a Tip i have for figuring out a kintype (or any label really) is just. Trying it out! if you’re questioning being a lion therian, refer to yourself as one and see how it feels! spend time in that space! if it doesn’t feel right, you can just stop calling yourself that. trial and error babey

this might be a bad take, however: The reason why therianthropy feels 'fake' and 'like a trend' is not because of masks/tails/quadrobics it's because of the way content creation and social media erode identities into an easily marketable and consumable list of things to do.

I think we need to normalize using "people" as a species neutral word.

Like idk in my brain the word people just doesn't automatically = human. To me it's just a way to signify intelligence and individuality, and to emphasize the need for respect towards another creature, not specific to any one species.

Dogs can be people, mice can be people, dragons can be people, humans can be people, birds can be people, elves can be people, robots can be people, and so on.

It's also (in my opinion) just much easier than always saying "beings" or "individuals" when referring to varying assortments of creatures.

#my problem with people is that in my language you either translate it to the equivalent of 'humans' or 'persons' #and that makes me wary to use people in english ig? #esp since the word for beings is 1:1 in my language and describes what I ID as perfectly

the intrinsic link between the mechanical and the celestial. the operation on parts built and held up by human hands - the erection of temples and spots for prayer and their maitenance and the construction of metallic parts that all function and click together in symbiosis. the otherworldy type of consciousness that we can only understand and model through our own human lens. the way a computer is supported by its technician and a god is supported by its temple. an amalgamation of scraps and parts like an amalgamation of energies and domains. the way the motherboard is the nexus between many other parts like the way angels send messages from gods to humans. the different frame in which to understand the world by; one of technological advance and one of spiritual advance. btw. if you even fucking care.
