I keep thinking about how CCRP probably chose to clone Paul because he seems like just this average guy who’s non-aggressive and good at doing what he’s told even if it produces no joy or meaning for him. A very safe choice when you want a free compliant work force you can exploit however you want right?

But they underestimated Paul, not seeing that he’s actually someone who can show extraordinary courage when the moment calls for it to do what’s right, not seeing that there’s a limit to how much bullshit he will put up with. The revolt Paul 23 organized probably REALLY took them by surprise and it probably gave the Pauls a huge advantage despite most other factors working against them.
