anyways. i wish i physically transitioned when i considered it at 14 it's my biggest regret actually. like physically pains me to know i could have probably done it then and didn't try because i was scared to come out and scared of regret. and i know if i don't do it soon because i am scared to come out and scared of everything it will be my biggest regret once again. inaction is action. you cannot go back even a second in time

i act like it's all laughs and giggles but i do have serious issues with some of the stuff around the current political presentation of transness to our fellow trans people & active cis allies... like i do think it is a problem when i come out as a trans man, explain that i'm binary, dealing with a great deal of dysphoria, i have a history of avoiding femininity and feeling intensely uncomfortable within it, that 3 different older adults, all of whom were supposed to be knowledgable and able to offer me support, one of whom is trans themself, ALL emphasized first and foremost that i can be a gender-nonconforming man. that i don't have to medically transition, that i can wear dresses or makeup or whatever. like cool or whatever but that clearly isn't what i want at all or what i'm struggling with and it does literally just sound like you're urging me not to transition lmao. like ive straight up explained that ive always hated wearing dresses when ive forced myself to try dresses on and looked in the mirror i couldn't reconcile the person i saw with myself... that i hate it it makes me uncomfortable and even more dysphoric than usual even when i ided as a woman i never ever wore them and actually fought with my mom abt it a lot... and been told back well maybe someday you can wear one as a man! you can wear dresses as a man btw! consider that! and makeup! and btw you don't have to go on t to be trans! and it's like. what and who does it actually serve to have that be the narrative you are emphasizing to young and scared trans people. like why are we urging us not to transition in any meaningful way lol we already have enough people telling us that. like the whole rest of the world actually is telling us that

re: last post it's so funny to me how many of the experiences of the other binary trans people i know (including myself) would be considered like outdated or falling into bad stereotypes or whatever by a lot of the trans community. like sorry we have the binary gender and the evil dysphoria 🧍‍♂️

#it's good how as there is more awareness about other gender identities and more complex experiences with gender that those get #highlighted more within the community and outside of it. but also those of us who fit with the old bad version are still here. #x #sorry. sorry!!!
