"Oracle's Wish"

After a long day of work, the purple unicorn threw her saddle bag onto her bed as she entered her bedroom and walked over to the window on the far wall.

As she got closer to the window, she used the magic of her horn to open the window up, which brought a slight breeze and gentle starlight to enter the darkened room. She takes a deep sigh and she reflects on the struggles of the day which had now passed.

"...Why don't ponies seem to like me? Why do they seem put off by my presence?" She asked herself. "What am I doing wrong?"

Oracle looks up into the star filled sky, watching as each star twinkles like the ones beside it. The breeze running through her lavender grey mane starts to relax her the more she stands there to think.

As she looks out, a shooting star zooms by and illuminates the night sky. But for some reason... The star didn't look like any other meteor. Something about it was different, but Oracle didn't know what. Even so, she took a deep breath and decided to follow the pony tradition and make a wish...

"I wish, I wish, I wish upon this wishing star tonight... For me to have a friend by morning light..."

Oh you must mean the Titan bears! They’re scary! But one time the Mama Bear picked me up by the scruff when I was brand new and gave me a licking bath! She was then upset to learn that I wasn’t her new cub.

How many wishing stars are there? How many have you grabbed already?

Impossible to count!

As soon as I collect the wishes the star crumbles into stardust! There’s no definite number of wishing stars EVER EVER out there but as long as you make a wish upon a star then it’s counted for!!!

The most I’ve collected in one go was 589,245,679! I was so exhausted by the end of it I took a nap for most of the month! The Queen then decided to cut back on wishing stars because of that. She wasn’t happy but she couldn’t afford me passing out like that!

I feel really bad about it still ^^’

So you are a wishing star pony?

I know the stars are powerful beings but I did not know there is a kingdom of ones specifically for wishing.

Though I know more than most ponies due to me being the princess of spirits in my own universe I will admit there are still things I have yet to learn.

I guess I am? Queen Star Catcher never really clarified exactly WHAT I was created to be, she only clarified I was to help her gather all the wishing stars and send them down to Equestria to where you all are!

In reality I’m more of a jumble of star and pony, so i guess wishing star pony suits me!!

Paranormal Log 23:1:1

Many ponies that have visited the Canterlot Castle in the past couple of months have claimed that they have been hearing strange voices during nightly strolls and events.

I am currently inside of the gardens to start my investigation and see if my services are actually needed, since there have been calls that I have received that have been false alarms.

I personally do not feel any form of spiritual bodies in the garden, nor any kind of odd creatures.

From what I can tell, I am completely alone out here besides the royal guards who roam around the castle.

While scanning the area and trying to feel any kind of presence, I found one statue that seemed to feel different from the rest... Though I cannot put my hoof on why...

As I still closer I can start to hear muffled voices that sound like faint arguing... Though the cause doesn't seem to be paranormal.

I am pretty sure there is some historical significance to this statue, though I cannot remember what the story is. I will probably have to do some more research when I get back home.

As far as I can tell, no creatures are in serious danger and there is nothing I can do about these voices at the moment, though I would not be surprised if I would be called back to this destination.

Please send in reports to me if you have heard voices in the Canterlot Gardens or see anything that could be considered paranormal activity. I'll be sure to follow up on this if I see needed.

Anything that immediately struck you as odd when you first set down in Equestria?

I actually haven’t arrived in Equestria yet! I fell here once but that’s about it! (It’s how i met Oracle in the first place teehee!) Queen Star Catcher says I’m “too precious to her court” to leave yet :(

However I HAVE noticed that everyone earns these things called CUTIE MARKS!! That’s so COOL!!! The fact that you can explore your destiny instead of being born with it predetermined is so cool, I wish that were me!
