I think, on some level, that Shen Yuan is like enrichment for Airplane Bro's enclosure. I think Airplane Bro kind of fucking LOVES having this guy around. Like, I do think their relationship is nuanced, weird and full of contradictions and not always good for them, but I also think that some chaotic part of Shang Qinghua honestly likes having his #1 hater weirdo running around completely fucking up his world.

Shen Qingqiu, grabbing Shang Qinghua by the shoulders: "Why didn't anyone TELL ME that Binghe is GAY NOW?! I'm going to die because of MONSTER DICK?!?!?!"

Would be funny if Yue Qingyuan subtly/not subtly asks Liu Qingge what he does when Liu Mingyan is angry with him, and later, all the other sibling pairs that exist in the Cang Qiong Mountain Sect the same question.

Maybe it first starts when Qi Qingqi complains/rants to Yue Qingyuan over their tea time how her disciple Liu Mingyan was sulking and causing trouble (much similar to Yue Qingyuan's Xiao Jiu) which Qi Qingqi later discovered was because her brother, their Liu shidi did something stupid to her, and she retaliated as a sibling tantrum.

Then Yue Qingyuan not so secretly follows their answers and advice and use them on Shen Qingqiu.

Not long after, people realise that Yue Qingyuan's said sibling is 'that' prickly Peak Lord who is always rude to their sect leader. And now they connect the dots that those behaviours are just sibling tantrum so all Peak Lords patiently and supportively help Yue Qingyuan and the Scum Villain reconcile.
