✨ WITCH TIP ✨
You can charge things just by putting them on an altar or by/on other things with the energy you want to charge them with (ex. putting a ring on a crystal, burying a pencil in a jar of herbs, setting a feather down on an altar and telling it to charge with a specific energy associated with that altar)

Save your toilet and kitchen roll tubes! these are easy and affordable to use in spell work. And everyone will have them available. Fold the bottom and put your herbs in, draw sigils on them and you can either keep the spell. Its ecofriendly and can be buried. Or it can be burnt!
Remember to use what you have! - you don't need fancy tools and jars

i did say some things in the tags, i wasnt expecting many people to see this lol, so ill say them here! thanks for the addition!!
you can do energy work, acts as offerings, tech magic, your breath or pointing or your hair, divination with literally anything (even just like the clouds!!), etc.!
if you do what to use something material, then you’re not limited there, either. you can use ANYTHING ever in your craft! just look around! everything you see you can use in witchcraft, i promise
you NEVER need to wait “until you have the money” to start practicing witchcraft. you do not need ANY money for witchcraft. you can have all the money in the world and practice witchcraft every single day without spending a single cent on it. everything you need you already have, inside of you and around you as well.

Quick Witch Tip 3
Put sigils on sticky notes that having matching color correspondences for an extra boost of intent.
Fold them up and keep them in your wallet, a locket, bag/backpack, keychain, workspace, etc.
Or keep them all in a jar and burn one whenever you need to release its effects.

🤖 WITCH TIP 🤖
For more specific communication via divination, you can use random generators online. I’ve linked a random item generator here which I used earlier today to ask my deity something He’d like as an offering from me today, and it worked out wonderfully

🪶 WITCH TIP 🪶
If you like to keep feathers on an altar, but are annoyed at how easily they move around and fall off (bc theyre so light), or if a pet keeps knocking them off and playing with them, you can get a small vase to keep them in

Ways To Be A Garbage Witch
Look everyone, in These Trying Times we can't always afford things so we gotta make do with what we got. So here's some hot tips to help you become a garbage witch:
Save and use apple seeds, orange seeds, peach pits, cherry pits, etc. to use in your spells.
Make a spirit board/pendulum board out of an empty cardboard box.
Make drawstring pouches out of old clothes.
Use bag strings for binding magic or use them in small drawstring bags.
Shoelaces and drawstrings from old pajamas or sweatpants are fine for knot magic or turning into drawstrings for pouches.
Save glass jars for spell jars.
Study carrion animals, animals that eat garbage, fungus, and the process of decomposition in general. Learn about the importance of biodiversity, and the hazards of oversterilization.
But also study proper sanitation methods, and be aware of biohazards. Don't go living in a house fulla mold or fish through people's garbage for... uhhh... ummm... taglocks. Don't store chicken bones so they'll rot.
If you have a compost bin, write anything you want to "decompose" out of your life on a banana peel. Put the banana peel in the bin.
Learn how to repair broken stuff. (But also learn what you really shouldn't repair for yourself - EG, microwaves - lest you meet with a horrible fate.)
Make charms/talismans by cutting out pictures of things that correspond with your intent and decoupaging them onto wood, chipboard, or layered cardboard.
Make paper mache diety art/statues out of newspaper.
Learn more about crafting with scraps, packaging materials, old magazines, etc. (There's many videos on YouTube!)

if you find prayer difficult or unengaging, consider keeping a "destroy this book" style free writing journal.
You "pray" by writing, scribbling, drawing, practice automatic writing, sigil making, etc, and then dedicate the page to your desired entity by anointing it with oil and herbs, sealing it with wax, staining it with coffee or tea, pressing little scraps of things into the hot wax on top of your prayers, etc.
it's basically a practice of free intuition that feels very very good, better for me than sitting in a dark room with a candle and speaking in a formal tone.
As an added benefit, once you fill your book, if you feel like labeling the pages (I didn't, lol), you have within your possession a lumpy, bumpy, messy compendium of beings you can use to summon that absolutely no one else will know what to do with.

📌 WITCH TIP 📌
For altars or offerings, you can make boards on pinterest, OR what I enjoy more: a post on pinterest’s Shuffles app. you can make collages that way as a devotional act and the result is their offering.

🪭 WITCH TIP 🪭
An obvious option to represent the element of air that I rarely ever see mentioned: Fans. A ceiling fan on your room, or a small electric fan that could sit in a purse, or a hand fan (you can make your own with paper), or a fan you keep on your desk, or a box fan in the window, or a standing fan upstairs, etc.
