserves the world. I am going to make you mine," he whispered back as his shirt was take off and a small moan escaped his lips as his collarbone was kissed. This was more than sex, there was something more to this. Ronyn inserted his hands into the male's pants and slowly started feeling and stroking him.

ohhhkay, they were going to do this. out here, though? he knew others didn't mind, but did he? he wasn't sure, actually. "you wanna get down & dirty out here, huh?" he'd never really minded others knowing about who he was seeing & or sleeping with - not like two alpha mates could be very discreet in a tiny fishing village, but still. ronyn was really trying, especially the dirty talk, which was endearing, honestly. fine, okay. yeah. sure.

arms around the other's neck, he held him close, nuzzling at the delicate skin between his ear & shoulder, he ..was quite enjoying the attention. sure, he'd had encounter here & there, but nothing on a very emotionally deep level in quite a long time. this was different, if fresh. he pulled the omega's shirt off over his head, spreading little kisses along his collarbone. "yeah." breathy whisper against ronyn's skin, "yeah, definitely. better do something about it."

"I really am," he spoke with a smile. Ronyn was more talkative today maybe because today he was forced to relax and not had to worry about things. There was not a time the younger wolf had taken a break and been forced to take one by some of his friends and he did not have any excuse. Still, he had always wanted to compliment the other not because he wanted to get into their pants but because he wanted. After all Ethan did bring him food and they had develop a friendship. He was still unsure he felt anything but at this moment this was nice for him.

He chuckled softly at the other's question as he held them closer towards him his hands slowly rubbing his back for a moment before running through the male's hair. "You are too handsome, I will not mind making you my omega but tonight. I want to see just how good this handsome guy. Does he want to taste me before he gets breed?" he whispered softly sweet and soft as he felt the male. "Is someone getting horny for their alpha?"

the day had been wonderful, ethan loved honoring the founders of athos as without their effort, he wouldn't have a safe place to call his home. he didn't win any contests, but he didn't really care, he was busy enough cooking enough to keep the village sated & happy for the entire day. he had taken some time off to spend with ronyn during festivities - the other cooks had sent him away because he'd spent more time than anybody preparing foods the day before. ethan couldn't say he minded. ronyn was lovely, yes - he had his issues, but ethan didn't mind as he, too, had his own. they were good for each other & despite the omega's emotional shortcomings, he knew that ronyn cared.

he wasn't good at showing it, but when it mattered, he knew how to wrap ethan around his little finger. with ease. even if that meant he left ethan alone to look after his siblings. he often did, it was okay. neither of them had expected for the festivities to turn grim. fire broke out, then came the panic & people either tried to flee or help. ethan was trying to help people get away from the flames & out of danger. ash was covering his entire body by the time he heard that all-too familiar voice call for him.

big, stupid, puppy smile on his lips, he spun around just in time to get tackle hugged. oohhhkay. "hey, hey now. i'm all right, just dirty. the pups alright?" ronyn's siblings were like his own family to ethan at this point, he'd die & kill for them if he had to.

Was Ronyn worried? He was, for the man who could not feel emotions and was numb but for some reason he was scared out of his mind. He had left Ethan to check on his siblings earlier before the fire broke out. When he saw the fire, his heart was filled with thread and fear for two people he cared for so much in the world that he never realized until now. He needed to find to find the male, he could not help himself. He had tried his best to help put out the fire after making sure the twins were safe. After the fire was out he looked every for Ethan, heart beating fast until he found the other.

Seeing them, made him feel relied and happy. He did not understand why, maybe he died but a part of himself refused to feel yet but right now showed him that maybe he was indeed able to feel. "Ethan!" he shouted as he pulled the other into a hug and held them tight not wanting to let go.

"ey, i'm glad you liked. today was a ...special creation, super secret recipe of yours truly, actually." there were some things a cook never shared & recipes from his home village were part of that. "don't let that discourage you. funny story, first time i was supposed to cook dinner for my pack - i was maybe fifteen, i set fire to our hut." a little chuckle escaped at the memory. the entire village had seen the flames, but thankfully no other house was affected. "i didn't give up then and nowadays i get to do what i enjoy." most in athos were grateful, too, like sethan. some less so, but ethan didn't really care. "so if you ever wanna try again, just let me know. i know a trick or two."

"Hey! Sorry, totally don't mean to get in your way," Sethan said quickly as he shot the other a small smile before nodding his head. "Just wanted to say good job with the food! It tasted really good! You and the other cooks sure know your stuff. My parents tried to teach me how to cook one time...Nearly burned the family cabin down." Sethan admitted sheepishly with a small giggle and a shake of his head.

(A TO Z Headcannon) - E. T. H. A. N

E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)

-> Depends on how you define experience. He's had plenty of encounters, but 100% with the same person - his deceased mate. So, he knows what he's doing, but also a lot he doesn't.

T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)

-> Uhhhh, yes. He owns a polished wooden dildo, for himself, but he doesn't use it often, because it reminds him he'd growing older every day and is alone with no pups and given his preferences, he likely won't have any. (If only he knew the gift Mother Wolf is going to bestow upon him.)

H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)

-> He has dark hair all over, but his beard (when he grows one) is a bit more grey than the rest of his body. He's not super hairy on the body, but not shaven either. He grooms, yes, he wants to feel like he can get undressed without needing time to prepare & still make a good impression.

A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)

-> He likes basking in the afterglow, honestly. Curl up & enjoy his partner's presence, their scents. He doesn't mind the sweat, he just wants to enjoy the moment.

"man, you are dishin' out compliments today." he chuckled, leaning his head back against the tree. maybe it was cause he was trying to get laid, but ronyn felt a lot more open & talkative today. not that he usually didn't talk, but he was being quite open with him today, it was refreshing.

it was also good they had this talk, because as it turned out, ronyn had pretty clear preferences for his sex life. holy mother of the forest. "the way you said that, that was hot - not gonna lie." he made a little whooh sound like he was taking a deep breath, but he knew the answer to ronyn's question before he'd finished it, honestly. "i guess you're lucky you picked the only alpha in the village who's into that." honestly, though - what the hell was it with his luck? he'd been pondering on how he'd keep this going if they ever came to be a couple. he could play alpha every now & then, but a lifetime? he'd crumble. "you can call me whatever you want, alpha."

"Yes, cute and handsome," he replied back as he looked at Ethan. Ethan was handsome and he liked helping the guy out, making sure that they had best of the catch and he did not mind taking request. Ronyn just thought he did it because Ethan was nice and would use it to benefit the whole village but deep down there was someone more to it. "Thank, I have been told I need to smile," he smiled as the male pulled him closer and the wrapped their arms around his neck and legs.

"Well, I do love making beautiful people blush," he spoke voice seductive and charming as he looked into those eyes as his hands played with the back of his of his hair. "Tell me handsome cook, you should something about me but first, do you like being treated like an omega? Being turned into one and dominate. Do you want me to do that to you," he spoke as he whispered into the male's ears his voice deep and powerful.

"cute huh? something i don't hear often." was he cute? he wondered what ronyn saw in him anyway? that ethan was into alphas was just as strange, he assumed, but he did wonder sometimes. today was turning out a lot more touchy-feely than he expected & honestly, he liked it. he liked the idea of ronyn's skin against his. "i'm glad you feel like smiling, though - you've got a wonderful smile." he was beautiful, inside & out. when they kissed again, ethan pulled the other in closer, arms around his neck & legs somewhat loosely wrapped around the other's legs.

out here was not his preferred place to be, but he'd seen plenty of this in the village, so he was rather calm still. "man, you really know how to make a girl blush." the alpha chuckled, thumb against ronyn's lips & letting the tip of it dip into his bottom lip a little. "got a pair of beautiful lips yourself if i may add." another quick peck to said lips, then he huffed out a low laugh. "pretty specific wishes you got there, but uh... we can make them come true."

Ronyn could not help but laugh at the other's words. Ronyn shake his head before running his hands through his hair, removing one hand from the other other's chest but placing it back and squeezing and feeling the man's chest feeling it and liking how it felt. "Well, I find it annoying only because that smile makes me smile and maybe it's not too annoying and I am just being me who finds handsome cute alpha annoying," he replied playfully hit the male softly before pulling in for another kiss but this time so much longer making out with Ethan until he needed to breath. Ethan did have an effect on, a good one and he enjoyed it.

Deep down, the male was falling fast but Ronyn did not realize it yet but in time he would. "True, I guess old habits die hard especially when you are so used to being tensed," he replied as he hid face in the other's chest for a moment before looking into the other's eyes. "You have beautiful eyes and nice lips. Why do I feel like I want to be closer to you tonight? I want to explore and get to know more of your body, your smile and hear how you moan"

he faked being shocked at the other's very accurate description of his smile. "sorry my smile is annoying. geez. really sorry you've got to deal with every day." he leaned back against the tree, watching the other with awe. he'd never thought he would find this again, least of all with a younger guy. it was still new, but the hunter had definitely sunk an arrow in his heart. when ronyn placed his hands on his chest, he cupped the omega's face with his own. "i'm glad you are. everything's going well, you have no need to be tense." he worried too much, ethan was trying to change that & he'd dare say it worked.

"That annoying smile of yours that is sometimes too annoying cute makes me smile and laugh. You're lucky tonight I am not fighting it," he replied with a chuckle. This was the first time he kissed Ethan and he really enjoyed it but he did not want to rush nor rush. He wondered if the other liked it but then they kissed him back again and without helping nor controlling it, his face turned a bit red. "Your kisses are nice," he spoke as he slowly placed his hands on the other's chest and rubbed it "You know, it's strange because I don't remember the last time I relaxed like this".

"scoot." ethan nudged ronyn's side with a foot, waiting for him to let him slide in-between ronyn & the tree. he let the other lean against his chest, as they often did. they'd spent a lot of time together lately & ethan had found a side of himself he didn't know still existed. "uhuh, sure. see someone fall? is that why you're smiling cheek to cheek?" little laugh, he didn't mind though - he liked ronyn's sharp edges. oh, that kiss was bittersweet - way too short, but oh so lovely. cupping the other's face with his hands, he pressed another, quick little kiss to his lips. "good, cause i'm not gonna spend those moments with anybody else."

Relaxing was never in Ronyn's definition, since his brother's passing he did not know what it was like to relax and what it was like to have fun. So the celebration forced him to do that. He sat and rested his back on a three as a certain alpha sat and rested between him. He looked down trying not to give them a smile but failing greatly. "No..Shut up. You did not make me smile nor laugh at all," he spoke with a small smile on his face as his hands explored the other's body slowly before moving to kiss Ethan before pulling away. "I will admit and say this is nice. This every moment with you."
